My experience was made great by the excellent communication and more so the assistance of my student advisor.

My experience with UNICAF has been very positive due to the strong guidance offered and the response time throughout. One of the key strengths is the communication methods and response time to messages and other submissions.
In one instance there was a little mix-up with an interview time (I was working with an initial earlier time) and in no time it was sorted out and was able to have my interview done. They were very professional and i felt comfortable.

I enrolled with UNICAF due to financial constraints as I do not have the finances to throw around and waste (this knowledge will be useful later) and was sold on the idea of support, help and guidance on my academic studies.
Academic studies has been absolutely nowhere in sight, nothing academic for me however but an absolute shitshow of frustration, stress, confusion and delayed responses. Due to a virtually absent tutor who never bothered to communicate, interact or provide academic support, i was left to blindly solo my first module which lead me to a 65% pass and negatively impacting my CPA to 1.65. Refusal to remark my submitted work bearing in mind i had no teacher input. It was escalated to heads of the school of humanity but received absolute zero input. Forward to my next module, and there due to consistent tescher engagement, feedback and forum discussions, i passed well with 78% (see the difference between having a tutor who cant care to communicate and a teacher who does? Also important to note: you are sold an idea of timely feedback. Well, the feedback i got for that first module essay only came on 12 February when i was already HALFWAY through my second module). Also important to note that due to difference in formatting, Microsoft word shifts paragraphs and layouts which is understandably out of anyone's hands and control. I have been marked low marks due to presentation. Enter my change to PDF as a format which worked for the duration of my second module and first essay of my third module. All is fine until last night i get a message from my tutor that i got a grade 0% for second assignment due to my PDF not working. Despite communication attempts with tutor on how to resubmit my work that i converted back to Microsoft Word, i have got no feedback despite me submitting my work 3 days early than due date. My module ends on 29 March and I get feedback only on 26 March and a 0% grade with no way to resubmit work in a different format? Now i am faced with unaginable stress as i have finished my final essay of my third module which is 60% of the overall module grade. I am face with:
1. Do i risk losing marks on presentation and layout due to Word's layout and shifting of paragraphs which understandably look unprofessional OR
2. Do i risk failing the entire module on PDF file submission that does not open (of which PDF document submissions are acceptable files for submission according to Turnitin software)
It is stress that i face like this that has made all 3 modules of my study so far at this university absolutely nothing short of a shitshow of stress and emailing for help or assistance in anything is a joke, 3-5 working days for a response. My essay needs to be in before 3-5 days. The adminstration communication is absolutely non existent in this regard and lack of crucial, complex theories are left to be interpreted by students alone without tutor support without guidance which is the most alarming aspect here as a lack of tutor means a low grade (as what happened to me in the first module).
Just imagine the mental stress, despair, frustration and mental confusion for me or any student in this shitshow. And i paid alot (over 6000 dollar) for a 4 year degree course and this is only the shitshow im facing and im only 3 modules deep into this degree? (Alot of money scraped together to be thrown away on an illusion, like i mentioned above). Absolutely poor delivery of education and a complete lack of understanding what the purpose of higher education entails and role of academic guidance. Lack of academic support here isnt just stressful and fristrating but is a shining example of academic negligence.
Mentally i cant anymore as i am so stressed i battle to sleep due to stress, i cant function at work due to stress and overthinking and carry on daily work due to overthinking and stress. THIS IS NOT NORMAL. And to add insult to injury, there is no refund policy (so the money i barely made to pay for this joke of a degree has ultimately, been thrown away down the drain) unless i can just get my money back and leave this mental rollercoaster of a university i will be grateful as that tution money is money i really need and financially can help me in my actual life as financially i am not well off and i was sold a promise and dream and have yet to see anything of this dream
what made my experience great are listed below;
1. My student adviser Nyasha Fiona is very helpful and supported me throughout my application process. Her response time is also remarkable and provided all the required information need.
2. The website is user friendly and easy to follow through.

The company made obtaining a MBA at an internationally recognized university affordable. This is commendable. Also communication and advertisement was effective as every means was explored from Google ads, to facebook, to direct email communications, to WhatsApp and phone calls by the student advisors. However, an area that needs to be improved upon is clarity from the start on the eventual monthly cost of the programme which is one the major attraction to the MBA programme.

My experience with Unicaf University has been very positive and encouraging from the beginning. The application and scholarship process was clear, supportive, and well-structured, which made it easy to understand the requirements and opportunities available. Receiving the scholarship has been a significant milestone in my academic and professional journey, as it provides access to quality higher education while allowing me to continue contributing to my professional and community responsibilities.
As someone working in programme coordination and financial management within the public sector in Guyana, furthering my education through Unicaf University will strengthen my capacity to contribute more effectively to national development, youth empowerment, and institutional strengthening. The opportunity to study within an international academic environment while maintaining my professional commitments is particularly valuable.
I appreciate Unicaf University’s commitment to expanding access to higher education and professional development for students across different regions. I look forward to engaging fully in the academic community, enhancing my skills, and applying the knowledge gained to create meaningful impact in my field and community.

When I started looking into MBA programmes, cost was my biggest barrier. As a working IT professional in Nigeria, I needed something affordable without compromising on quality — UNICAF delivered on both.
The scholarship made the programme genuinely accessible, and the team was transparent about costs from day one with no hidden surprises.
The student support has been exceptional. A special mention to my student adviser — her patience, consistent follow-up, and personal attention kept me motivated throughout. She never made me feel like just another enrolment number, always checking in and making time for my questions.
One of the best investments I've made in myself. Highly recommended.
