Appalling Product & Appalling Customer Service

I purchased a Vileda Mop and bucket set for £19.99 from Costco. This broke within one month's useage (in fact the first time we used it). The handle would not stay put and snapped. Very, very poorly made. As the store is quite a way from my home, I contacted Vileda by email on 27 March 2026 with video and photo evidence along with the receipt. No response. Sent a second email 10 days later. No response. Left 3 voicemail messages on their Customer Service line (where you never get to speak to anyone) and guess what? No response. Incredibly poor (non existant) Customer Service and shoddily made bad products. Awful, awful company, stay well clear.

Poor quality mops that break very…

Poor quality mops that break very easily and I suspect this is a purposeful design flaw.
Company refuses to communicate with me properly.
I advise anyone to not purchase from this company as they as basically scamming thieves.
Disgusting.
Need reporting en mass to trading standards.

Bring out the old!

Always used Vileda mops for years.Now these new mop heads are rubbish.Combed stores over for original versions none to be found.Why is newer always deemed better.? Same with newer GRams .Not a patch on the original.. Listen to customers instead of being hell driven ro re package, change when there's nothing wrong with the original.I am not luddite but come on who's kidding who ?

PLEASE FIX THE ISSUE IT IS A GOOD MOP OR AT LEAST IT USE TO BE A ONE

I’m just like all the other reviews here , I have always had a Vileda mop ALWAYS I never change because I use to love it and also made all my friends family relatives to like it , it’s easy clean u can wash it reusable , but in the last a few years it became a nightmare and so frustrating to get the mop head out of the bucket to the spin because it’s so loose , I don’t know what they changed to make it the worst mop it went from 10/10 to 0/10 this is my forth one BTW I did return and refund for the second and third then the fourth one I said maybe it is me then I hear from other people they are complaining from the same problem then I came to see the reviews. Everyone complaining about the head not sticking to the base , I do ask Vileda to fix the issue please 🙏

Very poor customer service

I had my mop and bucket for 3 months but hardly used it, now it won't wring out properly its sopping wet on my laminate floor, vileda were absolutely no help at all, i sent videos showing how wet the mop still was after wringing it, but their customer service is rubbish, they replied once to ask for a video, i sent it and never heard from them again, even though i sent about 6 emails, I wasted £30 won't buy from them again

Been ignored Ignored Ignored!

I’ve used vileda products for years but my mop and brush are faulty. I emailed and was promised replacements which is well over a month ago. I’ve left messages follow up emails and completely ignored! Who is running customer services and completely ignoring loyal customers.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda, read the reviews before buying this mop. Relied on the brand name to save time. Big mistake. The handle was rubbish. Kept coming loose. No instruction on packaging to combat this, not even Utube. Swivelling mop head, no control, difficult squeegee, the whole design is pathetic. Waste of time and money. No stars.

Absolutely awful product

Absolutely awful product, reminds me the quality of a 1960's Lucky Bags plastic toy marked made in Hong Kong. The customer service is non existent, I've had no replies in a week. Do not buy thus product as it wont last long. They say there are 2 soare mops in the box. There are no spares. Don't waste your money

Poor Product Quality & Discriminatory Customer Service

I am writing this complaint on behalf of an elderly individual who recently purchased the Vileda Turbo Smart cleaning system in Spain. This experience has been deeply disappointing for several reasons:
1. Defective Product

The unit was faulty and failed to operate correctly from day one. For a brand that markets itself on quality and durability, receiving a "dead on arrival" product is unacceptable.
2. Lack of In-Person Support

When the customer returned to the original point of sale, they were directed to contact Vileda by phone. However, the Vileda Spain phone line simply instructed them to file a claim online.
3. Discriminatory "Digital-Only" Policy

Vileda showed a complete lack of empathy and a total disregard for the digital divide. By forcing all complaints through an online portal, you are effectively discriminating against elderly citizens who may not have the technical skills or resources to navigate internet-based bureaucracy.
Summary of Grievances

Product Quality: Selling premium-priced items that do not function.

Customer Treatment: A cold, non-empathetic approach to elderly customers who require human assistance.

Poor quality and no cs

Spin mop. Handle fell to pieces, can I get it changed—- no. They want inside leg measurements, birth cert, date first walked as a baby, name of bloke next doors driving instructor-/ in other words they just muck you around. Vileda you are a miserable excuse for a decent company.

Turbo Mop, used a few times, spin broke. Called left a message, no reply. Sent email they asked for a video of no spin action, which I supplied, no response sent another email, still no response. Shocking product & zero customer service.

Vileda extendable full mop

I brought the extendable full mop a few weeks ago it worked a couple times until Sunday 11th January 2026when would not lock into place and kept sliding down , today I tried yet again to no avail I've had to use heavy duty sticky tape to finish off my floors . Recently widowed with no one nearby to fix it and not driving , cannot be running here and there buying new mops I'm disappointed

Vileda mops and handles. Absolute waste of money. The connector ALWAYS breaks within 3-4 weeks. Have bought 6 of these mops in 6 months. Shocking quality. Why don't you have a sturdy screw in system mop head? Or does it make you more money selling mops which break? Won't be buying another, ever.

vileda retractable washing…

I bought a vileda retractable washing line approx 18 months ago. After 6 months the plastic coating started to separate from the cord. Even hanging a medium load of washing on it causes it to say and a heavier load or a windy day can see the line stretch and see the washing dragging on the ground. Can vileda fix these faults in future? Am I alone in having these problems? Help please vileda. Disappointed New Milton

Witch’s Review of the Vileda Broom (from a practicing household witch with high expectations)

After surviving my marriage — which felt less like romance and more like a curse — I rose from the ashes like a witch who finally snapped back into her own power. And what does a reborn witch buy herself?
A broom, of course.
Not just any broom, but one to sweep out the old misery, chase away leftover demons, and maybe give me a little lift when life gets heavy.
A broom fit for a woman rediscovering her magic and her spine.
Big mistake.
Because what I received was not a broom.
It was a high-maintenance diva on a stick — just pure broom narcissism bringing back the same marriage vibes.
This broom doesn’t sweep — she demands to be admired.
Full of attitude, no actual results.
Every stroke felt like I was serving her, not the other way around.
No balance, no flow, no magic.
Just resistance and disappointment.
My old cheap broom (may she rest in dusty glory) outperformed this overpriced diva in every possible realm — including the mystical ones — without needing applause.
Good news: I found myself a £5 broom afterwards — and SHE is the real deal.
A perfect 50/50 partnership.
She gives, I give.
She glides, I guide.
Harmony restored.
No drama, just clean floors, mutual respect and peace.
And now, dear Vileda… a question:
Who exactly wrote those glowing reviews?
What spell did they fall under?
Because for the price you charge, this broom should at least sweep smoothly —
or fly, or sparkle, or sprinkle just a whisper of magic, dear Vileda.
Instead, it serves only one thing: your pockets,
while leaving witches like me frustrated, grounded,
and still sweeping the same dust.

Vileda 1-2 Spray mop design fault

I bought a Vileda 1-2 Spray mop. I have 2 problems;
1. The cap at the top of the handle where you input your water solution isn't a screw on. Thus when I pick up the mop to clean or remove the head the solution runs out all over the floor because you need to upend the mop.
2. Replacement mops are very expensive and are bespoke so you can't use other brands.

I wrote to Vileda asking for a replacement, they couldn't even be bothered to respond.
