I am self taught in front crawl and full of bad habits. Denise has helped me improve my technique in just 6 weeks.

I have attended more than one session for the second season now and can categorically say these have changed my riding and handling skills beyond recognition. I feel confident on the bike and in my ability. There is always so much to learn.

Swimming for front crawl beginners - great class to get you started, swimming with face in water and how you position yourself for a better swim. Denise is there for tips and advice to make this happen.
Have attended the block of lessons and definitely have come away as a more confident swimmer and to use what I’ve learnt to carry on swimming.

While able to swim, I’ve not been confident in the water. Denise’s coaching has helped tremendously to overcome this, with structured sessions and encouragement. I’ve learnt the basics of the crawl, something I’d never thought I could do, and while still learning and practicing, I’m certainly on the way to enjoying swimming much more. I’d recommend this training (and coach) to anyone!

Denise has been the difference between me following my dream of training for a 70.3 and just giving up and going back to just running. Her calm, patient no pressure presence was and still is exactly what I needed. Thoroughly enjoyed the week away with Tri Training Harder, although I’m not a coached athlete like my partner it was great to be able to join in on the sessions I wanted to and be made to feel welcome while also being able to do my own sessions when I didn’t want to take part in the prescribed sessions and also being given routes to do and points of interest to include while doing these solo sessions to keep them interesting.

Had multiple pool training sessions with Denise in preparation for an OWS 1500m event. Denise is very knowledgable and as a result of her excellent teaching my front crawl technique has improved significantly. My stroke is now more efficient, easing long distance swimming and giving me more confidence in the open water. I would thoroughly recommend her.

Completed 3 week block with Denise Tracey from Tri Training Harder - she did work us hard, but the effort was worth it. Even in this short time I have learned new techniques and improved my running style. The sessions are just the right length of time and all these taking part supported and encouraged each other. Very informative open water familarisation session. Really nice session at Hever castle with the team. Session focused on open water familarisation and T1 transition. Experienced instructors who gave good advice, assurance and insight to those less experienced in open water. Highly recommended! M

I went to a pre-event Triathlon Training Session as a 'first time' triathlete. The instructors were friendly, communicative and very knowledgeable. Overall a great introduction to the sport of Triathlon.

I had a video analysis from Denise Tracey from Tri Training Harder, It was something I wanted to do for some time and it was during a regular training session I asked Denise and she agreed to do it.
After she filmed me swimming we met up to discuss the feedback. She showed me the video and and gave me an in depth analysis of my technique or lack of it! Until I saw the video I didn't realise how bad my technique was. After our meeting she sent me an email with screenshots of the video identifying issues with my swimming and ways to improve which I found very useful.
If you want to improve your technique I would highly recommend Denise and I thought it was well worth the money.

I was seeking to give my training a boost for Triathlons I am doing this year as well as learn a lot more through direct interaction with the coaches. My objectives for training were very soundly met - what I wasn't expecting is the quality of the food prepared for the evening, the apartments, the organisation from transfer in through to all the different activities and the effort made to ensure that this was a holiday for those involved. A definite 10/10 experience and a credit to the whole team at Tri Training Harder, who work very hard to make sure that all abilities are catered for. Would strongly recommend at whatever level you are at and there is plenty to enjoy whilst not training as well.

I am relatively new to Triathlon so wanted an intensive week to take a step up in knowledge and training. There was a range of experience and ability amongst the group, from novice to Ironman, but all were catered for. The accommodation is 5 star and the food exceptional. The coaches are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and the training sessions are tough but fun. I learnt loads from the coaches and the other athletes. I will definitely use TTH again and would recommend to anyone of any level looking for a triathlon camp.
Training Holiday (7 days in Algarve) - Really great experience - everything was better than I imagined (and I have a really good imagination). All the coaches are really excellent - highly skilled, kind, caring, developmental and very patient! :). I was initially a little apprehensive about being one of the weaker members of the group - but everything was designed that you could scale up and down depending on ability / fatigue - so that worked really well. My previous longest ride was about 50km, but on the long ride day did 140km at a sensible pace. Home cooked food was excellent too - and exactly what was needed at the end of a long day. Sometimes tri training can be a little lonely, so was really nice to meet other like minded participants from all round the UK trying to balance their busy lives with training. Would definitely recommend Tri Training Harder / go again, though I might need a few recovery weeks first....
TTH helped me achieve my target times and better them. The process was attuned to my needs, adapted to my lifestyle and took into consideration aspects of joint mobility and core strength that I had not been addressing. Some years ago after a major injury I set targets set to pre injury levels, to be achieved within 2 years. Unfortunately a secondary injury set that timeline back. I felt as if I was paddling upstream but not making any way. Last year my friends encouraged me to do a longer event but then they too got injured and dropped out! I joined up with TTH in the spring of this year and they helped me to better target times, than I had felt were possible. I am very grateful for the cheerful and positive encouragement.

I attended the TTH Norfolk training camp weekend in May 2021. Accommodation was brilliant and the hosts Jude and Karl were generous and so helpful. The whole weekend was excellent from the coaching sessions to the feedback after. I will be returning again hopefully before too long!

Awesome weekend of training with Tri Training Harder and Fairlight Lodge. The sessions were challenging, but with a good variety to suit us all, and allow us to train together even with different speeds in the group. The accommodation and food were brilliant - Jude and Karl did a great job of looking after us and knowing what hungry triathletes need to get the best out of the sessions. Great fun training with other people - a really enjoyable weekend :-)
