I moved out of a home with gigabit internet connection into a flat that could only achieve 70mbps via Sky broadband. I like to think when I moved in a year ago that Trooli wasn't in the area at the time, so I just had to sit and wait the ~6 hours whenever I wanted to update my Xbox game.
That was until last week when I checked again, and Trooli said they DID operate in my area. I live in a flat above the shop and am unaware that anyone there has any internet faster than the standard 70mbps ish. I thought it would be a tricky install for such fast internet. I called Trooli in the first instance to try and see what work needed to be done on the property as it was rented. I spoke to Connor Wise and he answered all of my questions perfectly. He did say to get back to him once I decide on the installation, but I did not as was a spur of the moment midnight order so I do hope he gets some credit.
I needed the permission of my landlord, who I regarded as a tech-dinosaur (hope he won't see this =]) and thought my luck would be out. I spoke to my landlord and explained in toddler terms what Trooli is and what they need to do. Turns out my landlord already has Trooli in his property and gave permission in a flash, even recommended it. Not the dinosaur I so thought.
When I originally moved in to the flat I had to get Openreach to establish the connection. There was around a two week wait. The first time they didn't arrive. The second time they arrived late and I missed them due to work. The third time and nearly a month later (with Sky not caring one bit) then finally got my substandard internet running. Trooli however gave me a time and a date (only 4 days from order date) to come and do some pulling and digging (they were at it for quite a few hours) to get my internet sorted on the day.
The engineer arrived and did some work but then discovered a blockage. I think there was some language barrier moreso on me not exactly speaking the Queen's English probably didn't help the chap. I expected them to wait for another team and return in a matter of weeks. However after an hour another knock at the door, and I did profusely apologies for my, let's say, relaxed state, I didn't expect them to be back so quick. The blockage was resolved. My internet was connected.
My first speedtest over WiFi on a iPhone of my 2GBPS internet was 1522 mbps download, 1407 mbps upload, 8 ping. That is INSANE. Nearly 25x faster for only less than £20 more than I paid with Sky. I tried an ethernet test with my laptop only to discovered my ethernet port has a 1gbps cap, which just goes to show how needlessly (in the best possible way) fast this connection is.
I know it may be a premature review and my internet has only been running for a matter of hours but when I get such good service, especially in comparison with Sky, I can't help but shout about it. Thanks to everyone along the line. Connor for the initial introduction call. The engineer for being very polite and chipper. Also Holly via email for allowing me to use my Landlord's referral as I forgot to type it in at the checkout.
Thank you Trooli.

My contract (the 2nd I've had with Trooli) ends at the beginning of May. I had an email reminder yesterday so I replied asking if I could lock in my renewal at their Spring Sale prices to continue with the 900Mbps I'm currently getting. They said yes 😊. Thank you Amy! I've had consistently excellent service from Trooli. Even when the service has been down due to cable theft, I've dealt with the same man on the phone and the service has been restored as quickly as possible, while neighbours using other suppliers are still complaining on FB.

Spoke to Connor Wise on the phone today was nice to talk to somebody I could understand. He was vary helpful and didn't try and sell us something we didn't want or need. Hopefully we continue to have a good experience with Trooli.

Very easy conversation with no hard sell. Facts were explained very well and all questions answered with knowledge and understanding.

My contract ends in early May so Trooli emailed me with my options. I opted for the 2gb package which is priced far below any of the competition that continually like to knock on our front door or leave leaflets advertising 900 broadband for 80 quid!! ( we are in a rural setting). Sacha at Trooli was ace. Offered to change over my speed to 2gb early, within 24 hours and arranged for the new router to be delivered within 24 hours! All for a price of 40 quid a month, 40 quid cheaper than the competition we get around here offer 900 at!! We have been with Trooli for 2 years and have found them exceptional.

Well, it's a happy so far with Trooli. George Hodgson from the customer service team could not have been more helpful in guiding me through my switch from Virgin Media (who's customer service is a minus one star comparison). My new broadband unit arrived the next day, I am just waiting for the agreed switch over date to complete my transfer.

ÌI recently moved and booked trooli in as soon as we moved in as I work at home to get urgent medical calls . On arrival I was advised there is no cables so the civils team would need to be booked. This was a wait of nearly 2 weeks and could not book installation until they had been . They arrived and completed the work but had to wait another 4 days for installation. My partner had to take a unpaid day off for installation. On arrival the engineer advised him they hadn't installed the cables!!! But now im beyond frustrated and no feedback from trooli. I received a email this morning to advise the cabling would not be completed until 31st march/1 April!!! Then I would need to book installation after this . Over a month wait before I will be up and running with no communication. Appalling service. # update civils work completed and been told they cant connect me until the 13 of April! 6 weeks after initial installation!

Great service from Sacha this week. Straightforward route through to the team, immediately friendly and helpful, and renewal sorted quickly and easily.

Excellent Service in providing fibre broadband . That is why I have decided to renew my contract with Trooli. Amy was very friendly and helpful in making the renewal at a very good price.

I've been with Trooli for 2 years. Very reliable, only one short outage in all that time and they kept in touch. Installation was a breeze. Speeds have been amazing and consistent, way beyond any other offers in this area and still at a perfectly decent price. Contract renewal very efficiently organised by Sasha.
