Went with my partner to have a piercing and the process was very smooth Paul on reception was very helpful, Crystal performed the piecing, very attentive , customer focused and a lovely person. I enlisted True Colours for a full sleeve design and worked with James and Benj. They assured me that between them, they'd create an incredible sleeve, but my experience was the opposite.Neither invested any time in crafting the design, nor did they incorporate any of the images or ideas I provided via email. The sleeve remains incomplete, and I've opted not to return. I've already spent £1,000 and now must seek another studio for a complete cover-up of what they've permanently applied to my skin. It's shocking that they consider themselves artists. I contacted the studio manager, Paul, to voice my dissatisfaction with not only the quality but also the feeling of being financially exploited. He promised to call back, yet three weeks have passed with no response. If someone accused me of poor ethics and cheating clients, I would have promptly addressed it within the hour.If you're contemplating a new tattoo, steer clear of this place. Choose from the many other local studios that genuinely care about the craftsmanship of their permanent work. Don't be misled by their so-called awards or the images they post online. Take this warning seriously.

My first tattoo…highly recommend. On arrival atmosphere was fabulous, relaxing so friendly and very helpful, thank you Pauly Paul 😊 My tattooist Justin was very talented and made me feel very comfortable he absolutely nailed exactly what I wanted and was very good with me making sure i was 100% happy with image and where it was going - I would highly recommend True Colours for your tattoos they have various skilled tattooists and will match you to the right one for the tattoo you want … @justintheskin

Amazing piece of work by Joanna, my second tattoo here and second great experience. I asked for a dragon armband but could not find any examples to show what I wanted. Joanna designed exactly what I wanted freehand and the finished article is amazing. Great welcome as soon as you walk through the door and a great team. I would recommend for customer service and final result.

Commissioned true colours to design a full sleeve for me. Used James and Benj. Was advised by both that between them I would have an awesome sleeve, nothing could be further from the truth.

Both spent zero time on the design. They didn't use any pictures/ideas I sent in via email. The sleeve is only half finished and i have refused to go back. So far i have paid £1k and now having to go to another studio for a complete cover up from what they have stuck on my skin. How these can call themselves artists is criminal. I rang and spoke to the studio manager Paul and expressed my disappointment at not only the quality of work but how I also felt I was being ripped off by them. He mentioned he would call me back to discuss, its now been over 3 weeks and nothing. I'm sorry but if someone accused me of bad practice and ripping customers off I would have been back in touch within an hour.

My advice to anyone who's thinking of getting a new tattoo avoid these guys like the plaque and go to one of the many other local studios that actually care about the quality of work they permanently mark on your body. Don't be fooled by the so called awards they have or by the work that's on their socials. You've been warned guys.
