Ramp supposed to hold 350kgs weight without added support. Bike weighs 250 kg. Bike bent ramp. Ramps are cheap and poorly constructed. Won't be buying from them again.

These ramps have great reviews, however they are required to be used within a specific load height and are for domestic, not professional use. If you require a ramp for professional/business use we have other options available.

Purchased a ramp from Ramp People IRELAND (domain name .ie). Had (I think) reasonably assumed that I was purchasing from an Irish company. Was informed by DHL that I had to pay €70 customs charge. Called customer service (appeared to be an Irish number) and spoke to someone who said there was a notice, at the purchase page, of the need to pay tax etc. Just find it incredible that an organisation can justify such an opaque and misleading practice. Given the customer base - people buying ramps for wheelchair- pretty poor. I was told by customer service that there are lots of people who are delighted with the service. I ain’t one of them!

We do clearly state on all product pages that prices are shown as exclusive of VAT, customs and import charges. Along with a notice explaining that orders to Ireland are shipped from the UK under DAP terms. This means Irish VAT (23%), along with any duties and customs fees, are payable to the courier and are not included at checkout.
We understand these charges can be frustrating and are always happy to help clarify any questions before purchase.
Delivered on time and I was kept informed when it was on route.

The only issue I had was the fact that I needed to pay a further 250 Euro in customs charges on entering Ireland.
THe ramp itself looks very good and arrived in perfect condiiton.
