Not worth your time

They advertise that they listen to women and offer treatment options for menopausal symptoms. My Telehealth appointment was a true disappointment. Lasted 15 minutes or less; did not take any time to listen to my concerns ; and offered to send me additional information that was never sent. I will never use their service again.

If you chose Visana for the MyPoints

If you chose Visana for the MyPoints, stay away! I‘ve had on and off issues with synching my Google Fit for months now, they made a new app „MyPoints“ and it‘s just as awful. Now I have a Garmin, the Connect app works great but again, Visana can’t synch anything and says I did not one step all month!!! I haven‘t been able to synch in over 3 months now, the support ignores the mail I sent but is happy to tell me in Google Playstore Reviews to help me via Support… In the past 4 days I‘ve made over 34‘000 steps, both Visana and MyPoints App show me 0 steps after „synching“. And yes Visana, I‘ve deleted the app, logged in, deleted the other app, synched againand no it doesn‘t help and I am one in thousands.

Give us the wrong information and no…

Given us the wrong information and no initiative to apologize. We do not know the procedure so we called and had spoken to their male colleague. He told us that is already done and noted but unfortunately we found out that is not done at all and we had to pay a higher premium. They have checked but is not stated in our file. That gave us lots of troubles and very disappointed . Please employ someone that is knowledgeable regarding their job scope.

Unfair and Sneaky Practices

I booked an appointment via an email received for a free wellness visit. That email took me to their website both stating that the visit was zero dollars and then asked me a series of questions about my current health. This was on April 2 I answered as asked and saw the MD which she was very pleasant. Then I get a bill just a few days ago now at the end of June for $224 with no previous or prior communication or any indication I would be billed. All of sudden no one knows about a free visit and then when I explained that it was a wellness visit now it went from oh well that’s why I was charged because you discussed issues that were wrong with you during the wellness visit mind you no one ever said to me now the visit is going to change and you’re now going to be charged. This is a bunch of bull crap and as I stated to them, they’re either gonna write it off or not get it because you do not get to do customers like this. As if I work for a dr office and know their process. Its pretty convenient too and months later when I’ve moved on and have no way to back track the system to prove what happened. I do not reccommend due to billing practices alone.

All Paperwork, No Care

I had a really disappointing experience as a first-time patient. I was asked to fill out a lot of paperwork in advance and received multiple confirmations about my upcoming appointment. Despite all of that, they canceled on me less than 30 minutes before the consultation—with no real explanation. I would’ve appreciated more notice so I could make other arrangements. The last-minute cancellation and lack of regard made it clear that patient care isn’t a priority here. I won’t be coming back, and it seems they don’t really need my business anyway.

Krankenkasse needs to change

Visana support not aware in my case what's included in a cataract operation pauschal. While we have to pay huge amounts for Krankenkasse, still what covers a cataract operation is the most basic and cheapest option ( manual operation instead of laser and monofocal lens) for Visana. We than have the option use glasses for ever or pay extra for better options. At least the CEO is not the most well payed. But the money used for sponsorships could be better used to serve better their clients with up to date solutions for our needs.

RIDICOLOUS SERVICE

This is basically a scam. Non-existent support, but they will pester you to want to sign you up. Afterwards consider them gone: the app is full of bugs, even if you pay for complimentary services the bill will be crazy (so they stated a different offer when I signed...) I changed city and saw a +200CHF increase with NO explanation whatsoever. Now I am trapped and cannot change ANYTHING about my options for the next 5 months?? STAY AWAY.

Dismal customer experience with Visana!

The company's customer service is dismal, their unwillingness to speak English and follow up with customer concerns is hugely disappointing, they did not hesitate to send me "notifications" 6-12 months later, but pre-dated in their online system (surely that must be illegal!), and now they simply jacked up their prices for 2023 and expect their clients to simply play along! A dismal showing, I will follow-up shortly, with an updated, more in-depth review of my experience with them. Oh, and 1 more thing: today I was told to not "threaten them" with writing such a review! Updated: a whole month has passed, and my complaint is still unaddressed. Their last email was 2 weeks ago, still no replies to my queries. This company is either inept, or they simply don't care!

Visana's marketing department can work hard to send baby socks and a customized baby towel for our baby insurance, but just one bad contact and disrespect from the local Visana agency in Geneva easily ruins everything.
