Hopeless customer service

Vauxhall eden Banbury after trying to contact them by phone to ask a question after spending £770 with them for a service and MOT l was cut off 5 times, I was phoning a Banbury number and ending up in Bicester with no one knowing what they were doing and no apology, just a don't care attitude then to be told it's £150 to look at a tyre. Last time using this dealership

Faulty car from start - constant alarms

I bought a brand new all electric Vauxhall frontera and have had nothing but issues with it. From the start the alarm has gone off probably about once a month for absolutely no reason and often I am unable to get the alarm to stop. It will go off randomly when the car is parked in my driveway in the middle of the night, sometimes when parked at the supermarket and there is never a cause or reason for the alarm to be set off. Once the alarm goes off it takes about 5-10 minutes for it to stop. Locking and unlocking the car doesn’t stop it, nor does checking all the doors + boot and bonnet are closed fully. There’s nothing you can do. One time I even had to start driving the car away as it was waking up the kids in the street during the night and I drove it for around 2 minutes before the alarm stopped. I’ve taken the car to Arnold Clark twice now with no joy. First time they give me it back saying all sensors are fine and a software update should fix the alarm. It did not - alarm went off another twice before I took it back to them. I now haven’t had my car for two weeks (despite still paying my monthly fee for it) and Arnold Clark can’t find the issue. I reckon either cheap materials or generally poor electrics that regularly fail. Disaster - avoid Vauxhall.

Bedford Vauxhall is disgraceful.

Bedford Vauxhall are liars and don't give a damn about their customers so long as they get a sale!
Even head office got involved to help me and then they s**t on me from a great height!
So George, your manager and Annie K from head office... I hope you're proud of yourselves, you're treatment of customers is despicable, even your disabled customers as I am.
I am taking this further.

ACCRINGTON GARAGES

I bought a brand new Vauxhall Grandland from Accrington Garages, Burnley, but as soon as I a was driving the vehicle home after I had collected it, it was obvious that there was some fault on it as there was a loud banging coming from the nearside door pillar, I tried my utmost to find this fault but was unsuccessful.
I later contacted the garage from where I purchased it from and explained the fault to then, and they agreed to have a technician examine the vehicle and so the vehicle was returned to them.
I later received a call from them to say that the vehicle had been rectified, upon taking back the vehicle it was pretty obvious after only travelling a short distance that the fault was still present.
THREE times this vehicle was returned to Vauxhall Accrington Garages and three times they had failed to rectify the fault.
I subsequently spoke to the garage once again expressing my dissatisfaction with the fault on this vehicle and they point blank refused to take the vehicle back again as they told me that they had tried on THREE separate occasions to rectify this fault so they refused to take back this brand new Vauxhall which was purchased from them.
I rang the RAC and they sent a technician to my address, after driving the car for a short distance and examining the nearside pillar it was his professional opinion that there was in fact a fault on the door pillar and that this probably originated at the factory where it was built and that the vehicle needed returning to the garage for the fault to be rectified.
I contacted Perrys Vauxhall a different garage from where I had purchased the vehicle, explained everything to them and the following day they collected the vehicle from my home, took it away and returned it later that same day, they DID find the fault which they fully rectified.
I have sinced emailed the manager of Accrington Garages explaining my dissatisfaction with them, I received no response, I wonder why!
I would not recommend Accrington Garages to anyone thinking of buying from them, they totally let you down and when you need them most they just abandon their customer.
100% NOT RECOMMENDED.

Unreasonable 4-month delay on Frontera…

Unreasonable 4-month delay on Frontera BEV order at Luton branch & zero support

Placed a £500 deposit at Thurlow Nunn Luton for a new Vauxhall Frontera BEV based on an agreed September delivery. After weeks of silence, sales manager Amir informed me the vehicle is delayed until Dec/Jan with zero alternative solutions or support. I want to keep my order, but leaving a customer without transport for 4 months due to dealer delay is unacceptable. Need management intervention to source an earlier build slot or alternative vehicle.

I phoned vauxhall in Ipswich to ask…

I phoned vauxhall in Ipswich to ask them to quote for a new boost hose for my insignia. They said they couldn't as it needs plugging in to find the fault, and this would be chargeable. I told them I was looking at a broken hose at the turbo end so would require the hose and the labour to fit it. They still said they need to plug it in. I said forget it, ordered a repair kit from Turbozentrum for £27, fitted it myself and it's perfect. Glad its an older car and I can do most things myself. Never buy a new car unless you want a permanent migraine

Under warrantee with no support from Vauxhall

My car is still under warrantee, and has done less than 20k miles in almost 3 years. Today a red flashing warning light and oil pressure low warning have come on. Under Vauxhall's own guidance, this now means I cannot drive my car and it has to go to the dealership for diagnostics. Vauxhall will not pay for recovery for me, and because my car has broken down at the bottom of my drive and not the roadside RAC will not collect it either under their policy.

Having spoke to customer care (don't make me laugh), they are 'not allowed' to step outside of their policies and procedures, whether paying for a tow is going to put me in financial hardship or not.

A car that costs me a lot of money each month is now sat not being able to be used until I can find the money for it to be towed to the dealership. I appreciate that as a car owner there is a risk these things can happen, but when you chose to buy a new car you expect it to run smooth for a period of time and if it doesn't you expect the dealership to support and help, especially when the issue is known to Vauxhall.

According to Vauxhall forums, this fault is a known fault with Grandlands and many have been recalled. The lack of support and help from Vauxhall is disappointing. I feel stranded, distressed and soon to be out of pocket, for an issue that they know is a common fault on this model.

Disgraceful customer care - Case No. 04310980 - 2 weeks of ignored complaints

Текст:
Vauxhall Customer Care has been wasting my time for two weeks regarding Safety Recall Case No. 04310980. They ignore basic technical questions, refuse to accommodate working customers, fail to offer solutions in requested areas (Wellingborough), and are now completely ignoring a FORMAL COMPLAINT sent two days ago. Unprofessional, disorganized, and completely lacking customer service.

Steer well clear of Vauxhall Vans

Steer well clear of Vauxhall Vans
We have had x4 broken down Vans for 2 years.
Vauxhall refuse to accept warranty claims, their service network is diabolical. Appointment waiting times exceed 3 months in some cases.
We are currently looking at costs exceeding 30K for the vehicles that have been broken down, all have less than 20.000 miles and were brand new when procured.
Our exspenses are increasing every week due to litigation costs.
Do not buy a Vauxhall Van,they are not fit for purpose, avoid at all costs.

Hideous experience with customer care

Wow. Reading all these reviews, Vauxhall are shocking. I have had all sorts of issues with my car since Jan. Was recommended to speak to customer care, what a massive waste of time. They are incredibly unprofessional and have absolutely no idea how to deal with an enquiry. Vauxhall, you need to do so much better

Vauxhall Parts wait diabolical

UPDATE: Yesterday I sent a formal complaint off to the Motor Ombudsman. My husband suffers from acute anxiety and this has made him stir crazy to be indoors all the time. Our car is still not roadworthy. We only bought the car last July. Oh how I wish it wasn't a Vauxhall now...

First of all I cannot complain about my dealer who are in a right predicament. My journey started on June 8th 2026 when my car had an MOT and a service. It was found that I had an oil leak from the oil cooler and one seal on the air con pump had gone. You would have thought that Vauxhall would have the parts wouldn't you right? Wrong they dont. I phoned up Vauxhall Customer Care who cannot give me any indication of when the parts will arrive from Germany.

This in my opinion is bad on Vauxhall and the parts manufacturer. All can do is wait like everyone else.

I have been a customer of Vauxhall for well over 30 years. This is the last time I ever buy off Vauxhall. No more. Steer clear of them. Vauxhall have ruined my disabled wife's life because we cant go anywhere and that is unforgivable.

Vauxhall customer service is appalling…

Vauxhall customer service is appalling from a recall issue on a timing chain on a vauxhall combo van. Timing chain broke after a few months after the check had taken place. 3 month’s later and a lot of hassle they fitted a new engine. 30 miles later after picking van up the turbo broke which should have been replaced with the new engine said the dealership but Vauxhall didn’t authorise it. The turbo would have been damaged from contaminated oil from the chain going on a long motorway journey. If the contaminated oil didn’t ruin the turbo the first attempt to pick van up had no oil in the new engine and it had been driven by garage themselves and this would have ruined the turbo too.
Customer service says it’s my problem now and expect me to pay £1000 for a new turbo from an issue that started with a recall. This is shocking service and has been going on for 4 months still unresolved and dealing with trading standards now as Vauxhall will not take my calls or the dealerships calls either. This has had a massive effect on my work as a sole trader and this is my only van.
