My partner booked a ticket to South America providing his passport details. Company got his name wrong and ticket was voided!
We investigated the company and they had bogus offices in Wynyard Quarter. On further investigation we found the directors residential address:

She was very surprised when we turned up at her front door! Any of you may like to pay her a visit yourself! We noticed she put up a large security gate after our visit though!
We ended up taking them to small claims court but unfortunately any agreement online that is clicked on is final even though they were in the wrong. The judicator ruled in their favor and we lost everything.
I would like to take this matter further so anyone wishing to bring this scurrilous organization to task please contact me and we can go through legal processes to retrieve our losses.

Same complaining about TRIPOMATE, I bought 2 tickets and I didn’t receive them, they cancelled my flight and never got my refund, skyscanner cannot do anything about it

We had to change the ticket and after so many emails and no reply we could not change the ticket and missed the flight.

SCAM - Avoid at all costs
This is a scam. They will take your money, book a real ticket and send the confirmation, then immediately cancel the ticket without you knowing. I checked on the airline website a while after I booked and saw my ticket was cancelled without my consent. They were unresponsive when asked about it. If you have been scammed by these people, contact your airline and your bank immediately.

Tripomate SCAMMERS
What a scam, booked flights in April 2023, 1 day before I fly out (1 Nov 23) your ticket is non existant with the carrier. Carrier told me my ticket was cancelled in May! This was probably done by Tripomate and they keep your money. No answers on phone, email, even their fake booking email confirmation has different address to google maps. Stay away from these scamsters

Luckily in the end China Southern airlines acknowledged the booking and payment… even Tripomates address in Auckland NZ is fake.
Stay well away where you can, just a waste of time and energy as well as money in the some other cases, we were lucky, avoid at all cost!!!

This is a scam. Don't book with them. Booked tickets only to get an email stating one of the flights was not confirmed. Payment already processed, but no confirmation of flights. No contact numbers on their emails. Tried calling the number on their website- not connected. Opened a dispute and a month later managed to get my money back.
Save your time and money, this is not a travel agency, it's a scam.

I bought 3 tickets from Tripomate. One of which was void. He didn't reply to emails and or refunded $4xxxnzd. China Southern Airlines also stepped in to help urge him to refund, but now it has been almost a month still no any reply. I reported to the Consumer Guarantees Act!
It has been almost 3 months and there is still no reply. I already reported to the BBB of USA and the Dispute Tribunal of New Zealand.

Purchased the ticket on June and just like what other experienced mine appeared to be scam as well.
It makes me very angry to see other Kiwi are experience same thing.. But for those of you who are upset and stressed about the whole situation I opened a dispute with my bank (ANZ) and got my money back.. it took me 3 months but better than nothing!
