Passive agressive communication

When I ordered I accidentally put down the wrong number in the address. This was caused by the automatical forms that are used, and I didn't notice. The package could therefore not be delivered as the address did not exist. The package was returned to the company. They then asked what I wanted and I replied that I would like to receive the package at the right address.
They reacted by sending me a passive agressive e-mail what I was thinking! That they weren't planning on paying the delivery costs 3 times while I payed them only once. Apart from the fact that this wasn't correct (I payed once, they would have payed twice, not 3 times) the tone of their e-mail was far from customer friendly. They could have explained that they were willing to resend it and ask me to pay for the costs. I would have totally understood this.
Now I did pay the costs as well and they did send it once again. But I will never order from this company anymore because they don't understand how to talk to their customers.

Extensive selection, no return service

Extensive selection of kites and accessories, that's a given!

Several items weren't as expected, the product photos left open a lot of guess room, a gamble that didn't pay off.

Send the items back within 14 days. But consumer laws or satisfaction don't seem to concern this company. Never got my money back, even after repeatingly pulling their sleeve.

So I basically handed them €50 in product for free, to resell. Not worth taking legal action over, which I assume they know.

Never again

Never again. After messaging their sister company i was told i could buy the kite i wanted through this website.
I was sent a different kite to what was ordered and shown on the website which didn't seem to bother them. After a few emails, a couple of them rudely worded by them, i involved Paypal. I have recieved the refund issued by PayPal one month after the initial purchase.

Good delivery, miserable after-sales service

The order arrived quick, nice and complete. However, when the control bar appeared different than in other images and instructions from the manufacturer, it had a fixed setting which to me appeared unreasonable (and showed itself impossible to fly), I send an email requesting support. A month later, I sent a reminder. Two weeks later, still no reaction. Of course, I know enough about kites as to be able to find a way around and fly the kite. But that is not the question: the post-sales experience sucks.

Good delivery service, bad after care, terrible kite...

Bought, paid and got it delivered in two days. I have never owned a kite before, but I had to rearrange the kite lines, as the kite killer and the right hand steering lines where reversed on the control bar.
I could not get the kite to fly at all. I tried phoning wepaflyer three times with no answer. I worked out that the cause was that the kite killer was too short causing the kite to fly backwards and of coarse preventing take off. After lengthening the killer I got it too take of and had a pretty good flying kite from then on. Instructions in the kite are fairly mediocre too. They to tell you nothing of, what to tie to what. If you have trouble assembling Swedish furniture from the blue and yellow shop run from buying the Radsail kites...

First of all we're happy to hear that your order was deliverd on time, according to our system it was a saturday delivery, which probably also explains why you couldn't reach us. Unfortunately we're closed during the weekend so we weren't able to answer your call. You can always give us a call on weekdays between 9 AM and 5 PM, or just mail your question to info@wepaflyer.nl

As for the Radsails kite, we're sorry to hear that you've experienced some troubles with getting the kite to fly. Radsails is one of our best selling brands, and overall we get some pretty good feedback on all the Radsails kites, but of course that's for every kiter to decide for himself. It seems that you solved your problem in a creative manner, so we hope that you'll still have some fun with your kite! If you're thinking about switching to another brand in the future though you're always welcome to come back.
