Amazing service and throughly recommend

I cannot recommend the staff enough at this shop. In store plus helping from a business. They have gone out their way to help and try to resolve issues I was having with another provider. Very happy with them and wish they did websites!

Took my pc down they fixed the wrong problem and replaced my parts with worse part. I toom it back again because my issue was not solved was told it was my fault and had messed it up since getting it back n so I needed to pay extra. Was told they would be a small reset on some software and nothing would be deleted. Got it back and all my games were deleted. Paid 200 quid. Will not be back.

Excellent help as always

Every time I've needed help, the real computer shop have been great and yesterday was no exception. I was having problems setting up a TP-Link internet connection. Not having any instructions and unable to find any, didn't help. The guy I talked to listened and answered my questions. I went away knowing how to get some instructions and having identified where I had been going wrong. Success! Thank you so much for your help.

Outstanding customer service

My inkjet printer was out of action and trust me that’s not good. I did a google search for printer repair Sheffield and I found the Real Computer Shop. Now I remember sometime ago- 2008 to be precise, they did a really good job for me.

I gave them a call and a very nice man called Jamie picked up the phone. He asked what was wrong and he tried to diagnose the problem over the phone to save me money. Trust me he was super helpful, he suggested looking for paper jams, looking to see if the printer cartridge had been put in correctly. Then he suggested a printer clean which you can do via your printer setting on your PC. When that didn’t work I suggested I came in. He was trying to save me money.

I made my way down there and I recognised the man who did my job all those years ago. His name is Nick. I introduced myself as James Bond. I said they’d done a job for me beforehand and he found me in the system. So my records were updated.

He said they charge £25 for a diagnostic but it may be cheaper just to buy a new printer. He had a look and then took it to Jamie in the back. Jamie mentioned that he’d spoken to someone today and I mentioned it was me.

Nick was super helpful and after some testing the printer was working perfectly. I asked him how much? He refused to take payment.

Now I couldn’t walk away without some kind of reward so I decided to buy a cartridge from them. Would you believe it was 1/3rd lower than the price I paid previously from other shops? This is first class tip top quality customer service.

So the usual questions.

Would I go there again? In a heartbeat.

Are they worth the money? After this level of service, I’d say good value at 10 times the price.

Would I recommend them to anyone else? Of course.

What would I advise the public? If you have a problem with your PC take it to see them. I promise you that like me, you’ll be shaken but not stirred.

Better than you

This is a shop you visit if you are looking for a look down on you service, which incidentally is vastly overpriced.
For personal human service contact myself (30+ years computer/computer networking experience with a diploma in micro-processor engineering) who will either do the job myself for a human attitude and a human price; or I will point towards a computer company that is much better. jellylego at gmail you will find me.
I can also provide training on the use of a very wide variety of software. Again, with the human touch.

Great Experience

Really great. They explained all my options , decided on a new computer and they put one together for me and transferred all the old files from my very old blocked computer. Also found me an old office system and loaded it, allowing me to open some files I had thought lost for ever. All for the standard cost.
