False product description; zero customer service

Three issues: 1. Misleading product photos 2. Missing items from my order 3. No proactive resolution despite contact

1. I placed a €700+ order a month ago for bulk staples (oats, flour, lentils, sugar, vegetable powders — approximately 103 kg total). The 5 kg products are advertised on the website with silver foil-laminated bags that clearly suggest a premium lightblocking, airtight, moisture-resistant packaging.

What arrived was plain kraft paper bags with thin plastic lining -- no foil layer and light passes through. For anyone buying in bulk for food storage purposes, this is a significant and material difference from what is advertised.

I complained and received a glib comment something to the effect of: "our product development is just a bit faster than our website development. The website photos remain misleading as of today (mid-June 2026).

2. Additionally, two boxes from my order were never delivered. It seemed to have been a DHL decision to leave two boxes in the distribution center. Nonetheless Vehgro has not contacted DHL proactively, has not provided any update in the last month, and has not provided a refund for the missing products. When I asked for a refund I was told that I'd receive a "credit" as soon as Vehgro
"receives a tracking number for the return from DHL."

3. I contacted Vehgro in writing to report both issues — the packaging discrepancy and the missing items. Except for their initial weak responses, I have received neither the missing products nor a refund for them, and no update on either issue. It's been several weeks. There seems to be no system for follow-up.

Hugely disappointing. The product range is good and the prices are competitive, but misrepresenting packaging in product photos (for an extended period) and failing to follow up on a missing delivery is not acceptable, especially for an order of this size.

This company’s reaction on Google was blatantly false just like their website. I had informed them in April about the specific missing items, with DHL tracking numbers and a list of contents. The company itself responded to that list and acknowledged the fact the items were still not delivered. Yet on Google they said I had not informed them or replied.

Also three months later the company is still publishing misleading product information on their website.

Have ordered 3 times and I always get a message right after that my order is in backorder even though the item says it's in stock. They usually ship fast anyway, but it seems like some weird tactic to compensate when an order is delayed a day or two. Would prefer if they were just upfront about it beforehand. What the deal vehgro?
