No star if that was an option- fraudsters
No star if that was an option…
Stolen my money for a cancelled event. Promising everyone refunds and it’s been 2 months and I still have not received mine? Also charging us service fee for what service?
It seems a lot of people are in the same boat as me and it’s not fair. Everyone stay away from these fraudsters- they need to be shut down.
Fraud & scam
Have never received a refund back for cancelled event in May 2024.
They sent an email saying that refunds will be proceeded within 10 working days.
Well, nothing happened.
Contacted We Are Fstvl directly and received no response.
Contacted Paylogic / SeeTickets (their ticket service providedr) - received response again about 10 days, but 10 days passed and there’s no refund.
Do not deal with both We Are Fstvl and their ticket provider Paylogic or SeeTickets - it looks like they both fraudulent.
Service fee for a cancelled event
This event was ment to take place the 25th-26th may, it was cancelled four weeks before hand due to rain?? So seven weeks ago, was told on the 10th of may it’ll take 30 days to process and then a further 5-10 working days to go through, it’s now the 21st of June and have been told it’ll take an extra 10 working day and they’re taking a service fee, how can you take a service fee when no tickets where delivered. Due to yous cancelling so last minute I’ve lost out on money from the hotel and travel and yous want to take more money. Absolute scam, would advise not too book next year in case it might rains
STAY AWAY FROM WEAREFSTVL
I booked VIP tickets for Wearefstvl for 25th May this year (2024).
They cancelled the whole event two weeks prior to the festival date.
I have lost £370.00 in accommodation costs and I only booked this close to the event date, unfortunately on a non refundable price as it was so close to the event date.
I have had notification of a refund of the ticket value, although I have not received this payment to date, they just keep saying you’ll have it in 10 days, which they’ve said a few times now and it’s now 21st June 2024, so still nothing 6 weeks after notification of cancellation, and they even tried to direct me to the refund protection insurance that I’d paid for, when clearly I wouldn’t be covered by them as THEY cancelled their own event!
I paid £44.40 in service fees, of which there has been no mention of a refund and I also paid for refund protection at a cost of £24.05 which also has not been refunded. They are only acknowledging the face value ticket price. Needless to say I am furious that Wearefstvl, see fit to try to refund £370.00 instead of the £438.45 that I actually paid out to purchase the tickets.
I believe that there was never an intention for the event to go ahead and this was just for their cash flow.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
They cancelled the festival last minute…
They cancelled the festival last minute and are dragging their heels on a refund. Seems to be a running theme
Absolute joke
Absolute joke. Cancelled festival by email, missed it as went into my junk. Didn’t post anything on social media. Waiting months and months for a refund. Still not received. Wasted £500 on a hotel I don’t need. Will never book with them again.
Poorly organised and very dirty festival
Despite a good lineup and some good music, the overall experience was very poor. Obviously poorly organised. Toilets were absolutely filthy and not cleaned once the entire day. VIP area was a joke and also never cleaned. Sunday was very quiet and some of the arenas were empty most of the day even with some good DJ’s playing, seriously lacking a vibe and felt like a flop festival. Drinks were pathetic. Have been before and this year felt they’ve gone seriously downhill. We left early so shuttle bus was actually fine, although the location is rubbish. Trains stopped just after 11pm being Sunday so if you actually did stay to the end you’d get back to Upminster station and have no way of getting home.
Total disregard for people’s safety
I have never been to a festival that was so badly organised and had a total disregard for people’s safety.
The bus system to/from Upminster was a total nightmare, queues were dangerous and seriously over crowded. The real issue was how the whole queue system was managed on entry, the barrier / queue system didn’t work in how it was laid out and the flow of people wasn’t being controlled properly and people could have easily been crushed. It took us over 90 mins to get in, it was so disorganised and the security seemed more worried about taking vapes off people than anything else.
When I emailed the organisers with feedback, they replied saying they were sorry it took us a while to get in, at peak times queues generally are longer and completely ignored the points I raised about safety which just goes to show how they don’t care.
We left early because of how awful it was getting in and friends who stayed an extra 30 mins said it took them over 2 hours to get back to the station.
Don’t bother! Absolute s***show!
Fyre Festival?
1.5h queues to get in, nonsense staff, bottles and can on the dancefloor, no ar circulations on tne stages, really nasty bathrooms, warm drinks minimum 7 pounds, the whorst most desorganized exit I ever seen, crowded, crushed and pushed to the bus, no dignity on this festival.
DANGEROUS AND LYING ABOUT VIP/ No DISABLED HELP/
Lying about VIP/ no disabled help/
I attended we are festival for the first time on Saturday, the 26th of August upon entering the festival it was chaotic and disorganised. I was told that I wouldn’t have to queue because I had a disability access pass.
However this was not the case when I arrived and I had to stand for ages in the normal queue which made my disability worse.
They were also taking disposable Vapes from people and making you buy in the venue?
I paid extra money for a vip ticket so I had extra peace of mind of having a clean toilet with paper for my disability and also not having to queue.
They only had two vip toilets on wheels and all the rest of vip was blue portaloos two of which apparently were for disabled customers. However, there was no disabled signs on them and everybody was using these toilets. I couldn’t use them because there was a wee and poo everywhere and other people waiting for them who were not disabled.
When I asked staff where the allocated disabled toilet was none of them were able to tell me, I asked them to call management so that we could find it. However, nobody knew who or where management even was!
The VIP ticket also stated that there was a comfy seating area so I thought this would be really good when I need a rest later on in the afternoon again there was no seating at all just grass. I don’t know what I actually paid extra money for because there was nothing that was on the VIP advert at the festival in the VIP area.
Later on went back to use the toilet in the VIP area and it had run out of paper. There was no water or soap to clean your hands and there was sanitary towels and dirty knickers on the floor I’ve never seen anything like it they were not posh loos as described in their add! I asked security if they could find cleaners or management to come and restock the bathroom so that I could make use of it. Once again they didn’t know who to ask, and during the whole event the toilets were not cleaned once, and I have attached a photo of the so-called posh loos which I paid extra for.
I finally found the disabled toilet myself later on in the evening, but this had no toilet paper in it, and when I asked the chap that was minding the area if he could call management to restock or cleaners to come and clean, it just put his head down on the floor and ignored me.
My bowel condition means that when I need to go to the toilet I need to go 😳 I was just so shocked that this was the disabled toilet and this was how they treat disabled customers. I said to him please can you restock with some toilet paper and he then replied there is no toilet paper. I said what you’re telling me there’s no toilet paper in his whole festival to stock up the disabled toilet and he just looked at me and shrugged his shoulders.
My friend and I decided to leave the event at 11 as we were getting fed up. Most of the partygoers had started to leave to. They had not signposted how to get out of the event so people were walking miles across the fields to car parks that had dead ends, or no way out bearing in mind, I have fibromyalgia this traipsing around they really didn’t care about people with disabilities. The staff then barricaded us in with metal railings and would not let anyone out of the site.
There was no organisation for the pick up and drop off point it was chaotic and dangerous people started climbing over the metal railings because they wouldn’t let us out and we had to walk onto the country Road which was pitch black with cars coming in both directions, Why was this allowed to happen?
I have tried looking online on companies house for information to contact the directors of this festival. jamescohen and Mr David Lee company directors. Email address online
I have called trading standards today and they said I can make a charge back to my bank card and they will be investigating all these complaints as it’s false advertising and dangerous. They have said I can request for damages.
I can’t believe that they’ve even been allowed another license to have a festival in May next year.
There was no thought for safety
There was no thought for safety, so many people left not being able to get home. No phone signal to get a taxi or to locate lost friends. Security is a joke as nobody knows what is going on. People kept passing the buck. Nobody at the festival to take responsibility for any kind of organisation or support when needed. Drinks are ludicrously expensive and not even premium drinks for the price. Lots of thefts and fights with no repercussions
Shockingly amateurish/VIP total RIP OFF - AVOID
Shockingly amateurish, minimal Road Traffic Plan, grid locked just trying to get near it, people leaving cars in droves and walking, then cattle herded through security with lots of waiting around, search and screening a tick box as young kids with no clue. We paid for VIP and got a so called Gold Band, what a rip off, the Pretty Little Thing VIP area was hideous! cocktails £8 a can which were just full of sugar and hardly any alcohol, tried to order multiple different ones but they had sold out of so many, so asked for G&T to be told they had run out of tonic, it was 4pm on the Sat!!!! Thought we’d sit down on the pink bean bags under a large tent, only to told, we had to stand as only Pink wristbands can SIT, OMG seriously! So we had all of 5 pink picnic benches to sit on and that was it… so had to stand… food was dyer, I really don’t call “Dirty Fries” and burgers and hotdogs street food… then don’t get me on the “posh” loos, poor cleaners had their work cut out, disgusting, I went in a cleaner Portaloo later on in the main arena…. If it wasn’t for the Prodigy, who were AMAZING, I would have left. Talking of leaving the so called “taxi rank” pickup was a total and utter shambles an dangerous, no one directing, or even trying to organise hundreds of people all walking amongst cars driving at various speeds in all directions! There was no traffic system at all, cars were coming from 2 directions which ground to a halt within minutes… everyone getting angry and no one you could ask. Took 2 hours to even find our cab then 1 hour to leave as still gridlocked at 1am!! Tbh this festival is a rip off, no hint of a Traffic Management Plan or anyone looking like they were taking charge… avoid at all costs, will never go again! Leave running a festival to the professionals, just awful experience! VIP gold wristbands was daylight robbery, old Macdonalds Farm off M25 looks more impressive!
Decent acts and good sound but terrible and unsafe transport arrangements
Some decent acts and different spaces, and good sound system on the main stage. The Prodigy were fantastic. But the transport arrangements were a complete shambles and unsafe. No organisation of the shuttle buses leaving after the festival to return us to Upminster station, and nowhere near enough buses. There were no set places for the buses to pick people up so it was a free for all with thousands of people crushing against the buses, with some people panicking about getting trampled. It felt really unsafe, with no presence of any stewards to help organise things. In the crush we got separated from our friend just behind us who had to wait another 90 minutes to get on a bus, by which time the tube had stopped running. On our journey home everyone we met was slagging off the organisation of the festival, and lots of people had given up on the buses and had to walk several miles to the station on unlit roads. I've never seen such badly organised and dangerous transport arrangements for a festival. I doubt they'll get their licence renewed next year due to the safety issues.
What an absolute waste of money this…
What an absolute waste of money this festival was. First we arrive to find out that half of the acts have been cancelled that we were expecting to see, absolute scam!!! Then secondly the price of the drinks. £14 for a double vodka red bull is absolutely ridiculous when majority of people here are youngsters or uni students. I was at Parklife last month and the same drink was £10, much more reasonable. Will never be attending this crap festival again
Literally the worst we are fstvl to date
Literally the worst we are fstvl to date. Drinks prices were a joke - £10.00 for a non alcoholic slushie from an ice cream van. Then 3 for £20 for a 250ml ready mixed cocktail can which you can get for £1.99 each at a bargain booze. Absolute robbery. Bar staff deliberately getting the order wrong so they could charge me more for the same amount of drinks - charged me £40 odd for 3 pornstar slushies and a bottle of water when I clearly asked for 2. Then just waving the card machine at me hoping I wouldn’t notice the price until I questioned it and then the bar staff claimed she ‘made a mistake’… probably happened to a lot of people throughout the day who were unaware of what was happening whilst the staff were clearly trying to take advantage of intoxicated customers. On top of that, apart from Afterlife and Deborah De Luca who were amazing, the music was literally the worst I’ve ever heard after previous years of attending we are fstvl (2017-2018) when you had the likes of Eric Prydz and Carl Cox actually playing his choice of music rather than being restrained to the Circoloco label! Adam Beyers set sounded like some randomer was wearing a mask of his and playing tunes completely off brand. After seeing Adam Beyer loads of times including at awakenings this was not his style at all. No recognisable signature music at all from a DJ considered to be basically royalty. Toilets were minimal for a festival of this size which meant you would witness people pissing and vomiting wherever they wanted - even at the back of one of the tents. The toilets that were there were really poorly maintained, they were revolting. When we were leaving staff were completely useless - we were staying in Dartford and got told to get a shuttle bus.. no shuttle busses were even going to Dartford! One guy told us to grab a taxi when we see one, another guy told me all the taxis were pre-booked only. We had to walk over a mile on the road (no pavement or lighting) against traffic, almost being hit by cars, multiple times, to finally wave a cab down. Overall this was a really bad experience, it seems like the funding has been severely cut from this festival - the production was so poor and the maps were totally inaccurate. Charging £120 odd a ticket for a weekend festival of this poor calibre in my honest opinion is robbery. Will not be attending ever again.
BEWARE!!!!
BEWARE!!!!! THIS COMPANY ARE THIEF’S!!!!! Our booking got cancelled due to covid reasons but the event still went ahead, so they got there money and more, as they done a resale of rooms, this company will NOT refund you your money! Even though they promise to refund you the full amount paid in writing too!!!! They will just constantly ignore your emails!!!!! ABSOLUTELY ROBBERY!!!!! We are owed £3000.. Sadly after only just reading over reviews, it’s been done year after year to so many people! THIS IS DISGUSTING AND THIS COMPANY NEED INVESTIGATING AND SHUTTING DOWN!!!!!! How can you do this to people…
DO NOT USE POLLEN / WE ARE
Originally wrote a review back in October when I didn't attend the 'we are festival - Mexico' as I couldn't attend due to the restrictions to then be told I couldn't get a refund. So I wrote a review on here - to then receive a phone call and I was promised a full refund.
This was back in October, I was advised it would be 90 days then I was told my claim had been escalated to receive this faster, as it's nearly £3000 am I needing back. I sent an email earlier this week, to now find out I won't be receiving this until February??
I would not advise booking any sort of experience through pollen as originally I couldn't attend due to the restrictions which I saw from a discrimination point of view
This is the review from October -
I am appalled at the service pollen are providing me with. I booked this package at the start of the year, knowing it was COVID Protected.
On the website it states if a quarantine rule is in place 6 weeks prior to travel, as my self and my party are not fully vaccinated, myself due to health reasons. We would have to quarantine on the return to the UK for 2 weeks. Which to me and my bank who I have been in contact with as a quarantine rule.
The fact that, due to been unvaccinated due to health and person reasons is now been held against me by a company who promised a covid protected package on the time of purchase is disgusting, in my eyes this is discrimination of the vaccinated and unvaccinated or even discrimination on health issues due to been unvaccinated.
Furthermore, the contact to speak to anyone from pollen is non existence, I speak on the live chat to get ignored or the chat ended. There's no contact number, and the email's clearly don't get monitored.
I have been sold a package which is not up to standard-
1. there is a quarantine rule in place on the return to uk
2. Due to been unvaccinated we are been discriminated against
3. No port of contact to raise these issues without been ignored
All I have been offered me a credit voucher for the full price of the package to use on another pollen trip, I would never use pollen again for all the above reasons.
If i could score lower i would this is…
If i could score lower i would this is the worst and most slowest company i have ever dealt with in my life and cause you utter anxiety with bookings and dealings they are not helpful what so ever tell you one thing one day and another the next worst company ever would never have dealings with them again would advise against all bookings with them do not ever book, this is the worst company i have ever come across slow rude, dont know what they are doing tell you diffrent thing's every time you contact them and tell y ou you have to wait a long time for refunds however other people have already got there reufnds and not waiting. awful vile company.
Nothing but good memories
Every year that I go We Are Fstvl, I've never had a bad time. Great vibes, great people and so much fun with friends. Always one that I'm looking out for each year and never fails to deliver!
Always a 5* experience at WE R FSTVL
Always a 5* experience at WE R FSTVL! Super fan since day 1, I love how this festival evolves and keeps “current”…..
Was lucky enough to be “XSCLV” this year and wasn’t disappointed! In fact all the areas were very well thought out….
DJs and music was banging made life long memories “raving” yes I said RAVING with my pals 🎉🎉
COVID QUEUE: Was frustrating I know it’s a necessary evil but maybe should have been better thought out? Being squashed next to unknowns shoulder to shoulder didn’t seem very COVID safe, and it was a delay getting in that I could of done without especially as I have a COVID PASSPORT and had a negative PCR…..
Suggestions: Mosquito spray, and maybe blankets in XSCLV seating areas as they are such wicked chill outs but little tweaks could help 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Upminster or Dagenham??? Both are good but one is great 😜
Can’t wait for next year I’m already buzzing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
