Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! Yari and Eli helped me through my indecisiveness of repairing my phone or getting a used one. I decided to repair my phone and didn't expect it back until the next day. The job was done and the phone ready to go back to me in just a couple hours. It was a nice surprise to get it back sooner. All of this and they are super nice. They'll go out of their way for their customers. I highly recommend you go there for all your cellular needs including repairs. They also fix laptops, computers, game consoles. They sell phones and phone cases too! Check them out!
Cowboys but that is a bit of a insult to cowboys I guess .
I worked for them once some of the things they get up to like putting repaired TVs in new box’s and sending them back out .
I used to shop with them years ago but spend my money elsewhere.

shocking service from a seemingly wholly cynical (or about to go insolvent?) operator. Dixons Retail World and their "brands" Curry's/PC World delivered me a smashed LG TV. I called them immediately to report it. It took a week for them to agree to refund. A month on no refund has been made. I have come to the view that Dixons Retail World and their "brands" Curry's/PC World are incompetent, downright cynical (hanging onto cash as long as possible) or unable to meet their debts as they fall due. I would add that I purchased and paid for a replacement TV (which was fine) immediately. So Dixons Retail World and their "brands" Curry's/PC World cannot claim to have done badly. I would never use them again. Use John Lewis, where they actually care.
So disappointing.

Just thought I'd express my appreciation for the customer service that Parvinder Singh (who is a B2B Connection Specialist from the Croydon branch of Currys PC World, also part of Dixons Carphone Warehouse) provided yesterday. The branch were having a very busy day yesterday but Parvinder took the time to help me with my order and answer all my questions. Much appreciated.
Quite a few years back I bought a HTC phone on contract and the screen went faulty. I went into branch so it could be sent off to be fixed and told it will be back after 1 week. So I went after 1 week and it they kept saying another week for 4-5 continous weeks. After this I was advised the phone can no longer be repaired as we no longer sell the phone. I wanted the value of the phone so I could purchase the same phone, however the staff instore advised they can't do this nor can they provide a currys/pcworld voucher and said I have to get a phone from instore or get a new contract. O was pressured into getting a new contract which I was not happy with as it was expensive but it left me no choice. I went through alot for frustration with them instore. Few months later I called Carphone customer service, they advised they could have provided the monetary value of the phone so I could purchase the same phone which went faulty. I then raised a complaint with an advisor over the phone and since then I have not heard back. The service I have received is absolutely terrible. I hope someone will contact me to resolve this so I am compensated after so long.

hey please drop the false apologies , if you was genuinely sorry you would not have deliberately broken my tv in the first place, if it was purely an accident which i vefry much doubt then you would have already either replaced it or given me a refund think you will find that the CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015 overrules any terms or agreements that you set out in your "don't care at all plan" care plan, so why am i still being forced to wait ? I'm going to instruct a solicitor to sort this out if i have not got my refund by the end of today, this will only lead to more cost to you as i will also be claiming for my 20+ hours of lost income i have so far incurred trying to get anywhere with you clowns and also legal costs, just to let you know this has already cost you tens of thousands of pounds in future sales because none of my family and friends will ever buy from you again because of the way you are dealing with this, its absolutely disgusting how you treat customers, ive been 5 weeks without a tv now , how would you like it? being lied to and fobbed off having to wait on the phone for hours only to be cut off, having to constantly keep messaging you only to be ignored, when i do get a response its more fake apologies ...

During these crap times i received excellent customer service very happy with my laptop
Phone spot cold called me, had all my Vodafone details (not happy about that) Presume they got them from Carphone Warehouse (used them some time ago) Persuaded me to take out a sim only deal with them. Received the SIM without any information. Spent all day trying to get some sense out of Carphone/Phone Spot. When I managed to get through to CWH, they said Phone Spot was a different company to them! Managed to finally talk to their version of customer services - dreadful phone sound quality (ironic!) - the woman admitted they were in South Africa, which explains the terrible line quality. Anyway, I'm sending the SIM back as soon as I can get some sense out of them. (several attempted phone calls, just got engaged tone and then line would go dead.) I'll persist and they won't receive any payments from me. I'm disappointed in Vodafone, who have been of no help (I've been with Vodafone over ten years)

After numerous emails to this company and many empty promises they still haven’t fulfilled the contract I took out with them in April got my phone but still waiting for the free gift which was part of my contract .
Please do not use this company very disappointed customer.

I would give zero if I could. I really shouldn’t have agreed upgrade! The salesman skimmed over the bit about not really being part of Carphone Warehouse- sold me total rubbish!
I agreed to iPhone SE 64GB with 18GB data and unlimited calls and texts for £38. Alarm bells started ringing when I checked Vodafone app and only had 6 GB of data- I expressly asked for at least 18! When I checked Carphone Warehouse website- same deal for £30 per month.
Surprise surprise the phone number that they insistently called me on suddenly wasn’t working. Contacted Vodafone who couldn’t help, contacted Carphone Warehouse and was told they couldn’t help as it was Phone Spot (phone then went dead). Managed to do web chat with Phone Spot and cancelled contract. Currently I have no phone, only 6GB of data, paying £38 and can’t upgrade with reputable company as warehouse hasn’t received the phone back- it was never even delivered! If I don’t hear by Monday I am going to trading standards as I’m a key worker and cannot exist on 6GB. I would not go near these people ever again!!!

I decided to give Dixons a crap review as they own Currys who give such bad service. Please do not spend your hard earned money on people who do not care about you and are too busy on the Yachts to bother about you.

*EDIT* You'll see that The Phone Spot responded immediately to my review; giving a false impression of a company that cares about customer service. Surprise surprise, after contacting them as they requested, they don't bother replying!
*Original* Oh lord I wish I had looked at trustpilot before agreeing to their cold call.
I was explicitly told I was not going to be without my number for ANY period of time. Something which is vital for client contact. I've now been without my number for 24 hours and out of contact with my work. I am beyond livid.
I've emailed them. No reply. I tried live chat, she took 10 minutes to read the question then got "disconnected".
They have some very friendly people working on sales, no doubt about that. I think the reason I went with it is because I've always upgraded through carphine warehouse. Its clearly not the same company anymore but it was a huge mistake. They quite simply lie to you to get you on board, there is no doubt about that.

Cold callers convincing you that you require a new phone, appear real as they have your detail. Say your getting a good deal but it's the same deal from the actual phone company. Thought it was Carphone warehouse till I saw the invoice with the phone.
Calling them is a disaster on hold for ages and to be told their network is down, not worrying at all.
Appear to want to take advantage of vulnerable people.

Worst experience ever. Lost my item (been over 4 weeks). Can't get in touch with them. When I do, the call drops before they can finish. Never call back despite saying they would if the call drops. Been on 6 calls, each 1-2hours hold time. Still have no idea what will happen next.

Similar to another review, the phone spot called saying they were Carphone warehouse and affiliated with O2. I was coming to the end of my contract and they offered me a new one. I wanted to keep my current handset. They seemed to know my details which is why I believed it was Carphone warehouse - where i got my phone from. They said they can get my monthly cost down (so it was sim only) so i agreed. I then didn't get any email confirmation for about 2 weeks, when i got it it came through as Phonespot - which is when alarm bells starting ringing. I read a couple of things online saying it was dodgy and felt as though i'd been mislead so I rang them and tried to cancel my new sim only contract. They said they couldn't cancel it until they had sent my SIM (which would be when my contract was over in the next week or two).
Around a week later I got an email saying my order had been successful, so i tried again to cancel it. I asked for an email confirmation that I'd been cancelled. They also said if i got a SIM card in the post to ignore it and throw it away. Didn't get a SIM in the post, or a confirmation email to say it was cancelled. The next day my phone stopped working.
I rang them again asking if i'd been cancelled and they said yeah and i said my phone wasn't working so they said you need to speak to your provider.
I rang O2 and they said that phonespot had cancelled my phone number / contract with O2 completely! Luckily O2 were really helpful and were able to get it back for me!
What an absolute joke.

Totally untrustworthy. Do not buy from them- if you have a problem they will not help!! We had no service on our phones and they took us through a tortuous process to show they were in the right and we were not. They achieved their objective- they got paid for nothing and we had to find new service providers at our expense- time more than money being the issue. Your life is precious do not waste time with these people!!

The phone spot called immediately stating they were part of the Carphone warehouse and affiliated with O2. knowing I was on a sim only deal at £24 p/m with 6G of data. This is on a 30 day rolling contract as I am looking to upgrade and don’t want to be tied into a contract. They offered me £21 p/m with 9G data to stay on a rolling 30 day contract so I can upgrade in the coming months. Sounded to good to be true which I stated but the agent convinced me this was a genuine deal so I agreed to go ahead. A few hours later. I received the confirmation. £19 p/m on 12 month contract!!!! So exactly what I didn’t want. I called there customer services which are based in South Africa and cancelled this. Managed to get through to sales who stated the plan I was offered isn’t even available and that I had been mislead and misinformed by said agent. This company are a disgrace. I feel humiliated by the blatant lies and shall be going down the complaints procedure.
