Dave was very informative, fun and dedicated to teaching others his skills

This course was superb. Dave was so friendly and knowledgeable. He made the day fun and put us at ease right from the start. He is very thorough and he has a fantastic vehicle to drive. You really gain in confidence towing on a variety of roads and also learn how to reverse. Cannot recommend enough. Absolutely brilliant. We did the one day course and we learnt so much.

I did a day's caravan towing training with Dave and what a really worthwhile experience it was. Having never owned or towed a caravan before Dave first took me through the basics and made some great recommendations on essential equipment that will make my caravanning experience more enjoyable. However the highlight of the day was the road training which was both enjoyable and extremely useful. I never realised there were so many additional things to think about when towing a caravan but with Dave's calm guidance and top tips for safe towing I now feel fully confident and cannot wait to get on the road with my own caravan. I was nitially hesitant about reversing a caravan but with Dave's expert advice and tuition I feel ready to tackle any situation on the road. Overall the day I spent training with Dave was a game changer and excellent value for money. I now feel ready to take to the open road safely towing a caravan with full confidence and would highly recommend training with Dave Griffin.

I went on the 1 full day course and throughly enjoyed it, went through theory lessons in the morning with some very helpful hints & tips. Then done around 110 miles of driving through towns, motorways & country lanes. Reversing & parking was completed with confidences and made easy with Dave’s teaching techniques. I would highly recommend especially as you tow with actual caravans choice of twin & single axel. I used his car but you can use your own car as long as you take your own number plates. Do not scrimp on safety and do this course.

We looked at the theory to start, no question was a silly question, he covered everything that I needed to know and more.

Second part of the day was spent in the car, the route plan was well thought out and we covered every type of road, petrol station, service stations parking, all the things that I would of worried about.

Dave didn’t rush any part of the day and aloud me to carry out tasks until I felt happy I understood.

I recently attended a two-day towing course conducted by Dave, and it was an exceptional experience. On the first day, we covered everything you need to know about caravans, from safety protocols to handy tips that make life easier. We also practiced various maneuvers, including reversing and reversing around a bend, which were incredibly helpful.

The second day was spent on the road, towing through the southwest of the country. We faced all sorts of situations, including single track lanes, motorways and urban areas. I wanted to face my fears head-on, and Dave was more than happy to guide me through these challenging scenarios. His calm and knowledgeable demeanor made a huge difference.

Dave is extremely helpful and dedicates his time to ensure you have enough time to progress to the next stage. The course offers incredible value compared to other courses I researched before choosing Dave. I can assure anyone who takes Dave’s course will feel confident towing a caravan and will feel like an expert when setting up on site. I highly recommend Dave’s course to anyone looking to improve their towing skills and understand their new caravan.

Really useful full day's experience. Lots of real on the road driving on all types of roads, I was lacking in confidence towing my new caravan. Feel much more confident now. David in very friendly and I learnt a lot. £300 very well spent. Highly recommend.

Dave was extremely patient and reassuring. He gave excellent and constructive feedback and useful tips and advice, which I have already been able to put to good practical use. The course is highly recommended and tailored to the individual.

Dave was a great teacher, nothing too small an issue. I had never towed before and I was so at ease by the end of the two days. Everything was covered from setup of caravan, hitching up and all the pre-checks. Reversing , towing on open roads , motorways and very narrow roads. I feel so much more confident and comfortable for my first outing on my own . Well done Dave. Great course and I loved it.

This was probably one of the best training courses I have ever done. Dave goes above and beyond to help give you understanding and confidence in towing. He has so many techniques to help find the right way for you to learn as everybody is different. I would encourage anybody if the want to learn the correct way to tow and hook up to do a course with Dave. I thoroughly recommend it.

This is a fantastic experience for anyone who wants to use a caravan / trailer .
Dave is a very knowledgeable instructer who tailor makes the whole day about improving your own abiliities.
He can see what you need and what you already appear to do well.
He goes above and behond until as a very experienced instructure you leave him safe in the knowledge that you will drive safely and confident .
A must for all newbys to caravan / trailer driving.

My wife and I did the two day caravan towing course with Dave. We have never towed a caravan before, so we were starting as green as grass. Dave was very patient, kind, generous and all executed with a good sense of humour. He is very knowledgeable and good at conveying that knowledge. He is also a very well practiced driving instructor and that comes across when taking you out on the open road. He was remarkably calm, even when I dragged his caravan across a roundabout. The course is well worth doing and worth every penny. I feel a lot more confident now and am thoroughly enjoying the towing experience. Thanks Dave!!

Myself and my wife went on his extended full day course. We had never owned or towed a caravan before and Dave was brilliant taking us through all the different aspects of setting up and towing the caravan. The on-the-road sessions were really valuable as were the reversing advice and practice.

So much so that we had tha confidence to take the caravan from Dorset to the Lake District a couple of days later staying at several camp sites. Everything went really smoothly

This was a full day course - actually started at 9:30am and we finished at 6:50pm. Dave was really patient, the course was fun, relaxed but also serious and informative. I feel a lot more confident now and will definitely consider doing a refresher in a year or two - thanks Dave!!

The course from start to finish was so helpful. Dave was really kind, patient and friendly which put me at ease. He steered the course to suit my individual needs and answered all the questions I had. It wasn't just a towing course, but helped me understand lots of different things about how to manage a caravan. This will be so helpful and has given me lots more confidence to tow my own caravan.

Would highly recommend, in fact I would say it’s essential for anyone thinking of buying a caravan.
