Unhelpful when overseas

When you are overseas and you have trouble with a booking through Webjet, you are on your own. I contacted them on line from Vietnam, and they are slow and unhelpful. They never follow up to see if they can offer more assistance, just a bland not enough information, even after all details had been passed on to them.
Will never use them again.

Cannot change flight booking

Very very difficult to change my flight. While being overseas I had to change my flight for a month earlier then anticipated, I tried to contact Webjet via phone and the number would not connect, I also tried numerous of emails and did not receive a response. My friend back home in Australia contacted Webjet for me to try and help me get in contact with them and they turned her down THREE times, (she asked for an international number she can call or if they can respond to an email).
I called Webjet using someone’s phone from the country that I am in and got threw to someone, they said they were able to cancel my flight and rebook for a month earlier. I paid an extra $1800 and they said once the money goes threw they will send me a confirmation email and my new flight details, it has now been SIX days and the money has come out of my account I have not received any confirmation details and when I look at my old flight details and has said it has now been canceled. I have sent numerous more emails and have not yet got a response..
I would not at all recommend using Webjet.

More interested in how much Webjet could rip us off for Just anoher mob of Scumbags Extortionist.✊️ Make the ATO and Banks look like 🧚‍♂️ Fairy God Mothers.
We booked 4 seats to Gold Coast mid this month but my oldest son has a medical procedure that day So my wife asked can we just change the name off the ticket holder to me.
SHOCK HORROR. Over $400 to do this for return flights Yet return flights cost under $100. OK Let's cancel the seat we thort they have plenty off time to re sell it OH Mam that will be NO REFUND plus $126
So you can see this team off Ned's Kelly's Maits have a good business going
BUT I work for a Major Australian Tool distributor we flys staff all over the world and Australia booking with Webjet.Our Itinerary management just call and say Can you change a booking or someone else is flying and it's done free off change. I Suppose Webjet won't be surprised when after our monthly meeting I will have they them removed from our preferred vendors list.
See Webjet One Bad can cost a business over 100k a year but you will have more time to come up with ways off ripping off customer with Outrageous charges and how to train CSRs to cold and uncaring and demonstrate how much money they can make for you for customers misfortune or suffering.

The reply from Webjet below demonstrates how much they care about private customers So If you want to deal with an uncaring purely profit based mob of Ned's maits then by all means throw your money away. AFTER our MD read this he has removed Webjet from out vendors list..But Webjet don't care just reply to your concerns with a standardized answer.
A Fair and reasonable charge that truly reflects Webjets staff work input to make a name change or cancelation, given they are likely to re sell seat would be acceptable but to be robed for 3 minutes work on a terminal is plain unacceptable to any reasonable human.

Think twice about using Webjet

I recently had to change my return overseas flight which i booked through Webjet. I always take out travel insurance and i did the same this time around. So, when i had to change my return flight i thought this would not be a problem. I gave Webjet more than the required 8 days’ notice, via email, that i would NOT be travelling back on my original booked flight.
Upon my return to Australia, I put in my insurance claim. The claim was partly denied because Webjet listed me as a ‘no show’. I was listed as a 'NO SHOW' (even though i had proof i sent them an email of my change of flight plans). Webjet claim i did not respond to an important email they sent me (after I emailed them about the change) and therefore i am not entitled to my full refund.
Webjet send so many junk emails, how is a customer supposed to distinguish between what is HIGHLY important and what is not, especially when you’re travelling overseas with limited internet access.
This 'no show' has cost me over $1000. I can understand if I was a NO SHOW but I gave them the required notice that I would not be travelling back on the original booked flight.
I’m going to think twice about using Webjet again.

Did not facilitate a refund

Did not facilitate a refund when my flight was cancelled. Instead offered me a voucher which can only be redeemed if I rebook with their service.
Also note, I do not need to book with the same airline. I have contacted the airline directly and they have refunded the money to Webjet. It is Webjet who have held the funds and require me to rebook with their booking service.

Would not place any stars if it were…

Would not place any stars if it were possible. Webjet has being terrible to deal with regarding our flight refund and I would not recommend the service. They have pocketed $1050 of our money and offered no service. The customer representative was quite frankly abrupt and disinterested. We have been left deflated but not defeated. I recommend using someone else or direct with the airline. I might also add when trying to lodge a complaint to web jet in order to be taken seriously while following the instructions of local ACCC I was informed they did not have a complaints department as such only a place to lodge feedback.

Skillful navigation of My Aircraft.

I have flown on 4 occasions recently and I wanted to compliment the Pilots and Crews for their expert flying skills, empathy in helping me lift up cabin baggage, and with a smile. It is great to have confidence I will arrive on time and the staff are attentive and friendly.
