I’ve played War Thunder for around a year now and I’ve not had a great time. Premium vehicles are often overpowered, especially those at br 8.0-10.0 such as the t58. This area is also pretty much unpl... See more

Bread go down the drain
i can't see my achievements on the gajin main page, im legally blind.
The economy is in shambles
The game itself is great I've got over 1000 hours in it but the snail got too greedy and now you can't progress even if you buy premium vehicles and a premium account
This games will make you depressed
Gaijin is part of an industry where games have to be made FOR the community. They should be listening to the community to improve their game. But because there are 0 other games that do what War Thunder does, Gaijin has 0 incentive to actually listen to the community. People will keep coming either way.
So here are all my cons of this game:
1. The grind will make you so depressed you will find yourself standing on the ledge of a bridge within a week. So there's a good chance you will never be able to play those modern vehicles you see in the ads. It is borderline false advertising.
2. The devs are outright hostile towards the community. They completely ignore feedback and will do the opposite of what is needed to keep people actually happy.
3. With every update it becomes harder and harder for newcomers to actually get somewhere.
4. Every single part of this game is designed to squeeze money out of your pockets or make you depressed.
Pros:
1. Lots of vehicles which you will never be able to play because of the grind.
2. I guess the graphics are pretty good for how low the recommended system specs are.
I'm not joking when I say that you are better of playing some roblox copy of this game.
This game was once great, but now... it's not.
I use to play this game on console before moving to PC.
Throughout the years I've watched this game go from a fun war game to a grind-fest of the worst kind.
It is quite literally impossible to grind at top tier without a premium account and vehicle.
Not to mention the economy gets worse with each update to the point of the community review bombing the game to get the devs to listen to us.
It's no longer fun to play top tier.
It's no longer fun top play mid tier.
Or even bottom tier.
The blatant bias towards certain countries at the moment is ruining the balance of the game and the fact that some have tech 20 years ahead of all other nations is appalling.
I try to enjoy this game, I really do, but at its current state its not worth the attachment.
If you are going to play War Thunder. Wait for a future update where it gets better. OR don't spend a single dime on this game, even if it feels impossible to continue in your tech tree. It's the only way they will listen to the community.
If you want an alternative games still fun to play for Air - based PvP or PvE; try out VTOL VR or DCS. Both are better time investments. The only time consuming part of those games are learning the aircraft and how they operate.

Do something else with your time and money.
No Longer playable with the economy design. Even for a paying player.
Gaijin Is A Group Of Extortionists Seeking Money
Great game but bad company. devs are great, game is great, but Gaijin screwed it all up in favor of stealing everyone's money. the game has gone from F2P to P2P. the economy is unbearable, and the grind is awful.
Enjoyable in the moment but pointless…
Enjoyable in the moment but pointless overall. impossibly slow progression even with paid bonuses. Premium content is laughably overpriced. I would recommend just not playing unless things change. A good start would be to cut the cost of premium vehicles in half.
A beautiful game down the drain.
Over 1000 hours in this what once was a beautiful game. Now with recent updates and economy changes, things are getting sadly worse and worse. The amount of silver lions per match are usually not enough to repair your own vehicle, thus forcing you not to play or to pay with real money. RP has also gotten less per match, so researching vehicles takes an incredible amount of time. (and thus kind of forcing you to buy premium time or vehicles) It's so sad to see a beautiful game with so much potentional go down the drain by P2W mechanics. And of course, i do understand this is a free to play game and Gaijin does need to make money from somewhere. But in my opinion it's gone to an extreme.
Economy and the game balancing are biased
The game is completely unbalanced. All the western tanks, especially USA are worse than they should be, but russia instead is overpowered. The company is originally from russia so it explains why russia is biased.
Also the game economy is horrible and it makes the game almost impossible to grind without paying.
Don't waste your life on this game.
I wasted 2 years of my life in this game. And exactly when I needed their help and my account was stolen from me by my friend. They closed their eyes on everything and blocked my account.
why just why war thunder
Stop the russian bias and repair the…
Stop the russian bias and repair the economy
Been playing the game since 2016
Been playing the game since 2016; it's not very good. Money grabbing, they want your money and it's overall just not a fun experience. There's this repair cost mechanic that should be removed; the player experience is hostile and the game actively discourages teamwork due to how difficult the grind is.

The economy ruins lives
Economic situation is bad
Economic situation is bad. I played for 250 hours and what do I have?
Tanks rank IV on Germany and planes rank V on Sweden. And 500 000 SL.
Greedy Gaijin
as someone who has played for 10 years, this is one of the best military vehicle simulators on the market that you will never be able to experience. if you are a new player and saw those cool modern day planes/tanks in the ads, you will never be able to play them. you will never be able to play cold war planes/tanks. if you pay an exorbitant amount of money, you might just be able to play late WW2 planes/tanks. Gaijin's capitalist greed has ruined War Thunder and change is needed.
*War Thunder
*War Thunder: A Disappointing Experience for Free-to-Play and Premium Players (people who pay to speed up the grind) Alike*
Unfortunately, War Thunder has let me down as a game that does not provide adequate support for both free-to-play (F2P) and premium players. It is disheartening to see that the company behind this game seems to have lost sight of the fact that the players are the ones who have allowed it to exist in the first place.
Just as YouTubers wouldn't thrive without the support of their viewers, War Thunder's success depends on its loyal player base. However, it appears that the developers have become somewhat oblivious to this reality.
The game's progression system feels heavily based against the players, making it difficult for both F2P and premium players to enjoy the game without feeling of being penalized.
Even though the game has its own redeeming qualities, such as its impressive its immersion without said the complexity, the positive aspects are overshadowed by the lack of support for its players. They need to take this seriously and make changes that will improve the experience for all players, regardless of whether they choose to invest money into the game. (I have payed multiple worths of Triple A Games to be punished like this)
The game has potential, but without competition this game is just a cash grab (I get that companies need to make money) but they need to declare a price for the player willing to pay to avoid the grind because a digital code to get access to a vehicle should not be 70$, But that would be too for sacrificial to them as a greedy corporation.
So iv played warthunder for years now…
So iv played warthunder for years now but compared to most players I’m still relatively new only playing the game for 2 to 3 years but I can still see that they are greedy and incredibly toon deaf always intestinally making the game even more of a grind that it already was, not to mention trying every dirty trick in the book trying to make players think their trying to do better including gaslighting and being condescending. It always comes back to the old saying they take 1 step forward just to take 2 or even 3 steps back. I love the game and want it to do better but do i honestly see that day coming, no.
