Capped Speeds & Awful Servers

If you’ve ever tried downloading from Uploadhaven, you know the pain. The platform feels like it’s stuck in the dial‑up era—download speeds are aggressively capped, making even small files drag on forever. Their servers constantly choke, leading to failed downloads, random disconnects, and a frustrating cycle of retries.

What makes it worse is the lack of transparency. Instead of offering reliable service, Uploadhaven seems designed to push users toward premium subscriptions by throttling free downloads to unusable levels. Even then, reports suggest the servers don’t improve much, leaving paying users just as annoyed.

Even "PRO" plan is laughably slow

Have used their "free" service for smaller files for a while. Very slow, but it's free so didn't think anything of it. Wanted to download some larger files so upgraded to their "PRO" 2 day pass. It's laughably slow still. Total dogshit. My internet connection is around 7 Mb/s for downloads. Uploadhaven can barely scrape 1 Mb/s, Mostly hovering around 800 Kb/s - 1000 Kb/s, That's not even the worst of it. The worst part is the downloads can suddenly cut off so you have to start all over again. I still haven't managed to download 1 file yet because of this. Each time, it has cut off. Once at 98% and another at 88%. This is the "PRO" plan, not the free version. In 2025. Absolutely the worst download website I have ever come across. Also if you're not careful or internet savvy, you can easily download malware, trojans etc as Uploadhaven allow fraudsters to advertise on their website. If you're trying to download games, it honestly may be better to wait for sales for the games you want on GOG or Steam. You won't be wasting time and your sanity on horrifically slow download speeds (if you can even get them to download before the cut off midway through) or risking malware from the dodgy "advertisers"

Even one star feels too generous

Even one star feels too generous. You mean I have to download a 50GB file, but you only let me download at 1MBs, and then you restart the download every 2 hours? How am I supposed to use this?

Slow Downloads + Hotlink Protection

The download speed is absolutely horrible, you get 0.5 MB/s on average, with 2 MB/s being the peak. you will not reach that often though. Also, Hotlink Protection, so you cannot bookmark a download for later. I do not recommend this site under any circumstance!

Took the risk and thankfully it works!!

What in the world is up with these reviews? I was skeptical but because I only had 4 dollars left in my bank account I took the risk. My download went from 400kb/s to an average of 40 MB/s. An 80GB game took 25 minutes to download. So happy I didn't have to wait days.

Awful

Awful, 3 days to download 85gb game? Why would I even bother? Stupidly slow download speeds which are intention to encourage you to buy pro. Having dug around it appears as though pro does no better, even after downloading a download manager.

Do not buy

It's the second time that I purchase this premium service without getting the benefits. I cannot understand why it is so, I use Starlink and my speed has always been consistent. There is no way I am not even getting 2 MB/s even while using Free Download Manager... I used to get up to 40 MB/s with UploadHaven, now I get 2 MB/s... WITH PREMIUM
