Hitchin. Hertfordshire. Repeatedly miss public litter bins next to a nursery school in our street. No collections for 2 weeks. Bags of dog poo spill next to the gates for kids and parents to avoid.
Call their switchboard? ‘Message passed on - hopefully get there by the end of the week.’
No response when asked, ‘Hopefully? Definitely?’
Could now be 3 weeks with unemptied bins. No wonder they have lost the contract -

Have failed to collect brown bin at least three times this year, claiming the bin wasn't put out, or in the correct place. Dreadful service, road in a mess after they have been, and they never return even after complaining to the council. How they won the contract I'll never know, wouldn't trust them to walk my dog.
Urbaser refuse collection hit my car and broke the light, kicked the broken part under the car and left. I have been trying to get this resolved since September 2022, now April 2022.
They acknowledge liability but have not paid for repairs, I got a quote from my local dealer (albeit an incorrect) as when the dealership inspected my vehicle the price doubled for the correct part.
Urbaser are refusing to pay even though the quote was incorrect the damage by them was still done and should be rectified my them. Appalling service and attitude.
