I don't think this is a real company- I emailed them 10 times I emailed the American head office - I emailed the European office - I emailed there list of approved installers (all of them in the uk) - no reply except the automated reply - so I don't think this is a real company or they can't sell anything to anyone!!!!
I had read on the Viper website that their Ceramic film blocks 99% of UV Rays and 80% of Infrared heat, thus keeping your car really cool. So I paid a hefty amount of money to have Viper Ceramic Film installed on the front windshield of my car by their Preferred Dealer. The next day since I did not notice any difference in the temperature, I measured the temperature inside the car with the Viper Ceramic film installed on the windshield and I also measured the temperature inside my other car which did not have any film on the windshield. They both gave me the exact same readings. Conclusion : The Ceramic film that Viper sells is NOT Ceramic Film, but ordinary window film that is used for tinting windows. Do not be fooled by what you read on their website as I took a sample piece of their claimed 'Ceramic film' to another dealer and he used a meter that measures the sun's intensity to check the heat blocking properties of the Viper film. It registered a 2% reduction in temperature. He then tested a piece of a different brand of Ceramic film that he uses for his customers. It registered a 40% reduction in temperature. In fact if you are standing in the sunlight, hold the film a few inches away from your face and you will be amazed at the sun blocking properties of Ceramic film. If the film does not do that, then it is FAKE. Like the film made by Viper.
