I ordered a A13 0696R thermostat for fridge freezer it show photo of electric terminals and was exactly what I had so I order it took two weeks to come and when it arrived the three connection terminals were on my thermostat and the photo on whitegoods site became four and does not fit my fridge, I emailed them and they informed me if you look in the small print they have the right to send a alternative as they don’t make the one I want, I informed them the photo on there site is what I want only for them to tell me that’s a old model and don’t make now. I ask them to send me a return label paid for as it’s them that sent me the wrong part only to be told you want refund I got to pay for return to get refund I never order from this company again reply to seller why put photos on of thermostat that you can’t sell and why put small print at end of page ok it’s in red but should be by photo of thermostat this note was at bottom of page past where you order and information make it clear by photo you won’t get this thermostat as they don’t make it now. Take the photo off and put photo of what you are going to send misleading

The bit right there, in the description in bright red text and most certainly not in small print, that reads...

"For most models this thermostat has changed and will not be the same as the old one, it is not a direct swap!"

Wasnt enough of a hint or obvious enough for you apparently?

Perhpas we should try huge bright flashing neon signs of warning in pop ups for you as apparently you struggled to see that.

We have no clue who you are or what part it is or if you're even a customer as Trustpilot doesn't allow us to see anything so, we can't comment other than to say, we don't supply used or faulty items.

Will use again if need be. Looked at loads of websites and UK Whitegoods were the only ones who stated genuine part in the description, gave dimensions and the models that it's compatible with. Fitted in 5 minutes and now our Kenwood Tall Fridge can be opened easily with it's nice new door handle. Ordered 18th December and it arrived 23rd December, even with the postal service industrial action. Very happy. Thanks very much

Replacement thermal fuse for Leisure…

Replacement thermal fuse for Leisure Range Oven (#4410101001).

Component works perfectly as described and has restored our oven back to full functionality for a fraction of the cost of getting an engineer out / a new oven.

Deducted 1 star as (at the time of writing) the installation photos are missing from the web page despite being referenced in the text description ("Important! The new replacement thermostat MUST be mounted as shown on the photos if incorrectly fitted the part will fail quickly again and the fault will reoccur. This part replaces the old design on the photographs.")

All in all very happy and would order again from this supplier.

Awful awful customer service

Please read the negative reviews and their replies on here - its the most unprofessional company ive come across. We ordered a part based on the photo on the webpage, the item which arrived looks nothing like it - its different shape (so wont fit), longer spindle (so wont fit) and the rating label is completely different (150mA instead of 0.135A shown on website)
Looks like legal action will be the only option with this company

Sadly the one that you ordered is incorrect for the model that you say you have, an LG GWL207FBQA for which you need part number 4681JB1029A and not 4681JB1029B as you ordered and were sent, quite correctly as ordered.

Parts styles, colours and so on can alter depending on what the manufacturer provides.

But on every part, in the More Info tab we specifically advise against ordering from images, for this reason, among others and it is good to highlight this to buyers as, for example, in this instance, you could not, from one sole image tell:

- The shaft length
- Shaft diameter
- Mounting used in the appliances it is intended for
- Direction of rotatiion
- Operating speed of rotation
- Polarity of the motor
- Wiring of the plug
- Any keying of the plug to fit

None of this could be determined from the image and therefore you must use the make, model etc to determine the suitability and only then use the image as a confirmation.

For many tens of thousands of parts, you cannot rely solely on an image to identify them.

However, all of the above means that even had the motor had been the exact same as shown in the image and unchanged by LG that you could not have known from an image if the part would physically fit, operate as required in your model or indeed even have worked at all.

All we did was send the part that was ordered, no more, no less.

And returned in accordance with the instructions that have been sent the order will be refunded as we have stated to you in multiple communications.

We understand that this is not the outcome you wanted and that you are disappointed and even further as the motor you require is not available with no ETA but we have provided the part number so that you may try to search for one in the hope that someone may have one somewhere.

You don't get what you want so, you just tell lies or omit swathes of truth, really, is that the best you can do?

**YOU** ordered the cheaper compatible part when the genuine ws available then whine about the quality.

You had a choice, you chose as cheap as you could possibly get. And, didn't even ask in advance if it was better or worse.

So, who's at fault here again?

Good customer service

Purchased some replacement glass for my cooker but due to their supplier being out of stock the delivery time would have been longer than I wished to wait, so I messaged saying I wished to cancel. Within 3 hours they had issued the refund and it was back in my bank, I was very impressed and will definitely use again in future. Thanks Whitegoods so being so quick in your responses.

Fake Parts

I purchased a replacement dishwasher basket bearing which warped after a few cycles. Clearly not an original part as stated due to the poor quality of the plastic. Mr Kenneth Watt refused a return or refund and was quite rude and patronizing in his email replies.

Reply from UK Whitegoods

Clearly this is untrue.

Because there are no compatible parts, therefore, it would be impossible to supply non-original parts as such a thing, as you claim to have gotten, simply doesn't exist.

If telling you that is rude and patronising and being good at what we do then, yeah, we are that.

Thanks for your "review".

Delivery service is a con IMO

Chose the premium delivery service for £7.95, stated as being not "next day" but "as quickly as possible", so having ordered in Weds it only came today. So don't be conned into thinking, as I did, that if you pay them more in order to to keep your wife happy, you'll get it the next day - I could probably have got exactly the same service from Liebherr for £15 less.

Rude

Absolutely terrible customer service, can’t believe how rude they are. An order still not received after 2 months after asking what’s happening get some sarcastic reply and how they don’t care if I cancel my order as it means nothing to them and it will just go to someone else. Seriously avoid at all costs.

Given we've no clue who you are it is hard to respond but, if it is as suspected a backorder part, sadly we're not responsible for global supply issues.

You can take that as rude if you choose to but, it's the truth whether you find it palatable or not.

Dishwasher heat pump

My Siemens dishwasher through up the E09 fault. A bit of searching online came back with the heat pump needed replacing.

Various sites couldn't provide my model, or come back with a maybe. I've used whitegoods before, so filled in the query form on a Saturday night, and had a response the next morning. Genuine part and pattern part offered. Part ordered, delivered quickly. Fitted, Dishwasher back up and running for £85. Callout fee from Siemens was £125 alone, a nice cost saving for some home tinkering.

Charged more than part advertised for.

Part ordered on website advertised at £11.95 and later found a greater amount had been charged to my account. I confirmed the price online was indeed showing as £11.95 before contacting them to obtain a refund what I thought was a simple administrative error on their system. I received rude replies to my emails, stating that the screenshots I sent of their website couldn't possibly be right and their website doesn't state that. Apparently it was my phones fault.

I checked on a different device and sent screenshots on that and received a reply to basically tell me it was the old price, their websites don't advertise it at that price (despite sending visual proof) and that the content displayed on their website isn't their fault.

I gave up emailing as the tone of the "customer service" operative was quite unbelievable, as you can probably tell from their less than professional replies to people's reviews also. I will have to take it up with my bank as a fraudulent transaction for the amount taken.

I wouldn't recommend this company as information on website is poorly managed, and the ego of the company representative appears to overtake all common decency.

Well, as you asked so nicely for a comment that you will no doubt regard as "rude" what was said and, what is TRUE, is;

We cannot in any way, like almost any online retailer, "charge" you anything more than is on display at checkout.

It is technically not possible to do so.

Therefore what you accuse of us of doing, is not possible to do in any way whatsoever. Meaning that what you assert is untrue and therefore potentially libellous and could be subject to legal action as it is extremely easy to demonstrate that what you state is wholly untrue.

And to accuse of any "fraudulent" activity is most certainly libellous and we may well consider action if these comments are not rescinded forthwith.

You cannot just say whatever you like without consequence. It must be true and accurate and what you have stated above is demonstrably untrue.

And, as you saw for yourself, the order does show the correct amount.

What we said was, we have no idea how you got this different amount or from where. We did not apportion blame to anything or anyone as we do not have the evidence to do so.

live talk are rude and don`t want to listen to customers 0/10

stupidly sent for a part and for some reason i used the pictures on the part page as a ref to the side i wanted but sure enough it was the wrong side and when i tried to explain this i got all the excuses from kenarth as to why it was my fault i was only letting them know the pictures on left and right should be switched clowns, no reason to be so rude and pushy on live chat i admit clowns is not right the reply i got was so much worse, it should be t***s, i did send model number and matched it with the part as there were two listed on your website each with a different side picture not the same side as a generic pic would be but it seems your always right even in the wrong

Well, you didn't explain yourself as you didn't offer what model you wanted it for nor what side you wanted.

And as we advise, on every part, images are often stock from makers etc and should not be used solely to identify parts.

So, you may say "clowns" but we'd not agree and had you asked about the part before ordering wed have looked it up, advised and there would have been no error. You didn't.

I cannot recommend this seller

I did not receive new, fitting products but instead products that were scratched and marked and that did not fit my washing machine model. The customer service was pretty rude and informed me that there was nothing they could do since I had opened the product and tried to assemble it. I do not think this is acceptable and I would never buy anything from this company again.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. I ordered some parts for my washer dryer and checked through the long list of machine model numbers to check that they were correct for my machine. The parts arrived, my husband took my washer dryer to bits only to find the parts didn’t fit! I emailed the company only to get a response saying that it is why the website states to check suitability before ordering. Why state it fits my machine when it doesn’t. A complete waste of money. I will never buy from them again.

The awful correspondence from this company is disgraceful. I did not buy the cheapest kit, I purchased the kit which said it fitted my machine (LG only make one machine with my model number which was clearly stated in the description of the part I ordered) I screen shot this on their website and highlighted the model number and even sent a picture of my machine showing the same model number. I might have ordered the wrong kit but it was due to an incorrect product description which lists the wrong compatible model numbers

Reply from UK Whitegoods

And as per your other "review" you are talking complete rubbish.

Whoever ordered that kit, you or whoever, completely ignored the **CLEAR** advice to check as multiple kits are used in the same model numbers.

Whoever ordered, chose to ignore that warning. Did not ask. Ignored the advice to check the bearing size and just ordered the cheapest kit, demonstrated by the fact that it was in bits by the time you realised this.

Three points ignored, any one of which would have saved you from getting the wrong part.

That is not our fault, that is the fault of the person that ordered the item and you should take it up with them, not us.

And honestly, if you're that careless and prone to ignoring clear advice please don't order from us again as we can live without the hassle, thanks.

UKWhitegoods was recommended by the old UK supplier of Elica.
I ordered a new control switch assembly to replace that on my Elica cooker hood.
My credit and debit cards were not accepted so I used Amazon pay, which uses my credit card.
Ordered on the 21st, delivered on the 30th. Safely packaged.
It fits perfectly.
