David was really relaxed and so knowledgable. I didn’t feel at all nervous with him. Also relearned some driving skills. Been driving for years and picked up a few bad habits. He soon sorted me out.

A really useful course. Dave gave us so much information on both towing our new caravan and on how to set-up, maintain and enjoy our caravan safely. We took a full day course. The course was invaluable in providing us with driving experience and confidence in towing a caravan - including motorways, A roads, single track roads, town driving, manoeuvres and parking. Dave was a pleasure to spend the day with, and made the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed. We would highly recommend that anyone new to caravanning, like us, should take this course.

The day course run by Dave Griffin is extremely informative and great for building confidence when towing a caravan. He covers all aspects of towing including a lengthy drive to experience all types of road conditions. I highly recommend this course and Dave’s first class tuition. Not only was the knowledge Dave imparted valuable but he made the day extremely enjoyable as well. Thank you Dave!

We spent a day with David having little knowledge or experience of caravans. He took us through everything we needed to know very patiently answering many questions. Loads of great practical advice ( much more than we got from Caravan handover from dealer ) and he inspired us with confidence to reverse a caravan. We also spent 150 miles driving through major and minor roads in Devon and Somerset so all the issues you may face towing we dealt with on the road.

I couldn’t recommend this experience more highly if someone is a novice or wanting some refresher training.

The trailer course run by Dave griffin is worth every Penny. I drove through all most all types of road conditions and challenges. It was very enjoyable and I learnt so much. I now feel confident to tow our caravan. It is worth doing the whole day course.

Thank you Dave for a very helpful and informative day. Lots of new skills learnt and my confidence has definitely improved. It’s a great course with almost every type of road driven on from single lane tracks to the M5. Straight reversing and reversing onto a pitch also taught.

We completed Dave Griffin's one-day caravan towing course last week, and it was well worth it. The day starts with Dave's explanation of practical, relevant advice on owning and using a caravan in addition to what to do when towing and setting up on site. The practical driving training took up most of the day and Dave was patient, good-humoured, giving clear instructions and advice. We had never towed anything and by the end of the day we felt much more confident and ready to get going with our caravan. The e-book is a really handy reminder of Dave's advice that reflects his expertise as an instructor and as a caravan user. We highly recommend Dave and his course.

A brilliant and informative day with an amazing instructor! David was patient, thorough, friendly and his experience shone through - the course taught us both so much, both reinforcing caravanning experiences from long ago, and giving a complete novice an overview of towing a caravan and confidence behind the wheel. The course covered everything from the basics of hitching up a caravan to navigating narrow country lanes - a wealth of essential and useful info which we will take with us on our caravanning adventures.

Being new to caravan towing, the condensed full-day course gave me lots of useful information and valuable practical experience. This provided exactly the confidence-boost I was looking for. Communication before, during and after the course was very good indeed and the instructor was extremely attentive, professional, good-humoured, knowledgeable and skilled. His driving tuition had a real impact on me and significantly helped to raise my awareness of potential hazards on the road and road-craft when towing.

The course fits a lot into the day, which can be a long one. I would suggest bringing some refreshments and snacks. I would definitely recommend this course.

Dave was extremely helpful in arranging a training session for me out of his local area I have wanted to tow a horse trailer for many years but lacked the confidence to give it a go. Dave hit just the right combination of professionalism & friendliness. I learned a great deal & feel much better equipped to take a trailer out on the road.

Dave offers one-to-one training which is invaluable. The day is filled with filled with advice, tips, practical help, motorway, plus A and B road driving, reminders about the highway code, hooking up, reversing, in fact everything associated with towing a caravan. He is professional, patient, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and has a great sense of humour. Thanks again Dave.

Although being somewhat apprehensive at the start we found the day very informative and confidence building. Throughout the day we covered the theory of owning and driving with a caravan and then spent a number of hours driving with the caravan on all types of road. In summary I'd say the one day course is extremely good valued and highly recommended.

If you’re going to buy a caravan, then you owe it to yourself and other road users to stay safe.

We were first time caravaners and were getting concerned that we would be towing for the first time without ever having towed before. We didn't want to learn by our mistakes, so we booked a session with Dave. We are slow glad we did. You don't just receive towing advice, Dave covers everything you will need to know, as he is a caravaner himself. Lots of towing experience gained on the day, which set us up for the big day with our caravan. I would highly recommend this course if you haven't towed before.

This course is a definite for anyone who wants to tow. I really think the course should be made compulsory. Every aspect of towing is involved with Dave's guidance & expert tuition and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Well worth every penny.

Really good day’s training, covered loads of interesting stuff

Dave was fantastic from start to finish! He was very patient and friendly which made the whole process and the driving enjoyable. It was a great experience!

Absolutely amazing, at the beginning of the course I had never towed anything, by the end of the day I had towed a caravan over 100 miles. Dave is great, has lots of patience and will help you anyway he can. Makes you feel very comfortable and even exchanges a bit of banter, thank you Dave :)
