You're better of doing walk ins

1. Please have QR or bar code as electronic voucher so we don't have to print the voucher. There were no print shops open during weekends so we had a very hard time finding a printer. We spent almost an hour looking for a printer because it was "compulsory" to print the voucher.

2. Walk in gondola rides were cheaper at EUR 80 for 5 people.

3. Ride was only for 20 minutes instead of the advertised 30 minutes.

4. If you have a very strict schedule then this is good for you because you know exactly when a gondola is made available for you. If not, just line up for a gondola ride during off peak times, 5pm onwards

thank you for your feedback! Whenever possible, we offer the possibility to show the voucher on electronic devices. Unfortunately, for some services, the supplier requires a printed copy of the voucher and therefore we have to comply with its regulation, otherwise our voucher won't be accepted and customers won't be able to use the service. Anyway, please note that we are transparent in specifying this important detail online, in order to inform our customers of this fundamental requirement before they book the service.
Concerning the price, as indicated online, it includes an advance booking fee that allows you to save time on site. Without a reservation, you may loose precious time in queue waiting for a gondola!

THANK YOU!!!!

I learned the hard way that good help and customer service is not easy to come by in Italy. I can't understate the exceptional quality of service we received from Chrish of Visit Today Italy. We missed our train from Venice which meant we missed the beginning of our walking tour, which we could not reschedule due to a short time frame in Florence. Chrish went above and beyond to minimize the impact of our late start and things we should consider doing in Florence. He held our luggage for us and waited until after our tour to personally request us a taxi. I wouldn't hesitate to work with this company.

Also, Julia's tour was phenomenal. She was knowledgable, insightful, and clearly had a passion for her work and the subject matter. Book with confidence!

The website was glitchy

The website was glitchy. It seemed as though it didn’t process the payment but then we received a confirmation email. One of the tickets had to be printed and the site said the ticket could be collected at the ticket office at the museum. However the museum would not print it. Since we had no way to print we could not go to the museum at all. We paid for nothing. Very disappointed.

As for the voucher of the museum, maybe you didn't read carefully al the information... We are very claer in informing our customers that 'the VOUCHER proves that the booking has been made successfully and it must be PRINTED ON A PAPER COPY AND SHOW AT THE TICKET OFFICE'. It is your responsibility to print the voucher, not of the ticket office, and this is clearly specified also online, since we are transparent in informing our customers about the particular condition to use the voucher before they book.

Voucher and Invoice not attached

I ordered two items separately, although only one item came through with vouchers. There is not information on how to retrieve based only on a booking confirmation without a voucher or invoice attached.

we are sorry you had problems with your second order. In cases such as yours, if you need a fast support, you can contact our customer care department in order to receive assistance.
As an alternative, as explained in our FAQ section - question is 'What should I do if I cannot download the voucher after booking?' - you could have tried to recover the reservation on your own.

Gondola ride In Venice

We were unable to find the meeting place and therefore completely wasted N Z $150 . The writing and map location are rediculasly small when you print out the voucher. These are tiny insignificant locations in a maze.

Booking the "Skip the Line" voucher was…

Booking the "Skip the Line" voucher was simple and straightforward. I must also thank the concierge of the Bauer Palazzo Hotel in Venice for directing me to the site to effect the purchase, and to think it was all done in minutes while I am half way around the world from Venice. Congratulations!

The Doge's Palace in Venice would not…

The Doge's Palace in Venice would not accept the voucher I purchased online and displayed on my Smartphone, which cost 40 Euros.

we are sorry you didn't read carefully all the information we provide, otherwise you would have been warned that the voucher of the Doge's Palace must be printed in order to be converted it into the entry ticket. This is clearly specified both online, to inform our customers before they book, and the on the voucher itself as a kindly reminder.
For lots of the services bookable on venetoinside.com you can present the voucher also on electronic devices whereas for the Doge’s Palace this is not possible since the regulation of Venice Civic Museums, to which we have to be in compliance, requires to show a paper copy of the voucher at the ticket offices.

The tickets cost 40 euro and the Dodge's Palace refused to let us in. Your web site clearly states,"The voucher is the only valid document and you can present it to our staff either on a paper copy or on a MOBILE DEVICE (smartphones, tablets or other devices) according to instructions specified on it."
But the voucher states, "The VOUCHER proves that the booking has been made successfully and it must be PRINTED ON A PAPER COPY AND SHOW AT THE TICKET OFFICE of the Doge's Palace or at the Correr Museum in order to convert it into the ticket valid for the admission.

we are sorry you didn't read carefully all the information we provide. In fact, in the page of the Doge's Palace, it is clearly specify that the voucher must be printed in order to convert it into the entry ticket; the same information is then specified also on the voucher itself.
The phrase you mentioned is contained on the confirmation email you received after you booking, with the voucher in attached. It is a standard email and is the same for all our services. For lots of the services bookable on venetoinside.com you can present the voucher also on electronic devices whereas for the Doge’s Palace this is not possible since the regulation of Venice Civic Museums requires to show a paper copy of the voucher at the ticket offices.
'The voucher is the only valid document and you can present it to our staff either on a paper copy or on a mobile device (smartphones, tablets or other devices) ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS SPECIFIED ON IT'... And on the voucher you received, it was clearly indicated that 'it must be PRINTED ON A PAPER COPY AND SHOW AT THE TICKET OFFICE'. We are transparent in informing our customers about this, otherwise that would be against our own interests, don't you think?

Bad experience with Venetoinside

During our stay in Venice I wanted to skip the long waiting lines and purchased tickets online. The payment went through however I have never received the vouchers.
Stating this to the personal at the Campanile and showing them the confirmation that payment went through they didn't care and told me to leave and call the hotline. Nice catch since you couldn't reach anyone on a weekend. Also the didn't speak any english. For tourists this is such a bad experience.
In the meantime I have contacted Venetoinside via e-mail. More than one week I didn't get a feedback.
The next time I will wait in line to save money!
