Do not use if you think you will need customer services support. It is none existent

Really the worst webhost for business. They are embarrassingly amateur, and they have no idea what they are doing. Stay away from webnode!

Ive been trying for 2 weeks to design a website using this platform. Many times ive had issues but their customer service which claims to respond within 24 hours days and days am still waiting. The simplest of actions cant be done on their website. Forget using webnode they also fall under shopify useless and completely inept.

Well I’ve tried for three days to get answers before I purchased a plan. Well if they won’t answer you to help you purchase a plan, I don’t think they will be they after you purchase. Too many good places with people who will contact you immediately to buy from. My suggestion, go to them and not webnode hosting service

The customer support refuses to delete my website, so my phone number is publicly available, which breaches my privacy. I created this website using Webnode ages ago, when I was a child, with my phone number on the home page, but then I forgot the password. Their customer service is very strict and stubborn, and they refuse to help me.

Do NOT buy from them. Customer support takes days to reply and provide answers for help. Then they take your money and delay transfers to other domains. They are very unethical and break rules/laws.

Impossible to transfer my domain from Webnode. The customer service takes several days to answer and when they finally do answer they don't answer my initial request.
This has happened several times, every time I need to change something on my website I have to go through customer support.
This is ridiculous. I have my own domain and can't even access it!

Poor customer service with a very unprofessional team with no client orientation.
They try to create a Cloud platform and there are many infrastructure updates. Therefore, clients and customers cannot reach the websites from the browser, I cannot edit and access my own website.
They are copying data to Cloud without the customers consent. There are technical problems always, and it cannot be solved. I hope they will go bankrupt forever!
They dont want to give back your money after 15 days affter paying, but they cannot provide service either. The temporary problems are continuous and make impossible to access and edit your website.
They also cannot tell how long will they cloud platform updating take.
Beware it folks, you pay for nothing.

I have used Webnode for over a year. I initially found it easy to work with and the templates were fine for my purposes. At the point of annual subscription, I received email notifications from Webnode letting me know that my premium account would automatically renew and my card would be charged. The email also said that no further action was needed on my part. Great, I was happy with their services, so I let the subscription renew. However, shortly after this point, my domain stopped working and was replaced with a message saying the web address had expired. I immediately emailed customer service, who told me that my domain had been allowed to lapse and I would therefore have to pay a "recovery fee" of 39.90 GBP, which would then increase to 99.90 GBP if I waited more than 42 days before paying. I never received any notification that this would happen, although the customer service rep insisted I had been emailed. As I did receive their other renewal messages ("no further action is needed"), I doubt this is true. It seems much more likely, at this point, that Webnode is deliberately misleading their customers in order to extract unnecessary and extraneous payments, a form of ransom. Whether or not it's legal, this is a predatory and disreputable business model and I would not recommend Webnode as a service provider.

The worst host and website creator ever. All the websites have errors monthly, so your users cannot access them. Also, when you contact them they either don't respond even if you buy a premium plan with a 48-hour response, or they are ignoring you. After you send many messages, they say simply the problem has been solved, even if it isn't.
Besides, sometimes the website is blocked, and you can't add content. If you want to create a website, please in any way don't try the service. You will end your business or personal website once you start with them.

i have an old website and business and cant login to my email and they refused to erase my name and personal mobile so will have to contact the data commissioner as they are refuse to help

Hello, I’ve purchased a “limited plan” which they promoted as I can personalize my domain and with more storage. But nothing has changed. It has been just for one day but reading all these bad reviews, I’m afraid to lose money and get nothing. Hope it’s not gonna happen. Please contact me back Webnode Customer Service. Thank you.

I am in Norway and I found the Customer Service response quite fast. Having said that: I was never able to forward the e-mails on my domain to my gmail account and, worst of all: I could not undo changes I made on my computer to the site, even if I hadn't published the changes. A complete page was gone by wanting to delete one picture. No way back. Checked with Customer Service: not possible to revert. Bummer.

I can't believe they let you build a website this good for free. It's so easy to use, the user interface is beautifully simple. We used this as an information portal for our wedding, where we put all the information the guests needed to know. There's even a very good and easy way for them to RSVP! My website was accidentally flagged during routine screenings (to keep the users safe) and I just contacted them via email and the issues were resolved very quickly. I think the trigger might have been the baby photos I uploaded of myself and my partner as a cute backstory page. I really don't mind the site being temporary shut down just to make sure it's nothing shady going on, taken into account that we're talking about photos of children!

If I had the need for a website for my job, side hustle or hobby, I would definitely seriously consider paying for the full version.

Avoid them!
They have hidden fees.
They retained our domain for 93 days, and asked us to pay £106.98 for a year, only for the domain!

The site did not perform to my expectations so I moved to another platform. As the end of my years subscription neared I received multiple emails letting me know that if I didn't renew I would lose my site.
Since I was no longer using the service I did not renew.
Imagine my surprise when I was charged for another year despite verifying in my account that there was no renewal pending.
When I immediately asked for a refund (within 5 minutes of the charge notice) I received an email stating that I could prevent future charges but no refunds would be given.
The only way to prevent this company from fraudulently charging your credit card is to never use them in the first place.

The worst idea in the world to create a website. I recommend any host, thousands of times more useful. I am still sorry that I gave 150 euros for their services, which I quickly gave up, although they did not return the money. The traffic limit is much too low. Host your sites on Hostinger or other popular companies that offer ten times more than webnodes offer at decent prices. Don't be naive and don't believe in fake reviews on sites written to attract customers.
