Scam site - AVOID - This needs to be shutdown
Scam site. I wasn't familiar with the brand and on the surface it looked legit. I was interested in the laser alignment tool for the rear derailleur and thought the price was reasonable given an impulse buy.
As I checked out the item and it processed my Visa card, I was redirected to another site and an error came up as it was trying to process an auto-renewal?!? I was perplexed and then an error code came up. Thinking I did something wrong, I went back to the site and chose another option of payment (there are two type of credit card links). I was prompted with an authorization message from Visa which my bank sent a code. When I inputted the code in, I received an error. I tried a couple of times and each time it got rejected. Frustrated I gave up.
Next day, I was suspicious and checked my Visa card and sure enough it had been compromised. I checked the address of the website and it pointed to a Walmart in the US. Checking on reddit and bike forums it was a scam site. Learn from my mistake and avoid.
