I paid Trustico over £330 for a certificate. Then it turned out that they had introduced new verification requirements since I last bought a certificate from them. They wouldn't issue a certificate, and they also refused to refund my money. Fortunately other SSL providers with a better reputation were willing to figure something out for me that worked.

I've never been treated like this by any other company.

Scam artists, in my opinion. Do not trust them, and do not use their services. I do not regard them as a legitimate company.

I was affected by their releasing of private keys forcing revocation of many ssl certificates. It turned out mine wasn't actually affected but they caused so much confusion that I had no alternative but to get the certificate re-issued. They cannot be trusted as they shouldn't be storing private keys let alone releasing them through the internet. Personally I wouldn't give them 1 star.

This company is breaking the Chain of Trust for certificates.
It should be banned.
If you use it, you risk your site authentication. And when its rights are revoked, your site will stop working.
They are just cheap resellers.
Do not use them.

I ordered my Comodo certificate for my online store very easily and it's all working perfectly.

Easy to order, nice to deal with. Would of been better if I could pay using Diners Club, but I used American Express instead.

The certificate I ordered was delivered straight away to my email and the process was quite easy. Phone support was good too.

Certs of trustico (RapidSSL) is just a "customer fishing" product. Certs don't work on any mobile phone client, nevertheless trustico promises to have them working on 99.9% of worldwide clients.

When it comes to guaranteed money back guarantee, trustico just tries to sell more expensive certs and isn't paying back any money. If you ask back for money refund there is just no answer anymore of trustico. It was a blind-date with trustico that I am just trying to forget. Don't trust in trustico.

Addendum to your response: On May 31, 2016 your staff wrote to me in response to my bad experience with mobile devices: "The RapidSSL certificates will work with 99.9% of Browsers, however they will not work with all mobile devices, as stated on our website". Unfortunately this information is not stated on your website as far as I could see. Besides this, it's not nice to promise full money back guarantee for any kind of reason and then just don't answer again when it comes down to it. I'm sorry for you, but you may now comprehend bad rating.

On their website, they say you can get a money back guarantee within 7 days of purchase. What a sham. I accidentally ordered a trust seal and cancelled the order on their website and via phone within 1 hour of the order. Even though it wasn't issued, they never cancelled the order.

When I followed up again with Trustico, they claim I never had the conversation (they didn't see the cancellation request in notes). Because I didn't have the proof in e-mail format, they wouldn't budge. The customer service rep, was antagonistic and actually rude to me. I ended up telling him that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company which I did. They said they would fight me (even though the trust seal was never issued). I ended up winning but learned my lesson about working with this company.

The fact that they have a 5.4 rating is a good indicator that I am not alone in my experience. You'll notice in every response, they refuse to accept responsibility and always blame the consumer. This is on par with my customer service experience. Trustico's motto: Blame the customer

I ordered a RapidSSL certificate with them, because they seemed reasonably priced and promised that it would be "issued within minutes".
Well, make that 12 hours and two unanswered support inquiries later... still nothing.

Paypal payment cleared near real-time, approver email came through and was processed on my end, order processing was confirmed by them, but their tracking system still shows "pending; order queued".

Dreadful service for a company who claims to be present in several countries and who promises to deliver within minutes. Even the promised response time to email inquiries (3-12 hours) is up in a couple of minutes.

During the order process, you are required to recieve a email on a few select addresses to verify the sign request.

I didnt have email activated on the domain in question and had to abandon the process, but I saved the URL just incase their ordering system was nice.

A few hours later I reloaded the url from a different IP address, and I was able to resume the process :)

Brilliant service, straight forward, fast and easy to understand even for someone who's not experienced at installing certificates. The whole process is quick and secure and you get everything you need. Highly recommended.

The process of buying and creating an SSL certificate couldn't be easier. You don't need to create a separate csr file as this can be created automatically. I had my certificate ready to apply to the web server within 15 minutes of requesting the certificate. I would recommend the service to anyone and will definatley purchase all my future SSL certificates here.

Ultimately the certificate works, and tools were provided to convert to the format I needed for IIS7.

However the process was delayed a bit because I missed some information requesting that I fax (!?) some documentation over. I probably should have read more carefully but this was one of 4 lengthy and very wordy emails generated in the order process (including 1 'up-sell' attempt) and so the information was too easy to miss in my opinion.

Overall it worked, but it's not a complex business and information could have been simpler and clearer in my opinion.

Having ordered a RapidSSL certificate from Turstico for the first time I was not only surprised by the reduced cost but also the ease in which the order process is carried out.

I will definitely look to Trustico first in future when I require a certificate

Super easy to get a SSL

As long as you have a standard host with a standard configuration, you should have no worries. Good value for money, smooth, hassle free sign up and payment process.

But God help you if you your configuration is slightly off the standards settings they expect, as was our case. We sent a support email request which to date (two weeks) has not been replied too. You can´t opt for the premium installation fee after you´ve signed up, only during the enrollment process. If you do, you´re looking for a three week delay.

However, the chat based tech support is VERY good, very knowledgeable and quick, which is a plus.

Was happy with the process. Been using Trustico for many years now.

Had to send an email as the cert hadnt arrived. Had an email explaining almost by return.

The certificate installed perfectly. I will order from you again
