Quality watches at affordable prices

I came accross Wagstaff Watches at the Game Fare Ragley Hall in July 2025. I was attracted to the ethos of the company. They supply quality UK designed, Swiss made watches at reasonable prices. I bought the Yorkshire MK iii and am very pleased.

No manual and disappointing service

I bought my watch, a Yorkshireman, at the Great Yorkshire Show. I had visited the stand the year before and enjoyed the conversation, so this was a return to look at the new models. The watch is quite substantially built, but doesn’t come with any instructions or manual. I was referred to videos on YouTube, but those refer to the older model which doesn’t work in the same way. I have had problems with ‘zeroing’ the chronometer. First time round this was solved by email, second time six months later was slightly different. The same solution was suggested but it didn’t work, so I emailed again. This time it was suggested that a video would be sent. It was, but not an answer to the problem, so irrelevant. Another email from me saying I still had the problem….silence. I won’t wear the watch. I can’t time things accurately, so it’s no use to me. My plastic OMEGA/Swatch Speedmaster was much less expensive and is completely reliable. Quite disappointed really.

Really awful customer service

Sent a watch back for a new part after spending weeks trying to speak to someone, got hold of someone eventually on the phone - no acknowledgement of receipt of watch (although know it’s there as sent recorded delivery - Foster signed for it) and no contact whatsoever since despite phoning and reaching a message which wishes everyone a good bank holiday which could be anytime in the last six months. Have left emails and continual phoning but no reply. Really disappointed and no watch either.
