The experience was great

The experience was great! TopResume did an awesome job of working with me on re-vamping my resume! I worked with Nick D for interview prep and as a result, within a few weeks of this experience, I had secured a job offer!

Misleading Service and Poor Scheduling – Complete Waste of Money

I purchased coaching sessions under the impression that I would be able to schedule a mock interview promptly, as my interview was in just a few days. However, a coach was not assigned to me until the day of my interview, and she had no availability before it.

What good is coaching after my interview? If I had known in advance that I wouldn’t be able to schedule a session within my required timeframe, I would have never purchased the service. Now, I’m left with a completely useless package that does not serve its intended purpose.

Additionally, there was no mention before purchasing that scheduling the first session might be delayed. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, especially for a service that people rely on for time-sensitive interview preparation.

I strongly advise anyone considering this service to clarify availability first, as the scheduling process is misleading and does not prioritize urgent needs.

Nick D is amazing!

Nick D. is amazing! I don't know what I would have done without him. I am changing my field from Health and Human Services client care into IT. The difference between the interview processes and responses were completely different. I would have been grossly unprepared for my interviews. He took the time to guide me and help me restructure my responses. For someone who is not a tech person, his articulation of my responses were spot on. I lacked true structure, stumbled on words, and took too long to provide responses. He helped me correct that and find the best way to answer all of the questions. During my most recent interview with a company, they told me I had interviewed very well, they were impressed with how I answered the questions, and said they were in the final rounds, but hopeful that I would join their team. I am beyond excited. This is my very first interview for a position in cybersecurity.

Hired on the spot!

This review is long overdue. Nick helped me prepare for my interview, and I was hired on the spot! I also had a separate interview where the main facilitator complemented me heavily on my interviewing skills.

This service is a 10 out of 10. I interacted with Nick. He is boss level at what he does and has excellent resources/materials. If you take him seriously and prepare the way he tells you, you will get the job.
He is friendly and personable and breaks everything down so it’s easy to understand. He let me ask questions whenever needed inside and outside of sessions. I purchased the 3 coaching sessions for the practice.

Nick, this is a very valuable service. Thank you

Unprofessional

I had booked an interview prep session. I messaged them to let them know what position I was interviewing for and how far along in the process I was and here was the response he gave me:

"Thank you for your message. we are doing this on Zoom. Do you have a Zoom link and not on your phone I hope you have the zoom link for tomorrow's session at 10 EST"

It seemed very poorly written (I wasn't sure if he was asking if I had *a* zoom link or *the* zoom link) so I responded with:

"I mean I can send you a zoom link but for the amount I am paying you should be the one sending me one"

and then he responded with:

"Thank you for your message. OMG, who is asking you to pay? It is in the system, when you scheduled the appointment. By the way zoom download is free too."

It was a very strange interaction and I felt my assigned person was not qualified to help me.

My coach for interview prep was Nick D. Not only was he very knowledgeable but he was very patient and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend him. After him coaching me I got 2 offers within the next 2 weeks.

Waste of time

Waste of time, boilerplate advice that I could have gotten for free from Google. Played no role in landing a new job when I needed it. Wouldn’t give a refund when requested.

Considering all the ratings

Considering all the ratings. I considered top interview but you cannot go by only name. This was the worst experience ever. First after payment, no one even cares to even ask you if the session is started. Second shock was time. It is not written that time is 1/2 hr. In 1/2 hr, 20 minutes were spent by coach on the discussion of what slot I I should chooses so that coach gets free by weekend. Nothing new was given by coach. It was all the details which you can easily find on YouTube or free link, I thought I am spending money 250 euros to a place where I will get good results. But this is was very bad experience.

Terrible experience. Being scammed. Lost my money

Soon enough after enrolling into one of the interview programs, I realized it doesn’t align with what I was expecting. Within a weeks’ time, I requested for a refund and to cancel the order before even taking the services. The team has since then refused to refund my money, not reachable and has diverted me to a call center in another country who is not proficient enough to handle this request. They have just become messengers between the team in US and me. The team is US has forgotten customer service and has refused to respond to me. They have held back my money and are forcing me to take up the services. I have conveyed multiple times to not wish to proceed but still do not care. I have lost close to $400 and it is my hard earned money. This is nothing but a scam. It’s okay to not proceed with the services but they are running such unethical and unprofessional practices. Would they thrive keeping a customers $400 for no service. It is really a shame.

Nick is a thoroughbred coach! He helped me feel at absolute ease with the kind of holistic outlook that I could carry on my shoulders for the most critical probable scenarios during an interview.
