Absolutely terrible if anything goes…

Absolutely terrible if anything goes wrong with an order or something. I have been emailing and calling torrid since Nov 6 2025. They keep coming back with the same answer, that I've been refunded in full. So I responded today by email showing them screenshots of the refunds, the order total, and the difference of almost $20 that they stole from me. It's absolutely horrendous how they operate and treat their customers.

The worse online experience

Total waste of time. I made multiple orders just for them to keep getting canceled and refunded. The website sucks, and the ap crashes. Then customer service is all outsourced to people that you can barely understand. It's like they don't want you to shop here. I tried to buy bras here even though I hated the experience and they made it so fricken difficult it's not worth it anymore. I can't believe they just don't want money. I imagine this store is heading towards bankruptcy since this is so terrible.

I have been a customer with Torrid for…

I have been a customer with Torrid for quite awhile. That I hold a credit card with them. I submitted an order online and was told that I owe the company money. I called the bank this was not true, In fact my card was at zero balance. The customer representatives were very unprofessional and even one hang up on me. I”m very disappointed in this company and the bank informed me that the error is on Torrid side. I will be cutting up my credit card. If you value your customers then you should treat them as you valued them like a family member. Incredibly emotional.

Sizing is the big problem

Unlike some others, I've been mostly happy with the clothes I buy from Torrid and all the clerks in several stores have been pleasant and helpful. My only issue - and this may be beyond their control is sizing. I wear everything from a 00 to a 2 depending on how the clothes are sized. This makes it extremely difficult to shop online.

I am done shopping here

I am done shopping here! I have spent thousands over the past 3 years. I placed all orders online. Have purchased well over 200 items and have only had issue with a small percentage of defective items at which I email customer service. They refund and never ask for the items to be returned. I placed an order with just 3 items and the payment went through. My order confirmation was sent to my email. Then I randomly received a order cancelation email within 30 minutes of my order being placed. I contact customer service and am told my account was changed to in store pick up because of too many refunds. This is ridiculous to limit an online shoppers account where 100% off my orders are shipped and 98% are kept without issue. Im not at all happy with this type of customer service.

My daughter and I shopped at Torrid in Ft. Smith, Arkansas on Wednesday, September 1, 2025. We will NEVER shop there again!!! They have a huge sign out front that says spend $50 save $25. They had every excuse I've ever heard how each and every item we had to purchase would not qualify. Our total was way above a hundred dollars ..and they insisted we continue to purchase more items to qualify. They talk fast and made no sense. Be careful ..they "bait & switch"....WE LEFT EMPTY HANDED....WE WONT RETURN!!!!🤔👎👎👎👎🥺

Expensive Garbage

Torrid has gone down hill so far it's just awful. See through garbage tshirts for $60???? I don't know what they are thinking but we all really need to just shopping there until they fix their quality or lower their pricing. Sad because I used to really love their clothes.

It felt underhanded

I’ve always loved Torrid’s jeans and bralettes, and even though I live in another country, I used to place a few orders each year. The last time I tried to shop with them, though, my order wouldn’t go through. I reached out to customer service via email and Instagram, trying everything I could to figure out what was wrong.

This all happened right when I was trying to use my Torrid Cash. By the time they finally got back to me, long after my Torrid Cash had expired and the items I'd had in my cart were now sold out in my size,they admitted the issue was a glitch on their end and that a lot of international customers had experienced similar issues. Still, they refused to reinstate the Torrid Cash, even though I had screenshots proving I had it at the time I tried to order *and* that my orders had repeatedly failed until it expired.

That experience left a really bad taste in my mouth. I haven’t ordered from them since. It felt dishonest, like a smarmy way to strip me of my Torrid Cash, and it was incredibly disappointing from a brand I once loved.

Don't believe they shipped your order when they say it shipped.

I put my order in. Which took a bit. Was told it was shipped the next day and I would receive (the latest)3 days before I was leaving town. Kept checking ups but they kept saying they hadn't received it yet. I got the tracking and said they received it. But it ended up changing my delivery date by 3 days. Meaning I would not receive my items until after I left town. I ended up calling torrid and asking them to reverse the shipping because I would no longer need these products since they changed the date on me and they didn't ship when they said they did. Then I was told that I wouldn't get my money back until they received the products back from UPS. Which doesn't make sense since I have nothing to do with the shipping at all either way. Ended up waiting on hold for 50 minutes for a supervisor which I never got. Ended up hanging up and calling them back and speaking to a different customer service agent which I told her I did not want to wait on hold anymore and that if she could talk to a supervisor and find out if I can get my money back. It took a bit but she did what she said she would do and refunded my money. Talk about a waste of time, energy and tying your money up. I would have never ordered these products if I knew that my products we're going to be so late. And also that they tell you that they shipped the item when they never have. Thought I would share since I know there's a lot of people that order before they leave town and expect to get it when they say that it's going to come. Beware.

Torrid is the worst..

Torrid is the worst.
They price switch when I placed my order. The same items are on the web site for 25 dollars were charged to my payment for 75 dollars. I have made several attempts to fixed the error and was told by all customer reps that they can not correct or cancle the order. Why? The number for corporate loops back to the same cannot do service persons.
Never again
Google Torrids legal history. They have been found guilty of the robbing customers and still continue to do so.

I received an email response from the office of the company president/ceo name Raven who insisted that the system could not be in error and the overpayment was caused by myself. I choose to used the code that would give me a lesser discount.

No longer will be shopping here

The quality of the clothing has greatly declined . The higher prices were acceptable when that went along with higher quality, unfortunately that is no longer the case. Far from it! My shirts develop odd holes in them,leggings are pilly after just a few washing. I'm very careful with the care of my clothing. There is no excuse for this poor quality. Bra strap broke within 6 weeks of purchase. The sales people however remain amazing.

I dont know where to start

I dont know where to start, Torrid needs to CLOSE IT DOORS FOR GOOD AT THIS POINT. I am on the phone with now because of an issue that was to be rectified a few days ago, they did not apply my order to the correct email after telling me several times they did and they charged me an incorrect amount saying something about the promotion etc, I had to call the customer service line to place the order bc the system was having an issue and I could not place the order on line. They did not apply my rewards etc or honor the prices that were online like they have in the past and mentioned that they would do, The customer service is HORRIBLE now the people you speak to can not understand what you're saying and vice versa therefore you spend a tremendous amount of time on the phone to no avail. I left a review and i was given a generic message back saying call customer service and they would help me, that must have been a joke bc I am met with the SAME EXPERIENCE I had before. They say one thing and document the account another creating discrepancies etc. I was a VIP customer for years, do to their diminish service clothes etc i have not being ordering and dropped to a loyalist, I can say much more but i am not willing to spend any more time here, TORRID NEEDS TO DO BETTER IMMEDIATELY OR GO TF OUT BUSINESS NOW, AND PLEASE GET SOME AMERICAN SPEAKING PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my wife has been with torrid

So my wife has been with torrid, she returned an item last month and got credit to her account.
But for some reason, she gets a bill this month. A $35 late fee.
For $2 them sending a bill out last month. Wanting her to go paperless. So apparently I have to pay the $35. To keep her from being charged every month from here on out, I told her to close her account. I can't believe this place would do that.

Love this store!

I'm shocked to see such a low number for the score! I have been purchasing from Torrid for YEARS and although I don't always love everything on the website, and things aren't always available in tall sizes, I've personally found it to be a dream to shop both online and in person! The staff at my store is always helpful and I'll never forget the day my local store opened and experienced so much love and support from the staff and other customers. Also the fact that they have controllable fans IN THE CHANGE ROOMS is 10/10. I've never had an issue in person or online with customer service or returns. One of my last orders was when the tariff situation was starting up and orders had shut down for Canada, I didn't realize this and called and the customer service rep manually placed my order for me on his end.

Worst company and customer service I’ve…

Worst company and customer service I’ve ever experienced. I placed an order online-AS my finger was clicking the purchase button, I realized the ship to address was 7 years out of date. I IMMEDIATELY got on CS chat, who told me they can’t change or modify an order once it’s placed. Then, as the CS was responding, the chat “timed out” and cut me off. So I called. Same thing, except the CS was very rude and kept talking to me like I was five. I was angry and she said “this is your last warning” because I dared let anger into my voice. Listen-I’ve WORKED in administration of a warehouse. Those ppl are not IMMEDIATELY getting your order to the point it CANNOT be changed the SECOND you click purchase. Then they told me “well, contact your bank or something”. Like wtf?!?! This is THIER company, why should I be doing that? For an order I’ll never receive. I should have looked on Trustpilot before interacting with them. Never again.
