Brilliant customer service Fernanda P.
I cannot thank enough the brilliant customer service that Fernanda P. (ES) delivered in the recent months. By mistake I lost our domain (steppingmexico.com) but she kindly helped me and went the extra mile by setting up a reminder for herself. Yesterday she contacted me to let me know the domain had already been released, therefore I could finally get it back.
I had honestly had some bad experiences with the customer service, but she completely changed my point of view and I am really happy with webnode.

Webnode is a Ripoff company.
I received a free domain with a hosting account through webnode. A year later (having not used the hosting account for most of it) I asked to have the hosting account discontinued (but not the domain). I received a reply from webnode that said I could not keep just the domain although I recently renewed it. I have to maintain a hosting account to keep the domain. I replied that I want the domain unlocked and codes sent to me so I can transfer it to another registrar. If they won't allow that, I don't know what I'll do. Will lose the domain name in about a month when the hosting expires. This is outrageous. I have worked in the web industry for nearly 25 years and never have I found such an unaccountable/unscrupulous company. The damage this could cause is incalculable. My next step is to reach out to ICANN. Trust me, Webnode, you keep my domain name, you will never be free from my pen.

Great template but extremely horrible customer support…
Okay first of all you guys indeed deserve 10 stars but the state of your customers support has leave me with no choice but to give you guys one star. Am pro web developer with lots of clients and damn tired of getting my fingers dirty with coding and decided to go for your plaform since WordPress is a bit complex too particularly when you got lots of clients anticipating their site. I actually fall in love with your site base on how clean and professional it's but honestly your customer support push me off even before I could think of going for any of your plans. days no response whata heck!!! You guys really need to improve really this is awfully bad👎 I can't even creat a new site or change my template it's just keep loading😡

Not Letting Me Create Site PLEASE Help Do Not Ignore!!
At first, I was able to create beautiful sites. I loves it. All the features and the design. But one day, I was going on Webnode as usual and created a project. I named it, then it asked me to fill recaptcha. So If filled it, and a green tick appeared. I proceeded but the same screen kept on coming up. I clicked on CREATE WEBSITE so many times that it said this:
"Creation of new project failed. This might be caused by owning too many inactive projects or we detected an attack from your computer. Please try to register the project again in a few minutes or contact our support!"
I only own 1 project and it's not inactive. AND I AM NOOOOOT A BOT OR A HACKER HOW AM I ATTACKING PEOPLE??????? PLEASE help me PLEEEEAAASSSEEE

The website creation can be easy and done in few days, wheres to make the website popping up in search results takes some time and effort (which is called "Search engine optimisation" = SEO).
It is very important to work on the good quality content of the website. If you don't want to be bothered by technicalities, you can simply focus on good quality texts because those are very the basic.

building the website was the easy bit- The problems started when adding an email address. for ease of use, I decided to transfer over the domain name I wish i had never bothered. 5 days they still don't work on Mac Mail or Thunderbird their support system is not fit for purports, they come back with the same answers they do read and then they don't reply we paid for the premium service there is none. now thinking of just ditching the whole thing after 2 weeks of building the site - I will be speaking to the credit card company to get our money back it's a shame you can't sue them for the time taken. (BEWARE IF YOU MOVING YOUR SITE HERE) since the posting website not worked for 2 days with Ooops! there been a slip up some left banana peel on the E-Road so no access to our email or website
Last week yo balmed Thundibird and took a 1 and 2 each time to respond now today you're blaming Safri for us not being able to amend the website even though this problem only appeared after posting a review. and the email details don't work in Mail Mac either

When it comes to your mailboxes, they are 100% functional from our webmail. In the case of e-mail clients such as Mozilla etc. all it takes is a tiny mistake made while setting up the account and then it doesn't work correctly. When it is difficult to identify the issue, simply deleting the account from the e-mail client and setting it up once again should help.
Your website is loading correctly. As you confirmed in our e-mail communication - when choosing a different browser, it loaded to you as well. So now we just need to identify why it is not loading in Safari.
In case you would like to cancel your website and get a refund, please let me know in the e-mail communication.

Scam
Extremely slow and unhelpful replies from the customer support team.
They have scammed me. It has taken 4 days for them to send me the instructions on attaching my domain.
I have lost put on a lot of money as they won't send me the correct information.
I will be now asking for my full refund and will not be carrying on with this website at all.
