We bought a car from this company and the experience was extremely disappointing.
During the viewing and sales process, there was a lot of pressure and steering towards certain cars they seemed eager to sell. They were very dismissive about proper test drives and kept distracting us from asking questions. The attitude was always: “Don’t worry, don’t worry, everything will be sorted.” Everything looked great as long as you paid and drove away.
The problems started almost immediately after leaving the dealership. We reported them straight away, but from that point on it felt like they wanted nothing to do with us.
Their after-sales service is terrible and almost impossible to reach. They promise to call back and never do. Emails go unanswered. When we finally tried to arrange for the car to be checked, the earliest appointment was almost a month away.
We did not buy a car for it to sit unused and immediately need inspections, diagnostics, repairs, ordering parts and endless waiting. We bought a car expecting it to be in proper working condition and safe to drive.
We arranged our own inspection and multiple faults were identified. At that point we decided we no longer wanted the vehicle and asked to reject it. Instead, we felt pressured into accepting repairs and signing paperwork rather than being allowed to proceed with a refund.
The process kept getting delayed. They insisted on carrying out their own inspections and extended everything unnecessarily. It felt like the goal was to wear the customer down until they accepted whatever solution was being offered.
Even after inspections, they continued calling to discuss repairs despite us repeatedly saying from the beginning that we did not want repairs — we wanted a refund. After this experience, I would never trust this company again.
There were further delays, internal reports, management reviews and missed deadlines. They did not stick to the timelines they themselves set. Instead of resolving the issue, they kept offering alternative cars or more repairs rather than returning our money.
What upset me even more was seeing another older couple there who seemed to struggle because English was not their first language. They appeared to be dismissed despite having issues with a car they had only just purchased.
My advice: stay away from this company.
I would never recommend buying from them. The sales experience and the after-sales experience felt completely different. It may seem fine while you are there choosing a car, but the real test comes when something goes wrong afterwards.
Please do your research before leaving positive reviews — the true experience may only become clear once you need support after purchase.

The Trade Centre Coventry have ruined the battery warranty on my Nissan Duke, 24 plate, which I purchased off them in April 26.
The car broke down and before getting it repaired they replaced the Nissan battery with a cheap Chinese one. This battery is now not working and the battery warranty is void because they did this.

We were then passed to Kav who dealt with the next process very professionally. He was very thorough, informative and made the whole buying experience a pleasure. The customer service from all staff was excellent.

I contacted emac (the warranty) and they said to book it in at kwik fit why when the sales rep at trade centre was adamant that it could go to main dealer
Also they advise as 5 star on trustpilot bit fishy I think

Very disappointed with the service. We bought a car and faults appeared almost immediately. The car broke down after just three days. We then spent months waiting for our refund.
Customer service has been absolutely unacceptable — emails ignored, promises of callbacks never kept, and no proper communication throughout the process.

Poor experience
It has been four months since I purchased my vehicle from the trade center, and I have noticed a rattling noise emanating from the rear. I identified this issue within the initial 28-day period, which, to my understanding, means it should be repaired without charge. However, the earliest appointment I was offered was 29 days after my initial report.
Following this appointment, I was informed that the noise had been resolved, but I did not perceive any improvement. Consequently, the team scheduled another appointment, which was again approximately 30 days later. During this subsequent appointment, only a part was ordered. I then had to schedule yet another appointment, also about 30 days in the future, for the actual repair. I am beginning to wonder if there is a misunderstanding regarding the service process.

Purchased a car and after 2000 miles of driving, the engine light came on and car began making a horrific noise. Taken to a garage by the AA, turns out the engine was completely messed up. Piston slap, timing chain damaged, oil in coolant, head gasket damage. After an 18 month battle involving the ombudsman, I still lost the case. Now have a car that requires 19,000 worth of repairs. Trade centre were not interested as it was 8 days outside of the 6 month returns period. Despite detailed mechanic reports, I have nothing else to go with. They had drained the coolant, a trick often used to buy more time on an already failing engine. 2000 miles over 6 months is not excessive driving.. infact, well below average which is why it took time for the fault to show. The warranty I was sold was not worth the paper it was written on.. so just a warning, steer clear of trade centre Coventry. Awful customer service, no support offered and the finance company were even worse to deal with. Was told twice by the ombudsman decision maker that the car should be rejected, however, finance company missed all deadlines, therefore was escalated to the financial ombudsman who went against all evidence and did not uphold the claim. Now stuck with a car that has been off the road 3 times longer than what it was on. Absolutely disgusting company.. stay away

Bought the car end of August, was good. From middle of October I’ve had nothing but issues. Aftersales team at Coventry are a complete waste of time.
Attempting to reject vehicle on a failed repair however they are point blank refusing despite evidence. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE COWBOYS.

This is absolutely the worst company to deal with. My car has been off the road since 29th May (32 days after paying £7650) their policy for fixing any issues is rubbish, currently picking up my car on Saturday 4th July.
I was told I can get the car diagnosed myself, which I did, then they would reimburse me £70, well that was 3 weeks ago. Their after sales service is the worst I've ever come across, Chased the payment 8 times, with phone calls and emails and not had a response.
