A very beautiful, excellent and attractive site, one of the most amazing sites I have ever seen

Everything was fine until I wanted to cancel my subscriptions.

Sadly the process of canceling is confusing and intransparent. I thought I have terminated everything successfully yet I still have to pay for another year.

And I can not help the feeling that this is part of their business plan, because signing up went very smoothly. This was not the reason why I opted for united Domains a "trustworthy and reliable" provider.

Even though I have contacted customer service before the start of the new subscription period and it became clear that a renewal was a misunderstanding I still had to pay for another year, for nothing as I do not need or use the website. I am disappointed.

On top of that most reviews here on this website do not seem to originate from real customers writing about their actual experience. As they mostly consist of only a couple of words are all 5 star ratings, labeled with "invited" and with questionable grammar originating from all over the world even though the company itself states that they mostly serve customers within german speaking regions.

Update:

After my comment united domains has contacted me and offered me to pay only half of the payment and settle the issue.

So weit war alles in Ordnung, bis ich kündigen wollte.

Leider ist die Prozedur verwirrend und intransparent. Ich dachte ich hätte erfolgreich gekündigt doch jetzt muss ich noch ein Jahr weiter zahlen.

Ich komme nicht ohne das ungute Gefühl aus, dass das Teil des Geschäftsmodells ist, denn eine Anmeldung verläuft ganze reibungslos. Das war eigentlich nicht der Grund wieso ich mich für United Domains als ein "seriösen und zuverlässigen" Anbieter entschieden habe.

Auch nachdem ich vor Antritt der neuen Buchungsperiode den Kundenservice kontaktiert habe und klar war, dass die Verlängerung ein Missverständnis war musste ich trotzdem für das Jahr zahlen, für nichts, da ich die Website weder brauche noch nutze... Das ist enttäuschend.

Dazu kommt noch dass die meisten "Bewertungen" hier nicht ehrliche Bewertungen von echten Kunden zu sein scheinen. Sie bestehen nur aus ein zwei Worten, immer mit 5 Sternen bewertet, mit "invited" gelabelt (das sie nicht aus freien Stücken die Bewertung geschrieben haben) und sind von fragwürdiger grammatischer Zusammensetzung, meist auf englisch von "Kunden" überall auf der Welt, dabei gibt das Unternehmen selber an dass ein Großteil ihrer Kundschaft aus dem deutsch-sprachigen Raum stammt.

Nach meinem Kommentar hat mich united Domains kontaktiert und Angeboten nur die hälfte des Betrags zu zahlen.

wanted to choose a local service provide, therefore I ordered at "united domains" 2 new domains. I received 2 eMail confirmations along with a customer number. When trying to set up my account and login to united domains web page, the site gave an error. . I called the hotline and was told that apparently the system rejected my order as it had considered me a robot. In such cases, united domains doesn't have the practice to notify the "customers". I was more than confused, and stated I'd like to confirm my order on the phone. The proposed solution was to close the call, as they couldn't do anything about it, and re.order online. This time I was advised to send in addition a separate mail to the support with my passport scanned, and make sure my order doesn't get rejected. Seriously???? Thank you for the nice chat and help! I've ordered somewhere else - Spain is also around the corner...
