I would never buy an Ultrahuman ring

I would never buy an Ultrahuman ring. I bought the 1st one and it went faulty 3 times. The 3rd time I was in Philippines without a smart watch and a faulty ring. So per force bough a 2nd UH rung which has now gone faulty 2 times already in 4 months. The UH support keeps promising a refund and then reviewing the case. This has been going on for 2 weeks. Waste of money and time. DONT BUY

My Ultrahuman Ring stopped connecting…

My Ultrahuman Ring stopped connecting to the app after less than a year of use.

At first, the support experience was smooth. I was asked to perform a 72-hour battery drain test without placing the ring on the charger. After the test, the issue still wasn’t resolved, so I had a short conversation with support and was promised a replacement device. Up to that point, everything seemed professional and efficient.

Unfortunately, things changed afterward. The shipping date for the replacement ring was changed at least five times. Initially, the system showed a 4-day delivery timeline, but in reality the new ring arrived after around 14 days. It’s also worth mentioning that I purchased the additional CoverX protection plan.

During that time, I contacted support multiple times asking for updates. I only received one meaningful reply, saying that the replacement ring was being tested before shipment, and they also sent me a FedEx return label for the defective device.

Overall, this has been one of the worst post-purchase support experiences I’ve had with consumer electronics.

For comparison, my wife’s Oura Ring failed a few weeks earlier. After reporting the issue, a replacement was shipped the very next day, and she received the new ring within two days.

2.5 Years with Ultrahuman — A Meaningful Part of My Wellness Journey

Been using the Ultrahuman Ring for around 2.5 years now, and honestly it has become a very consistent part of my wellness and health tracking journey.

What I genuinely appreciate about the product is how seamlessly it blends into daily life while still giving meaningful insights around sleep, recovery, movement, stress, and overall health awareness. The app experience, data depth, and continuous feature evolution have always stood out to me.

Terrible battery life after 1 year and awful support

I bought the Ultrahuman ring for 360 EUR (9000 CZK). After just one year, the battery degraded completely and doesn't even last 48 hours. The customer support is a joke. I tried the in-app chat multiple times and email. Every time they just say "we will reply in 48-72 hours" or "escalating to a higher manager". Now they want me to wait another 3 days. Total avoidance of warranty. My colleague has the exact same battery issue. Do not buy this expensive product, the hardware quality is poor and support is non-existent.

Waste of money & no customer service!

Ring broken after only a couple of months due to “software issue” - customer service / “chatbot” has been completely useless telling me the same message that they will escalate concerns and get back within 24-48 hours, it’s been nearly 2 weeks with no communication! £260 absolutely wasted don’t recommend buying the rings at all!

Not ready for prime time

Purchased ring Dec 2024, arr Jan 2025. Sleep data (why I purchased it) way off--sitting quietly, on cell ph, reading, watching TV = asleep. I notified the co, was told to give it time to learn my pattern. Battery life was never 4-5 days, 3 at most. Despite my better judgement, I gave benefit of the doubt and didn't return for refund. Oh, and since they don't ship a charging brick, good luck finding a lower volt version....I found a Samsung ph charger on Amz that works. Eventually, months later, sleep tracking got much better. They added chill mode that gave battery a boost (still not 5 days). Data storage n sync started dropping off after 4 months. There are weeklong gaps in my data every month. Multiple resets, firmware updates requiring them to intervene n push it, lack of syncing unless in charger, squirrelly battery now--showing 35% chg, suddenly 100% chg after placing on charger for a minute; clock went 12 hrs off--sleep showing noon to 6 pm...
When it worked, it was pretty good. Never lived up to the hype. Now out of wty, & "due to ITC" they are "unable to send replacement". Needless to say, huge disappointmt for the $$. Not ready for prime time. Next gen model w charger now @ $500. Fool me once, shame on you...as the saying goes. Buyer beware.

I had a terrible experience with Ultrahuman air ring

I had a very disappointing experience with the Ultrahuman Ring AIR. I used it for about a month, and instead of improving my health tracking experience, it caused a severe skin reaction on my finger. The irritation became painful, with redness, itching, and discomfort that continued even after I stopped wearing the ring.

For a product positioned as a premium health and wellness wearable, this was completely unacceptable. I followed normal hygiene and usage guidelines carefully, so this reaction was both surprising and concerning.

Due to these issues, I returned the ring, but I still have not received my refund. The customer support experience has been equally frustrating. There is no proper support channel or real person available to speak with directly, and I’ve had to do multiple follow-ups just to get basic updates.

Overall, the product quality, after-sales service, and refund handling did not match the premium pricing or marketing claims at all. A device meant to support health should not end up causing health problems and customer stress.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this product, especially for people with sensitive skin or anyone expecting reliable customer support.

Awful experience... Still ongoing

ordered an Ultrahuman Ring and unfortunately the colour was not what I expected. I contacted customer service and was initially impressed — they responded quickly and advised me to return the ring for a replacement. At that point, I thought their customer support was excellent.
However, once I sent the ring back, everything changed. I heard nothing regarding the replacement, emails and WhatsApp messages were ignored, and the phone number on the website was impossible to get through to. The only time I finally received a response was after I explained that I would be taking the matter further. I was then told a replacement ring would be sent soon.
The replacement eventually arrived, but it has never connected or worked properly. I followed all the troubleshooting steps recommended, with no success. I reached out to support again for help and, once more, received no response.
At this point, even if the issue was fixed, I’ve completely lost confidence. When spending over £300 on a device, I expect reliable customer service and support when problems arise. Instead, I’ve been left with a ring that has never worked, no meaningful assistance, and I’m out of pocket.
I’m extremely disappointed. My overall experience with both the product and customer service has been overwhelmingly negative, and unfortunately I cannot recommend it based on my experience.

Don't waste your money

I have been wearing the ring for about 4 weeks now. I have found it to be useless.
1. It doesn't measure your steps accurately. It is approx 2500 steps out daily.
2. It doesn't measure you sleep accurately. It constantly says I've had more sleep than I have had eg. saying I've had 8 hours when I've been up for 3 hours reading and talking to my husband.
3. Vo2 max is double what my iwatch says.
I have lost any confidence that the ring is accurate in anything, if these core measurements are wrong.
Dont' waste your money!

Barely a year and my ring is unusable (wouldn’t recommend buying).

Within a year of use my ring stopped charging and showed signs of a defective battery (began bulging on the inside). I tried connecting with support and was looped through the AI troubleshooting several times. Eventually, I received a prompt that I would be connected to human support, but I never was. Days later I decided to email support directly, and it took several days for them to follow up. Once they finally responded and confirmed what I said about my ring through pictures I sent (more days of back and forth), they told me my warranty had ended (two days prior to our email conversation) and due to the ITC ruling I couldn’t be helped. I questioned how the ITC ruling prevented them from providing me with customer service, and was informed by another agent that I was misinformed and it was only an issue of the warranty. Had I not received the runaround via their customer service channels, I would not have been in the position to have been out of warranty. As mentioned by other reviewers, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Additionally, for a $300+ product, I expected to get more use than barely a year out of it. It looks like though from reading other reviews it is a common experience.

Prior to this point, the overall performance of the ring and app for me were okay. I occasionally experienced some inconsistencies in readings and the ring often struggled to detect workout activities.

I wouldn’t recommend purchasing an Ultrahuman ring as it doesn’t seem like the current quality (of the product or the customer service) is worth the cost. It appears there’s a high chance of getting a faulty product and given the lack of customer service, I wouldn’t suggest taking the risk.

I purchased my Ultrahuman ring in…

I purchased my Ultrahuman ring in October 2025 I’ve had numerous problems with this ring to include having to return their first ring I bought because it kept overheating. It wouldn’t connect took it back to Scheels got a new ring. Everything was good for a couple of months and then I noticed it’s stopped holding a charge inside liner of the ring slowly started falling apart. I reached out to Ultrahuman customer service on their app. I was speaking to their AI to troubleshoot the problems. Did everything it asked me to do asked to speak to a human sent me to what was supposed to be a human and never got a response. Tried multiple days multiple times during business hours and all it does is keep me in the queue and says that there’s heavy volume. I’ve tried many many times even spending a couple hours when I’m and still never getting a response. This ring is less than a year old and they are not honoring the warranty that comes with this ring. They keep avoiding speaking with me or reaching out to me to honor there faulty ring. I hope if your thinking of getting this product you will rethink it because they do not honor there warranty.

I bought a ring from a third party…

I bought a ring from a third party vendor brand new. Loved it for 4 months then the battery would drain within a day so I could no longer use it. I now have been contacting “customer service” for almost a month trying to get a new ring which I am entitled to under warranty and I’ll I’ve gotten is a BS AI generated answer telling me someone will get back to me in 24-48 hours which never happens. Then I go back and ask for an update and get the same stupid response. This company is a joke and is a waste of time and money. Awful. No wonder they can’t be sold in the US anymore. I wish I never purchased a ring.

After more than a year using…

After more than a year using Ultrahuman rings, I can honestly say I’ve always been impressed by the excellence, the level of detail in the app, and the quality of the information they provide.

Every single time I had any issue or question, their support team was absolutely excellent with me. I’m truly a loyal fan of the brand. I really appreciate their support, professionalism, kindness, and the fact that you are speaking with real people, not robots. I always felt supported and never abandoned in any situation I faced with them.

I’ve already placed the pre-order for my new ring, and I definitely recommend them.

Another thing I genuinely appreciate is that many of their plugins and advanced insights are included for free, unlike other brands that charge extra for data and features that Ultrahuman already delivers at an exceptionally professional level inside the app.

Unfortunately, I believe many of the one-star reviews come from frustration during isolated situations. But from my personal experience, the support Ultrahuman provided me was not something rare or accidental , it reflects the way they genuinely choose to deal with customers and problems. I can not wait to get my new ring, so COOL!

Great when it works, but it doesn't work for long

The ring is great when it works.

However the ring seems to have a lifespan of less than a year. In c. 18 months I have had two rings. One replaced on warranty. The second ring has failed as the first did (failing to hold charge for more than 12-24 hours).

Ultra human customer service say they will replace the ring with a refurbed item as a "goodwill" gesture as the ring is now out of the one year warranty period (based on the original purchase date of ring number 1).

However the replacement ring never comes and I get nothing from the customer service chat bot who algorithmically refuses to connect me to a human operator.

For context, a UH ring cost c. £350. UK and last on average 9 months before it fails based on the two rings I've had. That's c. £38.89 per.month before the ring is functionally useless.

It's terrible value for money based on my experience. Do yourself, and your bank balance, a favour, avoid UH like the plague.

Awful product, awful value for money, and awful customer service.

UPDATE: UH offered a new ring via e-mail. Accepted the offer. Now communication has stopped again. This seems to be a operating model. React to negative responses with empty promises.

Defective ring, refund refused — EU consumer rights ignored

Bought an Ultrahuman Ring Air directly from Ultrahuman. The ring failed and stopped recording any data. I contacted support through the in-app chat and went through every troubleshooting step they asked for, including a full factory reset. Nothing changed: the ring records absolutely nothing.

At that point I asked for a full refund. This is where the real problem started.

The support team has been completely unresponsive on the actual issue. I get scripted replies like "please hold on while we look into this for you" and "please let us know if there's anything else we can assist you with" — and then silence. When I reply, they ignore me, close the conversation, or pass me to another agent who asks me to start over. Days pass between answers. No one with authority to authorize a refund ever shows up.

I am an EU consumer resident in Cyprus. Under EU Directive 2019/771, when a repair attempt fails I have the right to terminate the contract and receive a full refund. Ultrahuman is not respecting this. They are using exhaustion tactics: stalling, generic replies, dead-end loops, hoping the customer gives up.

Reading other reviews here it's clear this is a pattern, not an isolated case. Defective hardware (battery issues, Bluetooth issues, sensors that stop working), then a support team designed to wear you out instead of resolve anything. Several reviewers report that refunds were only processed after they posted on Trustpilot — which tells you everything about how this company treats paying customers.

What I'm doing next:
– Filing a chargeback with my card issuer for a defective product
– Submitting a formal complaint to the European Consumer Centre Cyprus (ECC-Net)
– Keeping full transcripts of every chat as evidence

To anyone considering Ultrahuman: the ring may work for some, but if it fails you are completely on your own. There is no real after-sales service. Save your money and buy from a company that respects EU consumer law. I deeply regret this purchase and the Ring PRO I had pre-ordered before all this is going to be canceled as well.

Don’t waste your money

Don’t forget water your money. The concept or the idea of getting the ring with no subscription price is great but I got a dead on arrival ring which means it never worked from the get go, never used etc. there “support” is non existent. I went through the appropriate channels with not a single response. The only reason I got was from a bot telling me someone will be in contact within 24/48 hours. I’ve now been chasing it up for 5 days. TO ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY IT DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Premium Price, Budget Reliability

I genuinely cannot believe how unreliable the Ultrahuman Ring AIR has been. This is easily the most dissatisfied I’ve ever been with a tech product.

Since buying it in December 2025, I’ve had constant issues:
- The app crashing repeatedly
- Workouts not logging properly
- Completely inaccurate step counts (including recording 33,000+ steps while I was literally sitting in a car)
- Syncing failures
- And now the ring hasn’t synced any data whatsoever for 5 days

For a product marketed as premium health tech, the software experience is shockingly poor. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt for months, hoping updates would improve things, but the issues just kept happening.

What’s most frustrating is that these aren’t minor bugs - they affect the core functions of the ring. A health tracker that can’t reliably sync or track activity is essentially useless.

At this point I don’t even want a replacement because I’ve completely lost confidence in the product.

Would not recommend, especially at this price point.
