I have been looking for an IWC mark XV for years and watchfinder just got it in stock and description told it is come with box and with t dial. It was a bit overpriced but if it had been serviced by Richmont Group it is still a good deal.

I have raised a trade-in using my fullset Glashutte Original Senator with some extra money. They offered a quite good initial quote but ending up a below the range offering. Cannot imagined how a three hands watch without date running under cosc standard could cost that much repairing fee as they claims. But the final offer is still acceptable but not just that happy as the beginning.

The rule is you have to pay half of the full price or accept the trade-in to hold the watch otherwise it could be sold any second. I have accepted the deal and after 2 weeks finally got it in their store. I knew there would be not turning back as once I accepted the offer my GO will be belonging to them and I had also taken a look on other choice, but sadly all others are super overpriced, how’s this possible their second hand watches are more expensive than brand new watches.

When the watches finally arrived after 2 weeks I dashed to their stores. The watch looks good as they had done a full service replacing the glasses.
But the cards, receipt, proof of repair are all photocopies and they claimed there is no original. The buckle condition is terrible, the outlook is okay after polishing but the lock totally malfunction as it is too loose to “click”. They refused to do any further discount or any compensation to make the trade more fair.

They always claimed you can choose other watches in their database if I am unhappy, or refund, but
1. Sell only offer is much lower than trade-in price
2. Their used watch prices are close or even higher than local retail price

As my initiative is getting the mark XV but refund or other choice put me in a more unfair ground. I had ending up took it home and quite happy with it but I would never try watchfinder again as they are nothing better than a local second hand shop.

Under Richmont Group they should have more resources to make customer happier such as: replacing the buckle or give a spare IWC tang, a real certificate or replacement card. It’s unbelievable that Richmont give client some sheet of photocopies and a faulty buckle.

excellent services and fast delivery. watchfinder has an office in my city and hence i could view and pickup my purchase in person. Their rep Bowie was very professional too. Sure I'll look for my next watch with watchfinder again too.

ok this is my second time to deal with watchfinder, prompt reply, very good product quality, very good sales service....
but the watch selection is quite narrow, even the popular Rolex... even I know it is difficult to source all the watches with satisfactory condition...

Andrew Yip was great in the whole process. He was excellent in sending the watch to Hong Kong for my second viewing even though I was hesitant during the first time viewing. He was honest and trustworthy and very easy to talk with. He give his insight on the watches and others as well. He is simply fantastic! Looking forward to working with him again when he has new Patek Philippe watches for sale.

Great great great great great stuff

Excellent service in Hong Kong - Andrew was really responsive to text messages and very accommodating to my requests.

The watch I wanted wasn't in Hong Kong, so they sent it over from Europe by courier for me to inspect. Photos are very different from seeing the watch in real life! Payment was very easy as well.

The sales representative was super helpful and polite. The process for part exhange taking place in Hong Kong is painful. Waited 8 calendar days 6 working days for a quote. Reason being its a LVMH watch and we need the "exact" service quote to finalize the offer. Inital offer 50 to 55k HKD, ended up 45K HKD. The JLC watch I exchange for is missing original leather strap and replaced with a Hirsch. They said price already reflect. JLC is part of Richemonte but Watchfinder says they cannot help get me a new strap even if I pay for it. So LVMH they cant help, even Richemont brands they also cannot do nothing. I ended up getting a strap at JLC shop in HK, one subway station away, zero wait.

I think Richemont has better plans to make use of WF to maneuver their inventory or simply to offer trade in gimmick at their brand shops. So why bother to open the platform to outside customers and pxxx them off?

Everything goes thru UK. Is UK Richemontes biggest market or is it legacy?

First time deal with Watchfinder (HK), good communication with the professional team. Nice showroom provided privacy environment for exchange inspection. Miss Bowie Lee proactive to keep contact and updated status, arranged smoothly and fast transaction. Really excellent service, another level of purchased experience, highly recommended!

Good points:
Overall Professional experience, high quality time pieces, peace of mind purchase with warranty.

Bad points:
Only work on weekdays 10am - 6:30pm, not ideal if wanting to buy in person.
Diff. of buying remotely and in person was not clearly explained.
Got my name wrong on email. - Ask customer how they are preferred to be addressed!
Limited high quality photos of timepiece.

Received the watch without issue. They helped me order a new strap too. Did take a while though before contact and the website was a little buggy when placing the order.
