I couldn’t recommend Waters and Sons highly enough in our family’s time of need. I discovered them through a Google search the night before my Mum passed, and was completely wracked with anxiety about entrusting her to an unknown environment. However, I need not have worried as right from the beginning, until the day of the funeral, David and his team provided an excellent service which was full of care and compassion. The support and guidance given really did make a difficult time all the more bearable. Thank you.

Waters & Sons are extremely professional company who care passionately about offering the highest level of service to their customers. In my case they dealt with all aspects of my mothers funeral. They were very helpful, offered advice and recommendations which made the service something very special and personalised to the family. I would highly recommend both Jason and Simon who helped us considerably. They recommend Martyn Douglas to be the minster for the service and you could not have wished for a kinder more sympathetic minster who captured the moment perfectly. Simon, Louise and Tracey (Portchester branch) have provided a personal, professional and compassionate service. I cannot fault this company or thank them enough for making the most difficult time as stress free as possible. The team cannot do enough for you and I cannot recommend them enough. Fabulous!

From the moment I notified Waters and Sons of my wife’s passing, they were incredibly professional and compassionate. They informed me when they had collected my wife from the hospice, and were caring for her in their chapel. Becky guided me through the paperwork process and showed great warmth and compassion to myself and my sons, which was very comforting. Their communication was very good, by phone or email, and when we spoke face to face, which removed a lot of stress from the whole process.
On the day of the service, Simon Waters and his team were extremely respectful to my wife and her next of kin, which helped to put us at ease.
Martyn Douglas was the celebrant and he delivered the service in the way we wanted it to be delivered, helping to turn a sad time into the celebration of life that we, and my wife, wanted.
Waters and Sons were professional, compassionate and supportive in all ways and I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

This funeral director made the process so simple and stress free for us. I chose them after listening to others about the impersonal service received by large companies. You really do get a personal service and nothing is too much trouble for Waters & Sons. They arranged for the Funeral Celebrant (Dawn Traer) who was just lovely, helpful and compassionate. She guided us through everything on day and gave such a lovely service that I would recommend her to anyone. Im so pleased we asked Waters & Sons to arrange a funeral for us.

I would like to say a massive thank you to Simon, Alison, David and the team at Waters and Sons, Sholing. It wasn’t an easy time when mum passed away, but it gave myself and my family peace of mind to know she was being cared for by you. Your kindness and compassion made it all easier to bear and your professionalism throughout, especially on the day of the funeral was first class. Thanking all the wonderful compassionate staff for making the booking of my late fathers Cremation possible.
Never having arranged such a matter I was lost, not knowing what to do.
The service given by Sholing Branch was lovely.
The Funeral Planner Alison, listened and assisted and together we worked through what I wanted ... even though when I arrived I hadn't any idea.

The whole process was dealt with professionally, with care and I believe great pride that only comes from a family run Business.

I would not hesitate in recommending Waters and Sons ... they helped me achieve what I felt at the time, would be unachievable.

I personally can't thank Tracey enough for the care and compassion in the way that she dealt with my sister's funeral arrangements (Zoe Awcock) She went above and beyond to deal with my sister's husband and our requests. You could tell from the time we met that she was passionate about her job which put us all at ease... A credit to the company.. And I truly thank her for that ..

Excellent service. Very professional., i fully recommend Simon and his great staff , they took lots of time making sure we were all happy with the arrangements and were there at every step for us

I was recommended to Waters & Sons. I was not disappointed Simon,Alison and Joanne gave me all the care and support I needed to make my husband's funeral arrangements. They were all so caring nothing was to much trouble. Also a big thank you to Martyn Douglas for the service he conducted for Paul it was exactly what I wanted.
