Disgraceful company

You discover the true colours of a company when things go wrong and you need their help. This company, travelmob / HomeAway are a disgrace. No reply’s to my emails. They intend to ignore me until it’s too late to help. Beware of this company the be taking a gamble.

WARNING against TravelMob and VRBO

I made a reservation through the VRBO website but for a Travelmob property apparently. I had to cancel unfortunately and I have never received a refund OR ANY HELP from customer service of either companies. I keep being told to contact the property manager but he won't answer me and now I fear I will never see a refund. No one from Travelmob is willing to communicate with me, and the property manager is clearly able to do whatever he wants with no consequences. Everything about TravelMob and VRBO is extremely frustrating...

I warn all travelers NEVER to use travelmob or VRBO as a booking plateform, it is the worse service I have ever seen and there are no protection for paying customers from malintentioned hosts.

Terrible don`t do it

Went to book for the festive period in Sydney and paid by credit card $2000 only to be declined the booking by the owner. (presumably because they haven`t updated their rates yet)
Now it states clearly in the terms and conditions on their website that any deposits will be refunded immediately.
Which is very misleading and a big joke because after 8 days I am still waiting.
When I finally managed to contact them was told it was my banks fault as they are holding the funds.
Terrible customer service and will definitely never try to use Stayz again.
Unless you are desperate do not use them!

HAD THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE THROUGH THIS SITE AND MY HOST GUY! THEY MISLED ME TO THINKING I WAS GETTING A FULL REFUND AND ONLY GAVE ME HALF, LEAVING ME $1146 OUT OF POCKET! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I'LL ATTACH THE HOST DETAILS, PLEASE DON'T BOOK THROUGH THIS SITE!

TravelMob is a pain

I made a reservation with a Mark who supposedly managed a Boston, MA property in Chinatown (Global Luxury Suites property, BTW-I've stayed at several GLS properties & they themselves are great). I booked my reservation for April 2019 as I wanted to ensure 1) I got a good price 2) secured my dates. I waited for 3-days only to get declined for no reason. I then contacted Travelmob & asked them to reach out to the manager/owner to find out why. Their reason was as follows:

"We would like to inform you that the owner already responded to us regards to the reason why they did not accepted your request, it’s because that they do have an house rules on their listings that they could only accept booking request that 8 to 10 weeks prior to the check-in day."

They further stated that I should have contacted them prior. I said I did. I sent at least 6 emails and never got a response, so took a chance.

Anyway, I responded to TravelMob that the managers reasons were a crock of BS as I clearly saw bookings prior to my dates & after, way outside the 8-10 week that they claim.

Anyway, I would highly advise anyone that finds a property managed by a Mark (they seem to manage properties throughout the East Coast) not to do so.

very bad experience: on our arrival in New York, our host told us that the apartment (booked in January) is no longer available, moving from midtown east to harlem ... after several complaints, we move after two nights in another apartment in Korea town (gramercy Park), one bedroom accommodation and an inflatable mattress ... very very small apartment. the penultimate night, tell us to have to move again from 5 to 1 floor, always a flat with inflatable mattress. all the apartments we stayed in were not clean. the only thing obtained: a refund of $ 350 to cover the taxi and the apartment much smaller and inconvenient than the one booked. We strongly advise against the travelmob site, we strongly advise against this host.
