The 7 day tour was nice but a bit stressful and not for elderly people as this requires early preparation and the distance from one place to another is quite far and it was quite hot in May. Our guide told us that we covered around 1,600 km for the landtrips (excluding the 1 way domestic flight Havanna - Santiago). Would be nicer if we stayed longer in Havanna to experience the nightlife more.
Our Cuban guide was competent and professional.
Melias Las Americas - the buffet has a lot of choices, unfortunately, they were almost the same everyday. The A la Carte Restaurants (except LA Robleza) were very good. The hotel itself has a bit gotten into the years and needed some faceliftings but it was a good condition in general. The animations/evening programs were very good which cater to every age. The beach was excellent, beautiful and the water was crystal clear. We will surely comeback to Cuba.
