Never heard of Titan?
Just an extra note for travellers like me who wondered who Titan were, standing in for BA. Fear not, the service was excellent, the plane clean and felt roomy, and the entire experience was faultless. You’re in good hands!
Titan for BA Euroflyer
Titan airways operated a BA Euroflyer flight to Las Palmas, the crew were brilliant and very attentive, the plane had excellent legroom and was very comfortable compared to the older BA Gatwick fleet.
Once again thanks for all at Titan

Not recommended - ground staff don’t know what they’re doing
Not recommended. The Titan flight itself was fine. But a very disappointing check-in experience indicating substantial skillset and customer service gaps. The basic problem is that the check in ground staff don’t know what they’re doing.
Firstly my check-in bags were miss-allocated to standby creating a problem at the boarding gate (though fortunately more competent BA staff dealt with boarding gate who could fix it).
Secondly check-in staff were hopeless in dealing with an understandable plane re-routing (due to a backlog from earlier weather disruption). Our Titan flights were part of an Inghams ski package. And the airport our plane had been diverted to (Grenoble) was no further from resort destination than the originally scheduled Chambéry destination. So the obvious solution which Inghams implemented was to send the transfer coaches to pick us up at Grenoble instead of Chambery. However the Titan staff took it upon themselves to miss-advise passengers that we were legally required to be bussed to Chambery first before proceeding to our destination and were adamant that Inghams would not and could not send transfer coaches to Grenoble. And kept doubling down on that despite escalation to the (sadly not very skilled) head of check-in at their Gatwick base. They also resisted suggestions that they should check the situation with Inghams rather than continuing to provide non-sensical information. And even when we contacted Inghams ourselves to get correct information on the rearranged transfers and informed Titan staff of this they were entirely unapologetic and didn’t even recognise that misinforming passengers about something they could easily have checked was a concern.
The result was a lot of unnecessary stress and hassle that Titan could easily have been avoided with ground team competency.

Awful flight
We were booked on a British Airways flight coming home from Rhodes, instead we ended up on Titan Airways. We receieved no email to say it would be a different airline and neither of us had even heard of this airline. We were sat at the back of the plane, the only way I can describe it was like cattle. Neither of us have ever enjoyed a flight so little. The plane was warm and stuffy, there was no room on the seats to do anything (including move), the plane absolutely reeked of dirty feet, no rubbish collected from us before landing, despite asking for it to be taken and being told "I'll come back". Absolutely horrendous flight and I hope that I never have the displeasure of flying with them again.

We had booked with BA on flight BA2660…
We had booked with BA on flight BA2660 to Faro on 5th October 2025 and the evening before our flight received an email from BA to say there had been changes to our flight the following morning!!!! We would be travelling with Titan Airways - who are they we wondered. Couldn’t get on to the BA site, well I could, but only in German. Not happy, but what choice did we have. Paid BA premium price to get this sort of last minute, no real option treatment.
No need to have worried, all the crew on the Titan plane were excellent, the seats were in a slightly reclined form (not bolt upright like BA) and the legroom was great in ordinary seats (no extra payment for this). The captain and second officer were very informative in a welcoming manor and the cabin crew were excellent throughout the flight.
My hope is that when we book a flight with BA in future that the same happens again, as this was essentially a free upgrade and therefore well justified the BA premium price.

Great flight
I didn't know they were a charter airline. It do explained the polite, helpful and energetic air stewards. I wish BA would use them more often.

Did rain in London Gatwick really cause a two hour delay?
Hi, just flown from Menorca on BA2677. The cabin crew were good however I'm not sure the flight captain was fully clear about why our flight was delayed by over two hours even though we were embarked only 20 minutes later than scheduled. We were told our flight was delayed due to heavy rain at Gatwick and the southeast that had caused chaos across London airports. Fair enough, but we all started to check Gatwick arrivals and there weren't any delays apart from our flight. In fact, the Easyjet flight that left 15 minutes before us actually landed whilst we were still in Menorca. Lastly, on arrival at Gatwick I asked several workers about the "awful weather and rain storms" they had experienced during the morning. No of them had. I'm confused.

Lovely company and crew
At first, when I learned that the flight from Rome to Madrid with Iberia would be operated by Titan, I was a bit skeptical. However, thanks to Michele I quickly changed my mind. From boarding to landing, he impressed me with his professionalism, kindness, and warm smile, which made the journey truly enjoyable.
Kudos to him for the passion and dedication he shows in his work!

Babies sprayed with insecticide
We flew Titan Airways from London Gatwick to Verona in Italy. Without permission and once we were all locked in the plane they announced they were going to spray us all with insecticide, which they did, even the babies. They said if we didn’t want to breathe it we could put our hands over our mouths! I guess we breathed it all the way to Verona. They didn’t say what insecticide it was or what it was for. Appalling! There were many children and babies on that flight!

Do not let your standards slide
BA, were unable, for whatever reason, to fly us to Catania and as our good fortune would have it, Titan were asked to step in. And we were delighted. The staff were kind, courteous and smiled; BA staff, take note. The plane was new and clean.
Titan Management, Please fly from Heathrow. As a business traveller, I would chose you over BA anytime; your service was impeccable.

Great Experience
Titan operating BA2655 from Alicante to Gatwick today. We were in Business Class. The crew, service and the food were really good (probably best airline food I’ve had). Late leaving. Arrived on time. I am also thrilled beyond words that both the Captain and the First Officer were women. So refreshing. Well done Titan Airways. And a shout out to Lucy and Amanda leading the way for female pilots.

TUI charter LGW-CHQ (Chania
TUI charter LGW-CHQ (Chania, Crete) end May 2025. Was very impressed with the aircraft A321. Legroom was amazing for short haul and fwd toilet was huge! Very comfortable flight. A mix of titan/TUI crew. All very friendly. Absolutely does not compare to a cramped Ascent aircraft on the way home!

The crew
The crew, including pilots, were so friendly, positive, happy, informative and helpful. Mark and Maisie were looking after all the passengers needs and were above and beyond what was required… a pleasure to fly with! Thanks so much.

Great airline
BA replacement flight from Palma to Gatwick. We were in business class and had great service throughout the very smooth flight. Seats were comfortable. Food was good and staff were great. My sister had left her iPhone on a seat at the gate and the crew got it brought over on the last bus from the terminal. Luckily it had been handed in to the gate crew. All in all I was impressed with Titan and their crew.

In most respects the flight was decent apart from the fact the seats do not recline at all, legroom seemed less than the equivalent BA plane ( A320 ) and the dropdown table is tiny, not enough room to eat food and have a drink. Staff were helpful and freindly but didn't seem enough of them, only one drinks trolley for the whole cabin, took forever to get from the front to row 23.

Very good experience…
Was on a replacement BA flight to Cyprus. I have to say it was one of the best flights I've had with an airline. The flight itseld was very smooth, the seat was more comfy than BA and the staff were great. We even left late and arrived early so can't complain!
