Signed up for a 1 month trial. Which rolled into an annual product. Tried to cancel, wouldnt let me. Sent enforcement agents to collect 130 Euro. Had to pay it. So now i have a year long account agreement with them for 30gb a month, I mean seriously what a terrible product. I wouldnt mind so much if it was unlimited. But 30gb i'll use in 20 minutes.

Company ripped me off with free trial. I didn't even use the software after I tried it once for an hour and saw that it kind of sucked. They have sent me to some German Collection agency because I wasn't interested in paying for something that I didn't use and have no interest in, because it sucked. I contacted them by email immediately upon receiving the invoice for the trial I thought was canceled, to cancel the trial again, but they refused to cancel it and want me to pay anyways. To pay for absolutely nothing. If this is how they treat their customers, nobody I know ever wants to be one. Will be passing my recommendation on to all those who come to me for my IT knowledge.

The company keeps replying to this saying that even though I did NOT use it, they still want their money. Money for nothing. So a rip off. They have not collected money, I am not asking for a refund for something I bought. They are demanding that I pay for something that I NEVER USED. It cost them $0.0 but they demand over $100 for nothing. What a scam!

Do not give them any of your money. There are many free usenet services, and there are much better places to go for your needs. Just do some searching online and asking around and you'll find a much better solution. They might have been a great option a decade ago or more. I actually used their service many years ago and it was fine. I even happily paid them some money to upgrade my free service back in the day. NEVER AGAIN.
I urge you, if you are reading this, share this information and save everyone you know from getting ripped off by this German Scam artist.

Have been a UK based UseNext user for more than 10 years. Recently they revised application code necessitating that I make personal changes to my Win 11 OS. This failed to work for me, so I cancelled DD, as application was inaccessible. They then set Debt Collectors on me, which I paid most reluctantly, just to get rid of this service. DO NOT USE!!!, BE WARNED THEY ARE JUST SHARKS...NO CONCEPT OF CUSTOMER LOYALTY & NO INTEREST IN ANYTHING BUT TAKING YOUR MONEY....!

I've used Usenet for about 20 years and it has worked well with no problems. They used to offer their own software but changed from this a few years ago. They gave links to alternative newsreaders which never seemed so good. Although they have a fantastic selection of newsgroups on their servers with fast access I've found I use the facility very little over the past two years so have finally decided to cancel my account.
I've always found Usenet a professional and a reliable portal into the Usenet service and would recommend them to others.

I have been with usenext for years, they have always been very professional & honest, they confirm everything in writing albeit via email but that's the way things are done. The only criticism I do have is that I was always able to ring and speak to the customer service team direct, but now you just get an error message and you have to submit a email type ticket, however the reply's are just as professional & personalized.

DO NOT! use this service they treat there customers terrible. i have been with them for more than 10 years paying there ripoff prices, where i thought when its not broke why fix it.
They would not let me cancel my order they said that it would cancel in a years time. Even when on there website it states that you have 14 day cool off period, which i was in. What a load of crap. They have made my PAYPAL account go into arrears. I tried to ring up, you get a message saying that there is a error and to try back again. its been the same error all the time. because they don't speak to people everything is via email, i've had repetitive emails just stating it would cancel in a years time.
Then when i said i would goto paypal resolution i got a reply saying that they only speak German or English. Very rude and Unprofessional.

GOTO the TOP ONE, BUT BEFORE YOU DO, Google it like i did and on Reddit i managed to get massive money off to the total of $3.99 a month. £43 for the year with free VPN that you can use on fire-stick, PC etc. which is totally UNLIMITED none of this balance running out business. Even when i just normally searched for it i managed to see it at £82 but go via Reddit the page was a older discussion, but i still got massive discount. Thats alot different than paying £141 (155 euros) for a service that is Very poor. Not Unlimited and disgusting! customer service.
Google it look at the top 10 usenext providers and then look at there reviews, you'll see who are at No1 In the top ten usenext providers of 2022.

If 1 person reads this and doesn't use USENEXT my work here is done. especially with the price of everything at the min. Please research everything b4 getting there 14day free trial you will end up getting scammed and then once money has gone out its very hard to get it back, look at there negative reviews.

How USENEXT can have 4.4 stars out of 5 stars with 17% NEGATIVE reviews is a total mystery to me.

Update, usenext want more info but they have my email.
In the meantime sent me an emal saying I have to pay by 16/3/22 or they will start collection proceedings. Nice threat and good luck with that collection threat Usenext

Usenext keep sending threatening collection emails after I cancelled my subsctiption.
Sent the cancellation request, sent 3 emails none of which they answered and still these fascists keep sending emails threatening legal proceedings and costs if I don't pay the subscription plus costs.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

SCAM COMPANY BEWARE !!!
I was looking for a movie and they made me to sign up for a free trial service, I have cancelled the free trial however I’ve been charged around €100 and was never able to claim it back.
This was the worst service I have ever dealt with in my life.

I started a free trial on Jan 14, 2022 looking for a pdf of a textbook. Upon realizing the book was not available, I immediately cancelled my account on the website. One month later, I was just charged almost $150 CAD. I went back into the account to cancel again. I'm very disappointed that people would do something like this.

usenext reached out to me asking for my email, but didn't make any further communication. Once again complete con. BEWARE!!!!

I have been scammed!

I cancelled my membership on the same day of purchase. It is even confirmed on my account however I have received emails threatening me with legal action. As I was scared I have paid this and have taken it up with PayPal. I hope someone can help!

De haver to be carefull because you do not really know when the account isso cancelem. For me the charged my account after cancelation. De need to contact directly to cancel

I have sent multiple emails to cancel my subscription during the free trial and did not receive any answers.. I tried to call multiple lines to the US line and got hung up every time.. SCAM. I just want a confirmation that no payments will be taken as I was in my write to cancel ! First email sent on january 13 and the initial date of the account creation was january 7th, so I was totally in my right to cancel but the website did not let me and no one was answering. I even cannot connect anymore to the account with my ID.. Will not recommend this service to anyone.

Concern about this service.
Like many I was lured into setting up an account as an ebook I wanted to read was advertised and linked to this sign up. Couldn’t access the book I wanted. I’ve emailed now as my phone will not allow me to call Germany. Hope to get a response soon.
