They directly ask you for money and deposits I have been asked for money only one time on J2Match.com
and that profile was banned immediately after my complaint. I talked to so many women there and I met a few of them for real, and I have only encountered one scammer. As for VietnamCupid, I haven't encountered a real person at all - only fraudsters. It's a shame administration basically does nothing about it!

I try Vietnam Cupid but my experience is that more than 70% is fake and from the rest of the women they only want endless chat on internet and no date in real life. Waist of money and time

This site is like Hitler in Nazi Germany or North Korea dictactor Kim Jon Un.
They require taking passport, Driver License + your picture. THey require to sign a marriage brokarage thing. They correct information on the passport with the profile. They read your messages and decide who they let on the website or what to say and what not censor. One u send too many messages, they ask u to wait. The paying customer ( who are the main who their site up) are asked to provide all this and most women (non paying) do not provide verification infoit. This is an intrusion on personal life. Girls sign up on other websites. They should only serve to connect, not tell people what to do. They act like they own people. Most of the times 90% , they did not do the work to test is that they are mostly fake scammer profile, yet they think they got lot of people sign up. But lot of scammers using people facebook pictures. Tey do not give refunds or make it very hard based on their policies.

Their Japan and Koream. have very few members that are real. The Cupid website does not block them, because they need scammers to give the site an illussion that members are available, so that guys pay. Already tested the site. There is no outcome really. Some that are real use photoshop, filters and look notjing like in person.

This site is largely a waste of time. 95% of the photos are beautiful. There are virtually no selfies. You will be overwhelmed with messages from beautiful women, all of whom want you. That just isn't real. Even worse are the women who claim to be in the US. Those are even more fake.
This is not a site for "dating." The only reason to use this site is if you are seriously looking for a Vietnamese wife. There are some women on there who are genuinely looking for husbands.
I also note it is difficult to engage in any meaningful conversation with the "people" on this site. It could be partly a function of English as a second language and translation. All the same, in two months, I rarely advanced to any conversation that was any better than I could have with an AI bot. If a "person" responds promptly at all hours, you are not talking to a real person.
That said, if you are desperate for a Vietnamese wife, this site may be as good as any. If so, go to direct video chat as soon as you can, with calls initiated by you. Then send the money for her grandmother's urgent operation, and you can live happily ever after. ; )

all sites (yes all sites) under cupidmedia are terrible, too many things no point tell in you, this is a shitralia website. Everything is crooked but it's your time and $$.

Warning!! 99% of profiles are fake, ghosting AI bot, Etc. Also double charged me for 3 month membership. I called for a dispute and they said it was a secondary company that charged my credit card.. careful folks beware!!

This site is a waste of time and money. I have to give the scammer creativity and really went the extra miles to build up their stories and would succeed at pulling off the scam if i wasn’t suspecious going through with the requests. Must had communication with over two dozen women, none are real

The people aren’t who they claim to be and locations are false on alot

For years is was just ok depend on what you were looking for. Now women from all over the world are contacting and most are bots and or scammers. It’s Vietnam Cupid and this company has many Cupid sites in other countries so why give all free access to Vietnam Cupid. Most men are looking for a relationship in VIETNAM. This started in 2025 and has only got worse. I contacted the company because I had been a member for many years and have met over 250 Vietnamese women. I was told bots are bad now and it’s a waste of of time getting up to 100 requests per day and most are bots.

Total scam! Don't waste your time or money. About 80% of the women are fake and posted by the site. They ask for this and that before you can reply and and after paying, all the replies are just general and vague with no contact information. You pay and then send a message but the woman's reply is that we are not allow to give our email as its not safe! Total scam! You can ask 10 times for their phone number or email and never get it. All the answers are; " Nice to hear from you-hope your day is great". Just outright crooks running this site and all the other cupid sites. They never cancel your credit card charges when YOU cancel, and keep charging The only way out was to cancel my card and get a new one. Stay away!

Hello everyone. Possibly a longer text. I would like to share a story of cheating on several levels.

My ex-partner, who visits Vietnam several times a year on business, met the lady of his heart in VietnamCupid, of course when he was still living with me.

He maintained a long-distance relationship with this lady for more than a year (perhaps to this day) and met up with her every time he was there, spending weekends and holidays together.

That was the main reason for me to break up with him.

I found this out one evening when my ex left his mobile phone unattended.

I saved this lady's number and contacted her.

I wrote to her that this charming, smart guy was by no means divorced and single, but was in a live-in relationship with me since many years.
The lady replied politely and thanked me.

From then on, I was able to observe the practically daily texting between the both.
My ex saved the WhatsApp conversations after deleting them, on his files und he forgot the fact that I had access to his PC.
A lot of red flags were immediately apparent.

The lady is divorced and has a young child who she always included , from the very beginning, in the dates and joint activities, even long holidays.
She often sent him photos of herself with her child and also photos of the child alone, doing various activities. She was in fact instrumentalizing her child to score points with a man who was practically a stranger and who she knew he was in a relationship.
Although she knew that the guy was in a relationship, she didn't give a damn. She couldn't be dissuaded from continuing to date him.

Her messages were meaningless and full of empty phrases, she practically never addressed him by name, but always ‘Hi love, how was your day, Hi love how are you , I love I miss you etc”
They started saying ‘Papa’ and ‘Mama’ to each other. She often made material demands: sometimes gifts, sometimes purchases, sometimes asking to invitations to trips, even a request to get her brother, who had been unemployed for a long time, a job in the international company my ex works for.

I wanted to see more clearly because I already sensed what was going on. I did also some researches on this topic …
It seems to be a typical pattern that asian women especially in Vietnam or Thailand, are multi-tracked and let themselves be financially supported by two or three western men at the same time. Online dating is an excellent way to have several irons in the fire.
So I asked a friend of mine to register on VietnamCupid and see there : the lady was still active on the portal all over the time, for the whole year that she was dating my ex, even with two different profiles with 2 different names!! She regularly uploaded new photos to her profiles , even photos from the holiday with him!!! In fact, she was also heavily fooling him.

There can be no talk of ethics and respect!
The friend's and my impression of the VietnamCupid Site was in line with most of the comments here: the site is full of dubious profiles that seem to be fake and very probably the most real women have financial interest. They are searching for an older western man either to get married and moving to another country or otherwise being sponsored on the spot, for her and her whole family, including ex-husbands . The description on all the profiles are almost identical, they are peaceful, socially, honest, good wife and loving family. The level is in the fact very low.
If you are dating in Vietnam keep your eyes open and be very careful

The site flooded you with all the likes from faked profiles so you will subscribe and pay for membership. Once you paid…all they disappear and no longer active members. Most of faked profiles were bogus info with beautiful pictures of women.

Okay, so I give vietnamcupid three stars because the women here are cute & some of them will give you a chance, but the chance is at random & that can be frustrating & unpredictable for me or any other man that use this dating site.

I don't know what is wrong with a lot of these women on vietnamcupid, but they will ghost you for no reason & that's stupid because vietnamcupid is supposed to be a normal dating site for people looking for a normal companion to talk to! I won't spend money on a new membership until there isn't anymore frequent ghosting from the women on vietnamcupid because it's a waste of money to be on a dating stie I pay for & I get no one to talk to.

The only times I've ever gotten a reply & I was desperate for doing this I offered money to have the privilege of talking & dating with a Vietnamese woman on vietnamcupid & that's the only time they reply in an instant because Vietnamese women on average are poor, but I feel like it shouldn't be an extreme requirement to pay money to talk to every woman on vietnamcupid or otherwise I get ghosted because if I don't like this woman anymore I stop paying her money & that whole relationship is a waste of time & money for me, so vietnamcupid is full of ghosting & gold diggers, but I still like this site because the women are cute here & I assume not all of them are just ignorant gold diggers, so vietnamcupid is still a three stars for me at least.

Also, if you are ever going to pay for your Vietnamese girlfriend or other foreign girlfriend or boyfriend make sure you meet them in person first because if they think that they are your girlfriend or boyfriend they will take time to meet you in person or otherwise don't pay them any money because there are plenty of people who don't play with your heart & take your money before meeting you in person. Yes dates do cost money because if you are a man at least, women they like to buy stuff on the man's money, but only spend money on her in person. Only scammers make excuses every time to not see you in person. If your Vietnamese girlfriend makes an excuse to not see you at the airport without paying her money then that's shady or something because I think normal women would do anything to see their boyfriend at the airport with no excuses.

If the woman really don't like you on vietnamcupid that badly then you might be an old guy who don't date his age or you don't have good social skills.

Lots if activity the profiles check out as genuine, cost reasonable significant value. Exceeds expectations.

This site is a total scam as I paid for a months membership but after only 2 or 3 hours I cancelled my account and requested a full refund.
The company finally answered my request a week later telling me that I am not getting a refund as I have used my account?
How did I use a full month membership within only 2 or 3 hours of opening it???
This company is a total scam and the owners should be put in jail and made to fully refund everyone money?
This is totally illegal what they are doing buy not refunding the money for something not used and cancelled
