A year ago, I bought a VW. The biggest mistake of my life. The driver's door has been freezing up since new in sub-zero temperatures, and the dealer replied that it would only freeze when it got wet and that they wouldn't do anything about it. The car, which costs over €60,000, doesn't have navigation (the dealer only informed me of this after I picked up the keys). The roof lining isn't properly secured and bangs on the sheet metal at every pothole. I had to replace the windshield wipers immediately after picking up the new car because they were very hard and noisy. Both front seats were supposed to be heated, but unfortunately, I only have buttons. The passenger seat isn't heated, but before I bought it, the dealer said it was, and I've received messages saying it was a defect and they'll fix it. After a service visit, they said the seat didn't have a mat and they couldn't do anything about it. I got some old tires and fought to replace them for two months because the car would rattle after exceeding 90 km/h. The speaker on the passenger side rattles, and the sound quality is terrible. I don't recommend this dealer or this brand! I'd like to say the quality is Chinese-made, but that would be an insult to Chinese cars. The quality is much worse.

Zero safety

On the 28th of October 2023 , at approximately 4 pm, while driving my car, I suddenly lost all braking power.
There was no warning on the dashboard, and the brakes simply ceased to function. Fortunately, I was driving at a low speed in small streets, which allowed me to bring the car to a safe stop.
I immediately turned off the car and waited for five minutes before starting it again. While the brakes did start working again, they were severely limited in brake power.

As someone who has been driving for over 25 years, I have never encountered such a critical issue before.
I am both surprised and deeply concerned that this happened with a luxury car model like the Volkswagen Touareg, which is known for its safety features and global reputation.

I implore you to urgently investigate this issue, as it poses a significant risk to the lives of Volkswagen car owners.
If this problem were to occur again with another owner, the consequences could be catastrophic.
I trust that Volkswagen takes customer safety seriously and will take immediate action to address this matter
