I needed a 12 foot HDMI cable but somehow ended up with a 6 foot cable. When I realized the error I tried to exchange for the correct length the next day. I was told no refunds or exchanges. The box was unopened and I had the original receipt. I got the proverbial "screw you" from The Source but never again will I be shopping there.

The Source in our town. That we didn't know was closing. Sold us 2 phones with bogus batteries, and an IPad also with a bogus battery.

Scam bought a controller PS4 went to pick up was not at the store customer representative offered me a used on I said no. So I cancelled has been more than ten days and no refund.
I recently shopped at The Source in Truro NS and was very pleased with the service from Prasobh Palancheri, who is a sales associate working at this store. He was very knowledgeable about the products and answered all my questions in a polite and professional way. He has a very caring manner and I was pleased with my shopping experience.

I went to oshwa mall source store to buy a phone charger. The guy Ruhaul dealing was amazing and he told me different phone plans. At the end of conversation I bought a new apple 15 plus phone and all my four phone lines switched from rogers to bell that are very good plans . I thanked Ruhaul to saving some money and more data.

I tried exchanging a samsung flip phone recently at West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton but unfortunately didn't have the box. I phoned first and asked if I could and was told the manager may do it. I went in there with hope but when I asked it was a flat out no. Very discouraging & waste of time. I know of other companies that will exchange without packaging (best buy, home depot, etc) without a problem. This phone was very expensive & I was willing to exchange it for a more pricey model. And unfortunately someone accidentally threw out the packing at home. Unfortunate things happen to people but I guess the source crew doesn't care to give anyone a break. Last time I step in the source.

I would give 0 stars if possible. A disgusting experience, detailed below. I will never shop here again, and encourage all in my network to boycott as well. I have written to the customer service team twice, reached out to a customer care director via LinkedIn - no response whatsoever.
I have had an absolutely appalling and upsetting experience as a customer of yours, topped off by an astonishing conversation with a customer service manager on Jan 18/19th, who was named X.
I would like to speak with a member of your customer care team senior to X so I can share my experience.
My situation was unique, unusual, and called for application of common sense to resolve. I was (and am) fully prepared to recompense The Source for an Xbox I purchased as a result of incorrect information provided to me about the all access pass…. Which I was given by one of your customer service agents back in late November.
Because the monthly payment plan for the ‘Xbox + two year all access pass’ is handled by RBC, they (RBC) provided clear instructions on what needed to happen to cancel my order – which only The Source can do. I shared this with X via a member of his team, Y (see attached). X refused to do this, stating my “bad attitude” as a reason he wasn’t prepared to try and resolve the issue. He refused to look at my customer information/history, told me was “not prepared to go over it, as my decision is final”, and told me I was “being unreasonable”. He talked over me multiple times, and generally displayed astonishingly poor skills from a conflict/issue resolution perspective – escalating my frustration. He told me I could not pay The Source for an Xbox, I had to return the exact one (which was lost). Why would that be? What sense does this make?
Ultimately, all I wish to do is pay for the Xbox which was lost by Amazon (see attached), and have my order cancelled. As you will see in your customer service database, I called to cancel the order of ‘Xbox + two year all access pass’ the day after I made it back in December but was told I could not do so until the Xbox arrived. I then went ahead and bought ANOTHER Xbox from you the following day for my son’s Christmas present, which came with 3 months all access pass to games. The agent in November told me the Xbox did not come with a 3-month pass included (incorrect information), and that was the reason I ordered an Xbox with a 2 year pass.
I have not activated the 2 year pass, as I don’t need it (my son has 3 months which is all we ever wanted).
RBC are being perfectly reasonable, and have said if you cancel the order by next week the situation will be dealt with. I would, as mentioned above, pay you your retail price for an Xbox – around $420 I believe.
Ultimately, this is in your hands. Naturally if I am forced to pay RBC $830 or so including a 2-year pass, I will neve shop at The Source again, and I’ll make sure my friends and family hear of my experience and also boycott your store and website.
So… I await your response. Please review the email chain attached for additional context.
Sincerely,
ME
I purchased a power cube for my iPhones (2) and iPads (2) at the Bridgetown N.S. Source “Express” store and was assured by Josh the “Manager” that it was good for all Apple cables. We’ll it wasn’t and he refused to take it back and refund me my $22.99 because there was a tear in the box it came in. I will NEVER deal with the Source again and I understand BELL is getting rid of some of it’d stores: I would highly recommend them to dump this one!

Poor manners and attitude from clerks, not helpful and confrontational. They also barely speak English or French. The store doesn't stock basics you would expect (such as adapters) from a semi-specialized store. The store in question is at Billings bridge shopping centre in Ottawa, ON,CDN. Also, the prices are very high for even the most basic items.

I bought a laptop from source in September 2023, and I was told that I would receive a $100 digital coupon. But I never got it. I contacted them and they told me that they sent it to my email. But I never received. They took my case and said they would sent it again in few days. Months gone. Someone called and told that they wouldn’t send it again. My question was if I used the coupon, they would know. So how come they wouldn’t send it again since I didn’t receive it. But they didn’t help me. Horrible customer service.

All stores I have been to in Calgary, the moment I walk in, I am not just greeted, but a conversation is forced on me. No, I do not need help, I need peace and quiet until speaking is absolutely necessary.
No, I do not want to be bribed into a new phone, no, my service provider is not something you need to know, PLEASE, leave me alone!
I will never shop at the Source again as the moment I walk in, they are pursuing me, and trying to push to sell me something, anything, before I walk out.
It seems like something they have even been teaching their new employees.
Never shopping here again, I can find everything I need at other less-shady stores that don't harass me for being in their store.

Was give assurance of a sale price for a new tv - told one unit in stock - sales clerk stickered the unit with my name / agreed to hold same for me.
Went to pick up - all B/S from that point.. He made a mistake - not my problem...
Was then told they had no such unit & in fact none could be found anywhere in their system... !!!
Note - Halifax Shopping Center...
Interesting as other locations near by had up to 3 in stock... As this B/S was thrown at me, no eye contact, of course...
Don't trust The Source ...
Received much better treatment at Costco & Best Buy....
They do not honor their word..
I bought from them multiple times and everything was fine. You can use Airmiles or Rakuten to save more.

Absolutely, here's a detailed and positive Google review for The Source electronic store at the Park Royal branch:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I recently had an exceptional experience at The Source Park Royal branch, and I can't help but share my positive encounter, particularly with the store manager, Gurjot Kingra.
I dropped by to inquire about an accessory for my Pixel watch, and even though they didn't have the specific product, Gurjot greeted me warmly and asked if there was anything else I needed. His polite and customer-centric approach immediately set a positive tone.
While exploring the Samsung phones station, Gurjot noticed my interest and went above and beyond by offering me a new phone, despite my initial intention to save for the Samsung Fold. His tempting proposition caught my attention, and what stood out was his detailed explanation of the process, thorough steps, and the requirements for the application. Importantly, he was never pushy but rather helpful and knowledgeable.
I appreciated Gurjot's convincing manner and product knowledge. He made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable, even throwing in a discount. The service was top-notch, and Gurjot's professionalism was complemented by the neat and tidy appearance of the store.
Overall, my visit to The Source was outstanding, largely thanks to Mr. Gurjot and his commitment to excellent customer service. I highly recommend The Source at Park Royal, especially if you're looking for a pleasant shopping experience and expert assistance.
Well done to Gurjot and the entire team!
