A man called Dean cold called my 89 year mother and tried to persuade her to have her boiler and radiator system checked and replaced or improved. Luckily my mother phoned me and I told Dean to leave. This is not a malicious review, it is my expereince of how Dean operated, he even tried to pressure me on the phone. I intend to report UK Home Serve to Trading Standards.

Matthew explained everything so clearly and showed me the images of all my radiators that had an enormous build up of sludge in them. No wonder they had been so inefficient over the last few years! The team of Kelvin and Declan came to sort it out. With the machine they used I saw all the sludge come out and believe me it was a huge amount. They managed to get every radiator working to what they should be hot all over! I am absolutely delighted with the end result a nice warm toastie home and it will certainly save me money on my oil bills.

Arrived on time explained what they were going to do, flush the central heating, fit new filter, bleed and balance radiators, fit radiator shields. All done in a cheerful and professional manner, hopefully in due course will reap the rewards with lower bills.

Very easy experience - 10 am Dean arrived, checked our system thoroughly and showed us the build up of sludge in our radiators and calculated the efficiency of our radiators - highest 62%, lowest 40% (most of our 11 were only in the 40's. Discussed the savings should we have a new filter and a whole system flush. Agreed to have these jobs done.
1 pm the guys arrived to complete the work. V cheerful and chatty, worked quickly and cleanly. 2.45 pm all completed. The amount off sludge removed was incredible.
Would certainly recommend having it done, and these guys to do it (Calven and his workmate).

They were efficient and explained what they were doing as they went along. Polite and cheerful.

Good job done by Kelvin in good time - very clean and explained all the way. Thank you very much - hope it’s now going to save me some money on myfuel bills.
