Excellent tour of Athens by Elena
Elena was an amazing tour guide - her passion for her country as well as her knowledge made this a wonderful tour. We saw the Acropolis from a great viewpoint, the jail that held Socrates, examples of the architecture from the various ruling entities as well as a stroll through the local markets with a stop for snacks. We also saw the first Olympic stadium from 1896 when the games began again. We were happy with our communication back and forth. The only thing I would advise is to carefully read the descriptions of the tours.... WE made the incorrect assumption that we would be touring inside the Acropolis. Even so, we felt that we received a wonderful overview of Athens, its culture, and its history.

Our 4.5 hour tour of Copenhagen with Ivan was an absolute delight. Perfect in every way. Ivan was on time, friendly, very knowledgeable and funny. He catered to our wishes showing us the sights and made it interesting and fun. We could not have wanted for anything in addition to what he delivered. His storytelling style, knowledge and humour made it such an enjoyable experience for all the four of us. We highly recommend TOURSBYLOCALS and Ivan specifically. Wonderful tour with a great and caring guide
The tour car was spacious and comfortable and Hatice Kelek, our guide to Ephesus, was tremendous! She is very knowledgeable and really cares about whether you are learning about what you are seeing and whether you are having a good time. She was very flexible about catering our tour to our desires and she built a strong connection with my wife and me. We would absolutely book another tour with her.

Thank you for an amazing tour. Atilla knowledge of Ephesus was amazing. Right from the start Atilla did a fantastic job, from the communication on where to meet all the way throughout the tour. He catered to our families needs and wants. He was informative from point a to point z of our trip. He personalized the whole day for us. We saw so many places in one day and the transportation was fantastic. Great van, very clean and spacious, and cool on a very hot day. Nobu was an amazing guide with such…
Nobu was an amazing guide with such depth of knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for the history of Koyasan. We learned so much! Even our teenagers were thoroughly engaged for the entire 4.5 hour tour. Having a monk introduce us to Koyasan was very special and we would highly recommend the tour with Nobu. It was well worth it and one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.

Milwaukee's best tour guide!
Don was WONDERFUL !!! He was so accommodating and took us all over Milwaukee! He catered to our interests-- I had my 86 year old active, spry, intelligent mother with me, who loves a good story, history, church, the Irish, immigrant stories, art, food, and she had a ball! We went all over. The traditional "best" custard was a real treat and the St Josaphat Basilica, the Riverwalk Fonz, stories of the beer barons, the public beautiful beaches, Milwaukee founders, gorgeous neighborhoods, history, art museum, and the downtown architecture and our hotel Pfister was just amazing. He was so friendly and considerate of her. Thank you so much, Don! This was our first trip to Milwaukee! She loved seeing Mader's and Usinger's and her Usinger's knives too!!!! Highly recommend, we cannot recommend him highly enough!!!!

A delightful tour with a delightful guide
Carolina showed our group of four the classic sights of Copenhagen, and many unexpected delights, as well, such as an early residence of Hans Christian Anderson, tucked away in a department store. During the tour, she shared many details about daily life in Copenhagen, and when we expressed interest in having some light refreshments, took us to a lovely pastry shop. As an unexpected bonus, at the end of our tour, Carolina took us to visit Tivoli Garden. Her pacing was perfect, and we all enjoyed her tour immensely!

Venice of Shanghai (Zhujiajiao) is an old town that connects canals to rivers out to the ocean. People in that community normally are travellers from different parts of China to do business serves also as landing port. Many local stores surrounds the water town where you can shop, eat and stroll. Its a relaxing way to experience the simple life of during the old times and on how they trade.
