Yesterday we celebrated my mother’s 90th birthday with an afternoon tea at Uncle Henry’s. It was perfect; from the delicious, homemade food to the engaged, friendly and helpful staff who served us. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you, Uncle Henry’s, for a wonderful afternoon.

Cafe is really good! nice local produce, the staff are all very polite and attentive, you can also buy a lot of their local produce in the shop and great day out for the kids

Heard so much about and thought give it a try. I was very disappointed with the breakfast. Sausage undercooked and not very good quality to what I’m use to (lots of gristle), tomato not cooked. Location good, shop looked nicely presented but wouldn’t hurry back.
40 mins wait for 2 cups of coffee which arrived later than the food from the kitchen No apologies offered. Uncle Henry’s is now a very expensive place to go, this cost is not reflected in the quality of the food or the level of service offered.
Ordered a cooked ham for our holiday to Cornwall as we do every year. Ordered 31/07 for collection today, arrived to pick it up only to find the kitchen have taken it. Offered a raw one to cook ourselves which won’t be easy in a caravan so declined. Won’t be using them not recommending them to everyone like I have previously. I wouldn’t say they were exactly cheap so I would expect more than this from them. They also need to improve their pest control as there were flies all over the meat in the glass counter.

We went today. 1st time. Served baquettes that the contents were cooked so ham and cheese. Then i ordered the bacon brie and cranberry well so over cooked no brie on baquette it had melted away. The cranberry not in baquette so went back and got...strawberry jam instead. So scrapped it off. I even heard staff mutter well shes eating it yes too bloody right Id paid for it!
Shocking!!! Went for a treat in the cafe.
Met by a sour woman at the till, very abrupt and obviously bad tempered.
Ordered 2 drinks and 2 bacon sandwiches...
Drinks weren't hot, no milk unless I asked for it for my tea, the bacon sandwiches awful, the bread wasn't even buttered and the bacon cold and full of fat costing me a fortune for something unedible! Some treat, once bitten twice shy, we won't be going back, that's a certainty.

Having visited this cafe on our biking travels it’s got to be said we will definitely not be returning. 2 toast , scrambled egg half a cup full of beans and a coffee they charged over £14 for this. Absolutely day light robbery!! You try and support local businesses and this is what they charge.
Never again.

Food lovely but drinks not hot! And how can you charge £1.60 for a shot of syrup!! Poor show Uncle Henry’s!!
Customer service at it's very best. I went to Uncle Henry's today and I went for a cup of tea with my mum. Due to my allergies a lot of places struggle to cater for me especially when looking at cakes however the staff really went out of their way to ensure I could have something and made me a strawberry pavlova which was exquisite. I couldn't recommend them enough what a truly wonderful place and no doubt I will be returning and fantastic food. Thank you so very much i truly appreciate all you do and thank you so much for making my day extra special. Kind Regards Stuart
I was given a voucher for £15 for an afternoon tea which was in date until June. When we came to use it we were charged £19.99 at the till. No refund was given even when we asked. Some of the staff quite abrupt and rude. Although the lady who served our table was pleasant.

Visited for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. Quality ingredients. Nice coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Also homeware, gifts and farm shop on site. Plenty of free parking. Outdoor children’s playground.
Have been a couple of times recently with and without children. Staff always pleasant and the food has always been great.
Love this place!
Great food (especially the breakfast), with a shop that is full of nice food and gifts etc. the kids love it here as well and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended
I popped in for breakfast and had the Salmon and Scrabbled egg. Really disappointed with it as it's seemed that the quality of the ingredients was quite poor and not a patch on the last time I went. Have they changed their suppliers? This used to be a little gem but I'm unsure whether this poor breakfast was a one off or have things started to go downhill?
Booked to do the Easter trail 5.00 pound for my 3 year old and 5 pound for myself , to walk around a “ secret garden “ that looked like it hadn’t been well kept for a long time , crazy golf advertised but poorly kept , bounce sheet not able to use but i understand this was due to weather but should of been noted … staff at reception took no notice of us at first once we said we had booked to do the trail we was given a sheet of paper and told to return back once we had done the trail( when we did we was ignored once again ) had to
Help ourselves to a few mini eggs wasn’t told
Where to go ) we Asked a staff member in the cafe where we should go and was spoken to abruptly and quite frankly very rude! Will not be re visiting and advise people not to visit
We found this hidden gem in our drive back home to London from North East. Pleasantly surprised, the food selection was amazing, fresh, tasty, and the service was best in class, Sausages are particularly great, I wouldn't miss a hot dog next time I visit. We have bookmarked it, for our next road adventure around Linconshire.
