See for yourself, worth a chance

With four diners having two courses each we had eight course in total. The starters were all pretty good and all were finished. Of the four main courses, the Curry /Rice and the Fish/Chips were very good with no complains at all, however one meal, pan fried Salmon and asparagus was overcooked and not really edible and so was not eaten. The staff tried to rescue it by making some sauce and replacing the asparagus but this did not change much. The other low scorer was Cajun chicken burger on a gluten free bun and fries. The bun was great and the chicken was OK but the server dropped the fries. They were replaced but over quickly and they were quite soggy. A problem with items not being right is the the two happy diners had finished their meals when the replacements arrived. Perhaps we chose the wrong items as there were a number of great sounding pies on offer. They had 0% Guinness and Butty Back so the male diners were very happy. They did knock one starter off the bill but after the fact, we would have preferred a no charge for the Salmon and a discount on the Cajun chicken. Given the number of similar type rural and pretty eateries in the vicinity, would be go again? that depends on who you ask out of our party. the blokes would say definitely yes but the ladies would probably decline.
