Bought a ticket for Harry Styles VIP…

Bought a ticket for Harry Styles VIP package for my friend, didn’t trust the site so ended up getting them through Ticketex, so on sold the tickets from Viagogo, then they say they couldn’t provide the initial tickets and refunded me and then took $726 straight out my Visa account because I couldn’t provide the same tickets that they couldn’t provide me. I was never paid for the sale. Don’t ever use this site as you have been warned. I’m over $800 out of pocket and no chance of getting it back.

Viagogo is Literally a Scam

Viagogo is Literally a Scam

Do not try to sell on Viagogo, or buy from them for that matter.

I tried to sell two tickets through Viagogo, and the entire process has been a complete nightmare. It takes days for listings to be approved, and two out of three times my listings were simply disabled with the excuse that it was due to their “automated system.” No warning. No email. Nothing to tell me that my tickets were no longer listed.

Eventually, I finally managed to get a listing approved without it being taken down, and the tickets sold. Then the sale was cancelled, and Viagogo charged me a $140 transaction fee.

It took 45 days of dealing with their customer support team to get this resolved. In the end, they fully admitted that it was their fault and refunded the money.

I then relisted the tickets to try to sell them again. After a week, the listing was deactivated again.

I called customer support and was eventually put through to a supervisor. He just told me that I had to try listing the tickets again and that he would “put a note on my file.” This was the same thing I had already been told the previous three times my tickets had mysteriously been taken down, without Viagogo even bothering to send an email to tell me it had happened.

When I asked the supervisor for assurance that my tickets would actually be relisted and stay listed, he muted his microphone for about a minute. When he unmuted, I asked, “What happened? I couldn’t hear you.”

He replied, “I don’t know, I am here.”

I asked again what had happened, and he just kept repeating, “I am here.”

Eventually, I gave up trying to question him and started trying to resolve the actual problem again. He then suddenly said, “Thanks, have a good day,” and hung up.

I did not realise until afterwards that the reason he muted himself for about a minute was clearly an attempt to make me think the connection had dropped so that I would hang up. All of their calls are recorded, so if anyone ever listened back to the call, it would simply sound like the connection had cut out rather than a supervisor refusing to deal with the issue.

I have sold $30,000 worth of goods on eBay and Etsy over the last two years, and I have never experienced customer service this bad.

With Viagogo, I tried to sell just two tickets, and it has wasted hours and hours of my life.

Viagogo is a complete scam. Do not waste your time or money using them.

We had tickets for the concert from another vender. We paid a lot more money and seats were not good. We tried your app last minute and got fantastic seats at a great price. Had a fantastic experience!

Absolutely avoid Viagogo

Absolutely avoid Viagogo. I sold two tickets through their platform and, even though the payment was supposed to arrive over one week ago, I still have not received a single cent.

What makes this even worse is the complete lack of transparency and professionalism from their support team. I had three separate chat conversations with customer support, and in each one I was given a completely different date for when the bank transfer was allegedly processed. It feels like they are simply making up information to delay and confuse customers instead of actually solving the issue.

At this point, I have completely lost trust in this company. Tomorrow I will be filing a police complaint for fraud because this situation is unacceptable.

I do NOT recommend this platform to anyone. The entire experience has been extremely unpleasant, stressful, and frustrating. After reading many other reviews online, I also discovered that, besides delaying or refusing payments to sellers, there are numerous reports of fake tickets being sold on the platform as well.

This is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an online marketplace. Stay away from Viagogo.

Would never use this site again

Would never use this site again. The site took my money a month before event then tickets never came. Only to have the tickets cancelled by provider and eventually got a refund, but got charged extra still due to exchange rate being an international site. So got charged for funds when I did nothing wrong and got nothing in return. Would never use again!

Zero

I purchased tickets for the front area of the Split Enz concert through this company. When my friends asked where we were seated, I was told they “could not tell me until 4 hours before the event.”
For weeks I rang and emailed trying to get answers and attempted to dispute the purchase because I felt the process was misleading.
I repurchased other tickets thru a reputable seller.
I was then told I could resell the tickets on their platform at no charge, so I did exactly that. However, because I still had not actually received the tickets, I could only list them for the amount I originally paid.
Two tickets sold, and once the tickets finally arrived I forwarded them on. The buyers then disputed the purchase and the sale did not go through.
Now I have received a bill for $321 for a sale that never even completed.
I am disputing all charges and also the time and stress this has caused. Mastercard gives companies token access to locked cards, so if you are a Mastercard holder, be aware this can still allow charges to go through. Fraud comes to mind.
Also, Google had this company at the very top of the page and the company advertised “Only 44 tickets left,” which I believe is false and misleading advertising.

This company sold me tickets in the…

This company sold me tickets in the front area of split enz. When my friends said we’re are we sitting I was told “they cannot tell me until 4 hours before the event”
I rang and emailed them for weeks and tried to dispute the purchase.
I was then told I could sell these tickets on their platform at no charge. So that’s what I did but I could only list the tickets by the price I paid, because I still had not received the tickets.
2 tickets sold and then when the tickets arrived, I forwarded these on. The seller disputed these and the sale didn’t go thru.
I have just received a bill for a sale that didn’t go thru for $321.00.
SO I AM DISPUTING ALL THESE CHARGES AND COSTS FOR MY TIME . Mastercard gives these companies tokens to access locked Credit Cards so if you are a holder of a Mastercard be aware of this.
Also google put this company at the top of the page and this company stated “only 44 tickets left “ so that in itself is false and misleading.

Via go go poses as an official ticket…

Via go go poses as an official ticket sales outlet advertising “less that 1% left” for tickets that are not even on sale yet and they have no guaranteed access to. The prices are also 5 to 10 times the actual price of tickets… Via Go Go has been prosecuted by the ACCC for their fraudulent advertising and for scamming people. Absolute no refund policy, even if the actual tickets aren’t even on sale yet. SCAM

All good thank you but ticket recovery is a nightmare

All good thank you. BUT I found the acceptance of tickets difficult. You assume that elderly persons (the sort that go to the Opera) understand how to manipulate the transference of tickets from your digital notification to me.
I tried many times and realised I had to point my iphone at the Q code. This then led to the ticket showing up in my Apple Wallet! Heavens knows how?
What would I have done if I did not have an iphone?
I tried to download your app but noting worked. I phoned the number you provided and the person who answered told me they had noting to do with your company .
It was a nightmare, but, as i have said, I found my tickets in Apple Wallet and the usher at the Opera accepted them. The opera was great, absolutely wonderful, but I was very concerned I would be turned away at the theatre.
My strongest suggestion is to review your ticket transfer process. Why am I not allowed to print them off?
What happens if one does not have a computer or iphone?

A very bad platform to buy resale tickets from

If I could review this platform as a zero I would we bought tickets to go at an inflated price to magic round day three, my daughter flew in for it. We were on the train on the way in there get there and then receive an email saying that the seller has been able to take the tickets back after we paid for it months ago. First game started at 2 o’clock and we received an email at 2:09 with the tickets removed from us. I don’t understand how this is even allowed to happen.

$99 fees on top of a $280 purchase.

Went to purchase ticket for $280.. going through buying process like normal, only to realise that as I cleared the payment, it had an added $99 fee on it.
I requested refund within 10 minutes of making purchase, to which I realised their policy is that all sales are final.
Jokes on me for being naive.
Will not buy from them or recommend them to anyone.
Use tixel instead...
