Unserious and scammers! I bought some workshop equipment. When picking up the equipment on the agreed date and place, I found that there was no forklift to load the equipment at the location, although the advertisement clearly stated that a forklift would be available for loading free of charge, and another problem was that some of the equipment was not dismantled, and this was not specified in the advertisement, which is why I could not pick up the purchased lot. I also paid the carrier the price for the agreement, although I only picked up part of the lot, the carrier, who is not at fault, lost an extra day in the hope that the situation would be resolved. In addition, the Troostwijk delegates were uncooperative and unprofessional. I will never buy anything from them again and I will also take them to court!

Very simple to order and pay

My first experience with Troostwijk Auctions has been very positive so far. The auction platform is easy to use, bidding is straightforward, and all costs are clearly displayed before placing a bid. I especially appreciated the wide selection of professional equipment and the detailed lot information.

The checkout and payment process was smooth, and I received the invoice immediately after the auction ended. Customer support has also been responsive when I had questions.

I am now looking forward to collecting my purchased items. If everything goes as smoothly as the bidding process, I will definitely continue using Troostwijk Auctions and recommend the platform to others looking for quality equipment at competitive prices.

If you're considering buying anything through Troostwijk Auctions, think twice. I've purchased several items from them over the years, and I can honestly say that my experience has been consistently disappointing.

The biggest issue is that even after winning an auction and paying for the item, you never really know if you'll actually receive what you paid for. The entire process feels disorganized and unreliable, which is the last thing you expect from an auction platform.

On top of that, I've received items that were advertised as new or in excellent condition but turned out to be damaged or significantly different from what was presented. In my experience, the descriptions and photos often do not accurately reflect the actual condition of the items.

Customer support has been equally frustrating. Whenever there was a problem, getting meaningful assistance was almost impossible. Responses were slow, unhelpful, and I was left with the impression that resolving customer issues was not a priority.

After several purchases, I have completely lost confidence in this company. In my opinion, their business practices are so poor that they deserve serious scrutiny from consumer protection authorities. I would strongly advise anyone considering buying from Troostwijk Auctions to think carefully before placing a bid.

This has been one of the worst auction platform experiences I've had. I will never use their services again, and I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Very very poor performance of the website. I always have to refresh the item pages about 10-20 times untill i can finally bid on a lot. I already lost a lot of lots because of this. Since about some months the performance is unbelivably bad and just getting worse and worse. I will stop bid there if this won't get better.

They allow scammers. Then when pointed at scam activity(promise goods, take money, then don't deliver goods), the scammer gets protected.

Troostwijck ‘opened’ a few departments outside the Netherlands to comply regionally laws but are difficult to reach. Their Dutch customer service is typical Dutch customer service: none existent.

In short: not recommended.

The web site is great. Nevertheless, to increase a better experience for the costumer, when the auction has a lot of "pages" (40, 50, 100) we could be able to scroll the pages without the need of seeing them all and pick up one in the middle. The time spend to see a lot of pages (all pages) is, in most cases, useless and not very motivating. For small itens we find transportation expensive compared to regular services, sometimes several times the price of the good. That could be improved. Sometimes the sellers do not give relevant/important info about the products; if that is the case, the seller should be asked to add it to the advertisement.

The company has a good website, with almost full information about what do you want to buy and documents.

As a small business owner I buy lot of items from troostwijk , platform provides very clear pictures and description of items it auctions.The prices are very affordable and creates a nice value chain for business's who can trade the item again at higher value. Really love the platform. Support team is also very responsive.

Do not bother dealing with Troostwijk Auctions, specifically their Eastern Europe/Lithuania representative, Lina Klemaite. I have never encountered an employee so lazy and unresponsive. Getting a reply to an email took upwards of two weeks, stretching a simple process out for a month of wasted time.
After zero success with the initial auction, she refused to relist the items. Furthermore, she refused to list a brand-new asset worth over €20,000, arrogantly claiming it was too "cheap" and unprofitable for them to bother with.

Terrible customer service, terrible communication, and zero professionalism and the biggest stupidity demonstrated by this individual.
Save yourself the headache and go to a competitor.

Good reason is probably laziness or simply she understood that I’m not the one of thousands who could be cheated by Troostwijk.
