This Walgreens pharmacy FAILS!

This Walgreens pharmacy, in Rancho Mirage, Ca. on Dinah Shore, is completely unacceptable. Every visit comes with the same “insurance issues,” even though my prescriptions never change and my insurance confirms they should be fully covered. Yet this location repeatedly fails to bill correctly, forcing me to pay out of pocket. The staff is consistently rude, condescending, and unhelpful, often dismissing legitimate concerns with arrogance. This isn’t just inconvenient—it’s negligent and unprofessional. Let’s not forget to mention trying to get a hold of someone to speak to is virtually impossible. You’re either on hold for long periods of time or you just get hung up on. Corporate should take note: this store is failing its customers in every way. Avoid at all costs.

AWFUL

Walgreens deserves -20 stars. They are so difficult to deal with and their app sucks. I will never EVER do business with them again!

Won me over as a customer

I have been using Walgreen's as my pharmacy for 4 years now since they purchased Rite-Aid in Milton, Vermont. I was leary about doing this because I had bad experiences previously when I lived in Florida. To my surprise they go above and beyond in providing customer service and I plan to continue being a customer as long as I can!

The best thing I can say about my…

The best thing I can say about my Walgreens is that everyone in the pharmacy cares the same about customer service, and that is not at all. I would recommend you find another pharmacy if you have important medications.

My prescription was sent to Walgreen…

My prescription was sent to Walgreen pharmacy in Clarksville Delaware. The pharmacist decided to act like a doctor and not fill my pain medication. Even though the doctors office sent it, she decided she was the judge, the jury and the surgeon. She demanded dates and information that my doctors office refused to give as protection to my Personal information I went three days while they sat on my prescription. Finally I went up and discussed it with her. I showed her the arthritic the scars and told her I was on complete disability. She refused to fill my prescription, even after my doctor had faxed pretty much everything that needed to be done , she still refused wanting personal dates and information after going there and speaking with her I realize she was a heartless, non-compassionate piece of garbage. I told her I’m an extreme pain and I may have to go to the ER. She said I can’t do this, so the next day I contacted my Doctor/surgeon. They sent the prescription as my request to another pharmacy right down the street and they filled it immediately. I don’t know who this woman thinks she is. She is not the judge. She is not the jury and by far she is no doctor she had no right to put me in that amount of pain and I’m dealing with this right now. In this matter is far from over again it’s the pharmacist female I will name her later after speaking to the proper authorities on how she thought she could judge and decide I have never had this problem in years until I dealt with Walgreen pharmacy in Clarksville Delaware on route 26

Discharged from hospital on a Friday

Discharged from hospital on a Friday, scripts called in to Wal-greens.
One script filled, one not, pharmacy to contact Dr. on Wednesday I contacted Wal-greens for an update, they’ve done everything that is required and I have no script. Worthless customer service for someone in post-surgery recovery

No stars would be appropriate. They advertise they can print from your phone, scan a code from an online label, but they cannot. They can make me purchase an envelope, they didn’t have any FedEx ones, MADE me buy that first before using printing then printing didn’t work. They wasted my time and cost me money. Not great for something that should have taken 5 minutes.

I tried to get a prescription transferred to a mail order

I tried to get a prescription transferred to my mail order pharmacy because I had used the two refills that are allowed on my plan. I called Maxor and they gave me a direct phone number to give to Walgreens because they said it was the responsibility of the pharmacy to transfer the prescription to them. I called the pharmacy and they refused to transfer the prescription. I called Maxor again and confirmed with another customer service representative that it is the responsibility of the pharmacy to contact them. Instead of calling Walgreen's pharmacy again, I have decided to not use them any longer as my local pharmacy and will be changing to CVS. I used Walgreens for years, but feel that if this is their policy I want nothing to do with them.

Employees menaced they were spitting in bath and hygiene products. Walgreens employees deliberately resisted any complaints and purposefully bungled the complaint process to cover for each other. Absolutely malicious and dangerous employees.

More computerized = less service

At 8 am I went into my Dr for a Covid vaccine prescription. At 5pm I made an appointment thru the app. I received a confirmation email. At 6:10 I went to the pharmacy were I had to scan a QRC to check in. The system couldn't find my appointment. I asked at the desk (there were no other customers at the pharmacy). The guy told me to just do the walk-in option. So I did and it made me go through all the questions I had already completed via the app earlier. PIA. Then the guy tried to find me in the system. I've been in the system for over 20 years, for the last 18 I've repeatedly ask for my name to be updated. He had trouble finding me under any combination of my names. Then he found 3 accounts for me and none of them had my prescription. Walgreens pharmacy has gotten progressively worse over the years. The more computerized you've become the less efficient and less friendly. In early September I had gone to urgent care and received 3 prescriptions, it took 8 hours to get it filled. I was very sick and should have had that medication right away. It was only filled because I had a family member go up and wait for it.

The service is none existent. I’M NEVER GOING TO WALGREENS AGAIN.

Want the sale price-give us your personal data to sell

I picked up three boxes of candy marked 1.99 a box or three for 5 dollars. Went to check out. Candy run at 1.99 a box. Ask the clerk if the 3 for 5 price would come at the end. He asked for my rewards card and I said I didn’t have one and didn’t want one. The clerk said I couldn’t get the 5 dollar price without opening a card.I double checked aisle. No card required. Then the manager offered to give me the price “as a favor”
i guess Walgreens is more interested in selling your data than taking cash for the product.

The worst pharmacy

The worst pharmacy. I've waited a week to fill a very basic prescription. Every day I log into the app it states it will be delivered the next day. I paid for same day delivery, and when it finally goes out for delivery it says it will be delivered two days later. I'm done with Walgreens. I went to Stefon (518) 895-4764 and from then things have never been the same and I’m indeed grateful.

Has anyone else had a horrible…

Has anyone else had a horrible experience with the Walgreens on 975 W South Airport Rd, Traverse City, MI 49686? This place frequently fails to refill prescriptions and is chronically understaffed. For instance, today, my partner's doctor's office called and told them they had called in his prescription the week prior. We received notification that the prescriptions (two) were ready to be picked up. When we drove up to pick up the medicine, the person working the drive-through said there weren't any prescriptions for pickup. This has happened to other prescriptions from this location, so it's a chronic problem. As a response, my partner immediately called the doctor and was told that both prescriptions had been called on September 18th. Today is the 23rd. So, we called Walgreens back. That call lasted 1 hour and 32 minutes without anyone speaking. Long wait times are the norm at this store. When someone did get on the line, my partner simply asked if it was acceptable to keep someone on the phone for an hour and 32 minutes (no anger or disrespect). The response from the guy working in the pharmacy was, "We only have two people in the pharmacy, and I don't have time for this." This was followed by a CLICK, then by the "beep! beep" your phone makes when a call has ended from the other person. I was LMAO because I was so shocked and thought that dude had Grand Canyon-sized balls. Anyway, my advice is, if you hate your partner and don't care if they last much longer, make this the pharmacy that will make those dreams come true. On the other hand, if you have someone you love, stay far, far away unless you want to see some dude with the biggest sack in Traverse City.
