Inaccessible and Disrespectful Learning Experience
I recently took the online marketing course by Basecamp Skills and it was a terrible experience. I informed them of my ADHD beforehand, expecting some accommodation. Instead, the course format was chaotic, with information scattered throughout the day, making it impossible to follow.
Despite asking for daily summaries to help manage my ADHD, I was criticised for not keeping up and eventually asked to leave. This reaction was deeply disrespectful and discriminatory. ADHD is a recognised disability, and their failure to accommodate it highlights a serious issue within the organisation.
Basecamp Skills clearly does not value inclusivity or accessibility. I strongly advise against enrolling in any of their courses until they address these fundamental issues.
